Great stay at this hostel! Shared rooms and bathrooms, very clean and spacious. There is plenty of storage under the beds and enough to connect your electronic devices. The place is located quite close to the metro, easy to access for any visit and you can easily find something to eat in the area or even directly at the bar of the hostel :) Friendly atmosphere guaranteed! Highly recommend!

A year later, still no refund for a booking they could not honour due to being closed. I had to claim on travel insurance, for over 400 Euros. I would not recommend booking here.

Well soundproofed, clean good plumard and good spacious shower at the Italian price conso and reasonable breakfast very good value for money on the set of services

Great hostel! whenever I go back to Paris Les Paiules is where I'll be staying. Close to metro station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean just a little hot, when I asked the front desk to turn the ac yo in my room they did with no problem. A great place for travelers not too expensive.

Stranded in Paris I was looking for a place to sleep, So I stumbled on this diamond in the rough.
When I arrived a jazz band was playing and the place had a Nice atmosphere.
The room was great and the rooftop terras was a Nice surprise.
When I visit Paris in the future, I'll probably book here again.

Hands down, best hostel vibes in Paris! The people that help create the energy and run this place are just as awesome as the people that you’ll meet from around the world! Still close in touch with some awesome souls I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. The 360 degree view of Paris on the rooftop is so under the radar but captures such beauty all day… catch that sunset because it inspires music, wine and food shared with faces and feelings that can change a person’s life! T…he moments we spent with the people who remember were some times for the ages… Je reviens bientôt!

Very small rooms, but clean! The curtains are so thick, they really black out everything. Light inside your bunk so you do not disturb others. Bathrooms clean, but sometimes smelled funky. Two showers, two toilets on the 3rd floor womens toilet. Great bar downstairs with some tasty food options. Rose cider is a must! Safety unsure of, girl had her wallet and passport stolen in or around the hostel.

Clean, modern, and decent location to metro. The bed room is nice decor and privacy, elevators to each floor and roof access. Bar is okay, I didn’t eat or drink much. The location is about a block from two metro lines 13 and 2. The area around hostel is slightly drab and Indian/Asian in nature. Still crepes and sandwich stand near by, and Asian grocery mart about 2 blocks away. I didn’t walk to any attractions from room though it would be possible.

Very lovely hostel. Lidl is a 15min walk away. Right by a metro station for easy access to Paris. Stunning rooftop with beautiful views (shuts a bit too early as would be nice to see Paris alight at night) but the neighbourhood it's in seems very dodgy, with Prostitutes walking the streets and strange men who like to stare at any girl that walks past, some of the girl being very young. Amazing hostel, terrible area.

This was my first time staying in a hostel, I had my reservations going in but by the time I checked out I didn't want to leave. The staff were fantastic, always helpful and willing to support my attempts to speak French. The beds were comfortable and very cozy. With the curtain drawn it was like having my own private cave to sleep in. I am sure they have room for a lot of people, but even at capacity the hostel never seemed overcrowded. If you are traveling alone, on a budget or just want to get a private room in a place with a good vibe stay here. You will not regret it.

Probably the best hostel I’ve stayed at. New facilities all kept clean. Showers are nice. Easier to meet people here because of how small the hostel is. Luggage lockers in the basement for €4 to rent 24hr. If you’re deciding between this and Generator, pick this place.

Great budget accommodation. Very friendly and helpful staff. There is a paid locker in the basement to keep your stuff, if needed. The bar is nice and has a good crowd. The restaurant closes early though. Close to metro. Highly recommended.

This is one of the more modern, centrally-located hostels in France. It is clean and staff are friendly. Obviously, it is located above a bar, so there is no kitchen, which is unfortunate. Food and drink are somewhat expensive. The beds are very comfortable. Quick walk to the metro, and lots of good food nearby. Overall it was worth the money.

Fantastic hostel in a great location in parks. The customer service was welcoming and the waiters at the restaurant super friendly. Rooms are very modern and stylish whilst being completely safe. The prices are reasonable considering the contemporary nature of the hostel. Toilets and showers were also great. On check we arrived coupons each for a small beer which was nice.

Nice hostel! Clean, quiet at nights and friendly staff. Location it’s good, not near from center but you can find cheap and good products around and 100m from underground station. Three option of breakfast and all are good! Awesome terrace and rooftop!

Very good hostel but it would be nice to have kitchen for the guests, and the cleanliness of the bathroom is more or less. One block from one subway station and two from another. There are supermarkets nearby and places to eat, also close to a bar area.

Great hostel located near a Metro stop. The rooms are a little tight, but the beds are great with outlets and side curtains. Bathrooms are good. There’s also a cafe downstairs with a good vibe. Coffee, alcohol, and food is served here. Had a live jazz band play one night, too. If I come back to Paris, I’ll probably stay here again.

The most beautiful, the friendliest and the most original Hostel I could visit and enjoy during a small night. We arrived early in the evening, the atmosphere was already there and we were able to taste the small welcome beer offered by the hostel. A very pleasant night, on the rooftops of Paris. A delicate awakening with quality products. I certainly recommend!

Loved my time there. Clean hostel. It feels clean and it is. Respectful staff, always there to answer questions or serve you a pint in the evenings. I will definitely book there on my next trip to Paris. Quality/price was great! Thanks again!

Great hostel in Paris. The rooms are clean and modern. The beds are comfortable and they have good facilities. There is a bar on the main floor where they host events and serve breakfast, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The best hostel I've stayed in while visiting Paris!

