We were badly abused and verbally abused by the staff, a gentleman by day and a boy by night. We spent days of great terror! We will never go back.

Had an amazing weekend at Paris, this hotel is a little gem, central to everything, the staff were extremely helpful, can not fault this wonderful little hotel in the heart of Paris, thank you for a wonderful stay.

Nice place. Rooms are small but the bathrooms are near American size. Very near the Eiffel Tower. I would there stay again.

If you're looking for a place close to the Eiffel Tower but at the same time not trying to spend an arm and leg this is the place. This hotel is five minutes walking distance from Trocadero. It has restaurants and cafes right around the corner. I love that the room was exactly what we needed. It was clean and had a/c and a comfortable bed to sleep in. The private bathroom was very very clean as well which was a plus. The room was a bit small but that is to be expected in Europe. The staff was very nice as well. They gave aus a map right away and told us that any question we had to please not hesitate to ask. I will definitely stay here again in the future and recommend to any one looking for a nice simple place to stay in Paris.

We are really happy we had chosen this place to stay before we traveled to Paris! Supportive and attentive staff, clean rooms, quiet and working air conditioning, delicious breakfast buffet, and … the best location we could imagine between the Arc of Triumph and Eiffel Tower, near Trocadero! As a thank you, we left a letter on the desk with the message in French and a small bootle of wine!

Overall excelent stay, rooms very good and clean. Breakfast very good and plenty of everything you can think off. Walking distance to shops and cafe/restaurants.

It was amazing that we stayed in Floride Etoile. The condition of room was very clean, cozy and comfortable. Also bathroom is big. It is in good location. Travellers like me can use bus, and subway easily. But there was one problem. The temperature of the water. During taking a shower, water flows hot and cold and hot and cold again. It was not good for me. However except this problem, everything was perfect.

Great hotel. The location is just amazing! It only takes 7 (! ) minutes to get to Trocadero to the view of the Eiffel Tower and Arc is very close too. The room wasn't big but it had everything needed. Also the balcony is a nice bonus. IMPORTANT: Wi-Fi is working well which you won't find in many other hotels. Also, there's a very good supermarket downstairs. Totally recommended!

We loved the Hotel Floride Etoile in Paris. Close to the bus stop when arriving from Garre de Nord. Also close to the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel tower. And the Metro line is just around the corner. Comfy bed, hot shower / bath, good breakfast and friendly staff.

Nice hotel. Spacious room with full third bed, large bathroom, quite decent breakfast, great location. Would have put 5 stars, but periodically there was a strange smell when the air conditioner was included. The staff is great both at the reception, and in the cafes and maids.

Nice hotel, very clean, good location, quiet. The staff were very helpful and attentive. In short the place is really to try and adopt, with value for money very estimable!

Just left an amazing 5 night stay at this hotel — cannot recommend it enough for the wonderful location, proximity to the metro/good food/touristy spots, and Michel at the front desk was an absolute GEM! thank you so much for the hospitality; cannot wait to come back.

The location is great! Close to metro, Eiffel Tower, restaurants and a grocery store. Good breakfast, comfortable bed. Heloful, friendly staff. But, the room was stifling hot and the shower temperature uncontrollable.

The location is the only good thing about this hotel. Rooms aren't great at all. Some of the staff were nice but the rest were unfriendly and useless.

I love having lunch with my colleagues. The reception is always on top and the kitchen too! I recommend. Careful, it takes a nice budget per person.

Room slightly small but everything is there. A lot of charm. Very good bedding. Bathroom a little small including the toilet, but well designed. Practical side.

It's a great hotel. Clean. Beautiful rooms. Of course, there are small details which are not enough but for that he and 3 star.

We stayed over for Christmas Eve into Christmas. The hotel was conveniently located within a 15 min walk to the Eiffel tower and a 15/20 min walk to the Arc de Triomphe. We checked into the hotel at noon, and they already had our room ready. Overall the staff was alright. The man working the front desk when we checked in was apathetic and snooty. He just handed us our key and told us the room number. It was a stark contrast from the lady who checked us out. She was so helpful and pleasant. When she checked in other guests, she provided them a detailed description of the area and some tips and tricks for staying and seeing Paris. The room was nice. The bathroom had a weird shower without a door. It was open to the rest of the bathroom, so if someone showered the entire floor would get wet. Our room came included with breakfast. The breakfast spread was not good. The yogurt was warm and the selection was poor. They could only make plain coffee. Overall, I would skip the breakfast and the hotel was alright for the price.

We loved our stay at Hotel Floride Etoile. Comfortable room, quiet, wonderful customer service. We felt comfortable asking questions on where to go and where to find certain things, and got more information than we were expecting — best restaurants, best shopping, best museums, best views, etc. We would definitely stay here again.

I loved the central location! We could walk in a few minutes to the Eifel Tower or hit the shops. The market next door is so convenient and the staff was excellent. Walls are super thin, though.

Do not come if you really want a comfort place. AC has problems. Small room Only the Location is great So of you looking for 3 stars and above don't come.

Very nice and comfortable Hotel. Desk staff very polite. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. I would stay here again. This was a trip I had planned for my Husband's Birthday. It was close to The Eiffel Tower where I had booked a Birthday Dinner.

This hotel is like the best kept secret. The location is fantastic for walking and for sight seeing. The staff were amazing and helpful. It is a comfortable hotel. I have stayed in more expensive hotels without the service and charm. I highly recommend this hotel.

Good location Spacious room, well-equipped floodplain bathroom; expensive and average breakfast in a hotel overlooking a quiet street of a quiet area between Trocadéro, Iena and Etoile.

Gold member of the Accor club, I did not receive any additional benefit: requested an upgraded upper floor, we had a very small room on the 3rd floor. No mineral water offered or aperitif as is practiced in other hotels affiliated to the club!.

This hotel had it all! We booked through an agency but were very worried about the horror stories that Americans (make up) about Europe. We got there and we were SO HAPPY with the whole thing. It is smaller (because everything in Paris is) but it was clean, comfortable, elegant and EVERYONE was ready to go out of their way to help us. EVERYONE in Paris was SO nice and accommodating — nothing like the States where you have to beg people just to acknowledge you. Hotel was walking distance to Eiffel Tower, restaurants (Chez Fong down the street — amazing chinese food) also walking distance to Arch of Triumph (a little further). Two blocks from 6 Metro 10 blocks from 1 Metro but you can get to 1 from the 6. Clean area full of shops and bakeries. A grocery store on the same block! And no — a coke is not 5 Euros it is 2. Subways are clean and safe and walking is also safe. BOOK THIS HOTEL! You will love it. The perfect Paris hotel.

Lived in this hotel in August (25 — 31) 2012.
We were very good and convenient. Close to the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe.
And Paris is Paris.

Love it. Coming here for more then 10 years. Its nothing fancy but its very homey and well located.

The first room we were put in smelt of cigarettes and the walls were stained with grime. I went to the management and asked for a new room, to which they obliged. The new room's bathroom did not have a shower curtain. When I moved the drapes to look out the window, the rack fell out of the dry wall. I refused to allow myself or my girlfriend walk in the room barefoot or sleep in the bed without clothes on. I did not feel safe or secure in the room, it smelt of an old wet basement. I stayed there for 3 days in August of 2010 and have been waiting a long time to caution other travelers of this place. The only thing good about this place is location, walking distance to Eiffel Tower and Arch de Triumph. Overall, I would never stay there ever again nor would I suggest it to my friends, family, worst enemy, or perfect stranger. So, please, if it is not too late, cancel your reservation, spend a little more money, and stay in a nicer hotel. Your entire Parisian experience will benefit from it.
