The first thing to say about this Hotel is that it is a two star budget hotel. Good points: very friendly and helpful staff available 24/7, fantastic location — in a quiet cul-de-sac, 15 minute walk from Gare Du Nord and ten minutes from Sacre Cour/ heart of Monmartre, five minutes from two Metro stations (Abbesses and Pigalle). Room was clean and the bed very comfortable, plenty of hot water in the shower. Poor points: the whole hotel in serious need of some TLC and the breakfast was fairly uninspiring (but standard). Would I stay here again? Absolutely!

Tiny elevator, no opaque curtains for the night, but friendly home and clean and decent rooms, decent price 90 €/night ask for the 6th floor.

I would give this hotel a 3 stars, but then you get more than what you pay for, so the bad bits first. With the lack of air conditioning Paris in a heat wave can be hot and ok you can open the windows to get some ventilation going but since Paris is the city that never sleeps and there are many restaurants and bars nearby you will hear all the conversations from the streets below well into the night even on a weeknight. Pluming had leaks in our bathroom when you open the tap on the sink more than say half way and the shower head hose kept falling out of place. I am a short person at 163cm (5'4") and trust me the French are not short, but they are thin, anyways the beds are way too narrow even by their standards. This is probably an old building and in Paris old buildings were small and the elevator is well too small. The sign say it can hold 3 people and up to 225 kg (490 lbs) well if 3 people do fit they will definitely not add up to 225 kg, maybe 75 kg each, also getting out and passed the hallway almost takes some logistical planning as the doors require pulling so (exhale sound). No wardrobe or drawers in the room means don't unpack which was a complaint on my roommates behalf, oh and also this means no safe in the rooms. Breakfast is well not bad for 5 euros per person, but limited to just a croisant, some bread, juice and coffee.

The hotel is located in a very dirty street, staff who do not clean in front of the hotel.

Well located in charming impasse there is nevertheless a lack of effort on the decoration and cleanliness as well as the services available in room type kettle.

Hotel needs to be renovated. Building is old, rooms very small. Almost no power outlets in the room. Employees however do their utmost best to service their guests.

Barking dog behind the check-in desk, paint coming off the wall and dirty breakfast room didn't provide a great experience, but the room itself was reasonable.

Classic French hotel, with narrow passage and elevator. Rooms are small so are the bathrooms, 1st floor has shared bathroom. In and all a very budgeting hotel with free breakfast and helping reception 24*7

Cosy Little Inn in Montmartre. A few steps from the Sacré-Coeur and the metro station Pigalle, from where you can go everywhere in Paris. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable, with private bathroom.
Small minus: The lunch was a little dry, bread and croissant seem to have been hanging out for weeks… I recommend lunch elsewhere.

For a few days it's fine, it's clean and cozy. The service is polite and attentive. The neighborhood is picturesque. Well located to see the city, and has the subway and bus lines next door.

I am staying here, the staff are bilingual, lovely, the rooms are pristine and the location is amazing! I will miss it, when I leave. Highly recommended.

Insufficient cleaning, and what they call private bathroom are shared facilities, at least in the first floor.

A small hotel with almost everything small… tucked away in a nice alley, this hotel is economical in one of the most picturesque neighborhoods of Paris. The service is attentive. Clean rooms. Nice beds. The rooms were very friendly and the room was very fresh. Eye with the elevator which is too small. Watch out for the check out schedule which is at 10 hrs. For a one night or weekend getaway it's OK but for something family or vacation I would stay at another hotel.

Very good service by the staff, clean place, very comfortable rooms.

The rooms are renovated but the rest is lacking maintenance. Very helpful staff. Next time I choose another hotel.

Friendly staff, excellent location and great rooms for the price!

Got given the wrong room so had a twin instead of a double. Breakfast was very simple but fine. Lift is really tiny.

Lovely hotel very well priced for central Paris and on a small cul de sac so quiet. Has 2 lovely cats who lie on things around the ground floor and nice friendly staff. It's a nice hotel with no bells and whistles but what it does offer it does well. And it included breakfast the time in went which is rare in Paris.

This was the hotel I considered home for my visit to Paris in the spring of 1999. I am glad to see that it is still gaining positive reviews, and I hope to return one day soon. I will always check here first before booking any other lodging.

Just ok hotel, not so friendly, rooms are quite small. the street is quite nice, so sad that the boss of the hotel let their dog pooing in front of the hotel all day long! not recommended.

The first hotel my friend and I booked was infested with bed bugs which we discovered shortly after checking in. So left with no hotel and still on a budget we were stressed to say the least! we decided to walk around looking for a cafe with internet and just happened to pass by the hotel on a quaint alley. A hotel employee named marceal was absolutely amazing. After we told him about the situation from the last place he took us right up to a room and let us examine the bed and bedding. The room was adorable and overlooked the alley with a cute balcony. The bathroom was quite large and the room was very very clean. The owners were both sweet and charming and they did everything in their power to ensure we had a great stay including giving my friend a pack of cigarettes when the stores around us had closed. As far as location it can't be beat! much less touristy than other spots and filled with amazing restaurants/cafes/bars. we DEF be where I stay for every paris trip!

This hotel is just above the hostel quality level. Don't expect too much but it also doesn't disappoint. Breakfast is the bare essential but nice to start the day. The location is incredible though, in the bottom of Montmartre, with a metro stop 3 min away and lots of nice restaurants and bars around. We paid €26 for a small room with an even smaller bathroom, which for Paris is quite good, but we wouldn't pay much more. The safety issue did cross my mind since security measures are very minimal. Would definitely recommend carrying any important stuff with you.
