Very nice staff. Breakfast was great. Room a little small. Most of the guests are super noisy and unembarrassed.

The hotel is worth your money. I love the room, the toilet is clean and practical for couple or 3 persons in a room. The Carrefour is just nearby, 1 min walk from the hotel. There is a Metro around 4 mins walk. However you should be an extra careful with the surroundings. Don't go out at night.

Good location… a small effort of cleanliness and maintenance.

The attention is good. The hotel is ugly. The pictures you have on the page are not linked to reality. The night area is ugly. No Elevator. I do not recommend.

Very good location in quiet at 2 steps of Montmartre and beards.

So we're talking about the reception. Catastrophic personal of unpleasant day, room correct but very uncomfortable in terms of litter no shutter, door that it is necessary to slam to close, cleanliness correct, non-existent level and collective heating that we can not set.
The hotel is located close to a bar that is not well attended.

In short I advise you so much to take a room in F1 at least we will have little to be the right to a person amiable. On arrival.

The hotel itself was clean and convenient but the location was creepy specially around the metro station. I don’t recommend for single travellers specially women.

Very clean, good staff, located near carrefour store. Close to subway. It is not very calm and interesting location but if you are aware of not acting like regular tourist you wont be suffered.

The hotel is very cute. The problem is the night time zone. It is dangerous.

If you want to get robbed choose this area. The Taxi driver asked us before dropping us to the hotell why did we choose this area and shaked his head before leaving us. The room wasn't going to be ready until 14:00 and we were there at 11:00 So we wanted to check the area outside, 100 meters from the hotell, my gf got robbed her phone and purse… we found 6 police patrolling there so we asked for help and they did help us. And before we went away the policewoman asked us: what are you doing here in this area? We just arrived we told her and she replied: Pack and leave this area! So we went back to the hotell and asked for refund and the guy sitting there just replies "zero" and I told him we haven't even checked in so we can get at least half what we paid, and he answers "Zero" and throw his pen angrily to the floor… This was the worst experience I've ever been in… The whole area (Barbes) is probably Paris worst Ghetto and the hotell management need to hire new friendly employees…

Simple, but modern. Very well located near metro, RER, bus. In the neighborhood of Montmartre. Clean and the staff very friendly and attentive.

Simple and friendly service, excellent location from the stations of the North and the East and close to Montmartre, Michou, La Cigale and others, excellent value for money… the most: a kitchenette in the room… (we were on the ground floor) … We keep the address.

DO NOT GO HERE This hotel is marked as accessible on it's website and expedia, however, only one, first floor room is accessible, so you must call and request an accessible room. Otherwise, you may have to climb 1-5 flights of stairs. Hotel was dirty, with dirty sheets, uncleaned floors, and smelly surroundings. We visited in November and the room was kept so hot that the floor would heat our clothing in our luggage. We had to open the windows to keep comfortable and the noise outside was unbearable. People screamed at the top of their lungs outside at all hours of the night. Neighborhood was not safe to walk around alone. We were scoped out by pickpockets next to the subway multiple times.

More than Discreet Hotel, located under the Sacre Coeur. Well served by public transport. Spacious and well-appointed rooms.

Room were nothing like it was published as. It was small, had weird stains on the small sheet that barely fit the bed, leaking shower and sink faucets, and rude service at front desk. Want to get a refund or change hotels? They will tell you they cant until the next morning and then when the next morning comes they will charge you for that day, and then tell you that you have to check out when check-out time comes around. DO NOT fall for this luxurious looking room in the advertisement! Spend your money at a better facility!

The hotel is very nice We spent four nights with our 8-year-old boy. Good location, 10 minutes from the Sacred Heart. And the staff is welcoming, quite rare thing in Paris! And the price of the rooms is reasonable. We will come back with pleasure.

Hotel very noisy. Impossible to rest because the walls are paper-and listens for any noise. In addition, the heat is unbearable, the heating cannot be adjusted and it is like an oven. Finally the room is very small and does not correspond with the photos of booking.

Third floor without elevator, to go to the room you have to climb up a hen staircase covered with stinky carpeted rooms and newly renovated bathrooms as everything environment pity that the cleanliness you leave you wish good the location of the hotel.

Old hotel building to the redesigned in the lobby and the rooms but already deteriorated. Broken shower door missing a sign, housekeeping is done but randomly, no extra pillows. 4 floors in all, see small suitcases as no elevator and the old staircase remains narrow.

Hotel Sofia is ok hotel in Paris. The receptionist Mamadou Bah is a great person, he is very helpful, he is providing a great customer service. Beside him, the hotel needs the shower door, the stairs… I am giving 4 stars because the receptionist Mamadou Bah!

Good basic hotel near the metro. Rooms lacked some facilities, but were clean and tidy and pleasant enough. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Just spend 5 nigths at Hotel Sofia, and it is a nice hotel!
Small, but comfy rooms, clean bathroom, superservice and very friendly staff. Close to Montmatre, Metro and hop on/off bus. Private car park two minutes away. Strongly recommand this nice hotel and the staff! Come an enjoy your stay in Paris here.

Great value, friendly staff who understood easily enough English for everything we needed. Nice clean modern rooms with very comfy beds. We loved the court yard and downstairs area to hang out in after a big day of the exploring Paris in the 35 degree heat of summer. The staff even offered us use of the fridge for some cold drinks brought from the huge supermarket at the end of the street. The location is awesome 2 min walk to the station or close enough to walk to all the m…ajor sites. Thanks for a great time guys. Jordy and Shan.

Great price for great location it is.
had a great time except that one day I was not rebuilt the room but otherwise is also convenient because you just steps from the subway and easily accessible.

Just spend 5 nights at the hotel with my child and not impressed! Bad neighborhood, small and I mean SMALL room, bathroom smelling moldy, TV did not work, Wi-Fi was non existent and the staff spoke poorly English and was rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend it. Let's see if they are going to post my daughters postcards, we left at the reception today, after this review!

Modern hotel. Comfortable and pleasant. Good heating. We were in February ' 13 and long cold in Paris. 10 pm — 1 wind chill of — 6. Good mattress and spotless bathroom. Highly recommended. Very good value for money, taking into account that Paris is very expensive. Better to drink a glass of wine (Bordeux) than a cup of tea. If had that indicate something to improve, it would be the of the breakfast, Tad justito and something rigid.
Recommended.

Friendly staff, room very clean, perfect for short stay. Only the location leaves to be desired as we move away from Montmartre to arrive in beards.