Nice place, modern, good vibe and clean. Rooms are small, but cosy. The bunk beds are clean, have blacked out curtains and are quite private. The downsides are that you have to pay for a towel and for padlocks to keep your belongings stored safely. Also the showers are usually great with great temperature, but a couple of times there was no hot water at all and in winter that is a problem. But generally nice and I would come back again if I had the opportunity.

Very good value for money, good optimisation of the space in a room for 4, exceptional view of the roof top, Sacré Coeur, Montparnasse and Eiffel Tower, nice welcome and cafeteria bar in the DRC. Ideal for a stay between friends.

The place is beautiful and friendly. Very well maintained. The breakfast is reasonably priced and the products served in very good quality! The presence of a comfortable living room with books almost makes you want to move in!

Nous y sommes allé un samedi entre amis, l'endroit est très sympa et original mais il n'y avait pas une ambiance exceptionnel, je ne recommande pas pour fêter quoi que ce soit si vous voulez danser un peu … Attention vols apparemment fréquent et les appels passent très mal quand on contact le lieu.

Love this place, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the decoration is nice and the rooftop gives it extra points. The food is also nice and so are the drinks. Great place to stay in Paris if you’re traveling solo or with friends.

Stayed in one of the private rooftop rooms. Well appointed, with pretty good views. Cozy and welcoming. You can hear a little bit of vehicular noise from the street, but very normal for a city.

A stylish new hostel will all the necessary conveniences: custom bunks with blackout curtains and lockers, rainshowers, a fun bar, and great rooftop deck with city views. Great value for money.

Clean rooms. Pleasant staff. Fast free Wi-Fi. Showers were communal like in a dorm but were cleaned regularly so not gross. Lights in bathroom were on timer with motion sensor so no long showers or the lights turn off. A ways from main tourist spots but close to Jim Morrison grave. Most of Paris in close to public transport though. Nice place would go again. It is a hostel though so a lot depends on your roommates.

Rooms were small but clean and well managed, washrooms were clean and tidy, rooftop was excellent addition to the property and bar at the ground floor was a good place to socialize. Negatives: location is just okay, reception/staff not friendly means they merely talk to you about the hostel. A bit expensive compared to the prices and location. Would not go there again.

Super clean, great service, free Wi-Fi, very nice rooms and bathrooms, and the cafe/bar downstairs is very convenient and a great place to just hangout. Loved my stay here. My only complaint is the location. It's in a sketchy part of town and far away from touristy stuff. BUT the train station is very close by which makes transportation easy.

Clean and mostly quiet. Somewhat far from the main sites but public transport is great in Paris so no worries. Nice view from rooftop and comfy beds.

I haven't spent the night here, but I did experience an excellent customer service when I couldn't stay in one of their dorms anymore due to a change in my schedule. They refunded all my money without hassle. For that, I am really grateful, and it says a lot about how they treat their guests.

This place gives other Hostels around Europe a bad name! I went in expecting the usual, normal, "standard" hostel but they go above and beyond. A nice bar. A good breakfast. Cleanest hostel I've been in. The beds are the most comfortable beds! It's right on the metro line. Not to mention, an incredible view, especially at night on the rooftop! Next time I go to Paris, Les Piaules will be the only place I go.

Great roof top terrace and friendly staff. Rooms are in great shape, this can also be said for the showers and restrooms. Ventilation seem to be close to none in some rooms and all in my room woke up covered in sweat when weather was warm.

High recommended place. The people are nice and the food there really good (i tried the breakfast only). The room and the bathroom are clean. Even tho the bathroom are public (which not inside the bedroom) but its a nice place. Really cool!

Super cool hostel with a really nice rooftop and well designed bar area. Location is good too. There are trendy restaurants and bars 5-10 minutes away from the hostel.

This is my "go to" hostel when visiting Paris and I like the way it is. Unfortunately, this time I had a very horrid experience. I was staying in a room with 4 bed bunks. I was awaken by a drunk quasi homeless guy at around 4 in the morning. He opened my curtain and asked me to leave the room, claiming that he had booked the entire room to himself. I told him there must have been a mistake and he should talk to the reception. He kept blabbering and swearing and started smoking in the room and kept the lights full on. He went downstairs and came back to open my curtain once again. At this point I was scared about my safety. I didn't want to confront a drunk person nor get into any kind of verbal disagreement. I decided to pack my stuff and to spend the next 3 hours in the lounge till it was time for me to leave for the airport. Needless to say I was stressed and super tired about this whole ordeal. The guy at the reception was new and he tried his best to help, he wanted to confront the drunk guy but I stopped him as I thought it was pointless. There was no way I would go back to a room and spend time being worried about what this delirious person might pull off as his next drunk stunt. The reception guy told me that he had paid for only one bunk bed and he complained to him for having me in that room since he was looking forward to having a room complete to himself. I feel that the management should have some sort of policy or standard on who they have as their guests.

The truth is very good, clean, safe and the people who attend very helpful, I recommend it all and I would stay there again. All right, guys, congratulations.

Super friendly reception. Bar/arcade area is really nice and vibe is really chill room is very clean and spacious. Bathrooms are clean and much bigger than ones I have been in in other hostels. Rooftop access gives a great view of Paris and Eiffel tower in the sunset. Reasonably priced as well. Location is a little out of the main spots and grungy but I like being away from the touristy spots. Highly recommend staying.

Hostel is above a bar which has pros and cons. The common area is open to the public (non-guests) so it's harder to meet people. They also stopped serving alcohol a lot earlier than I would have expected. Rooms are well equipped (the beds with curtains were very nice) but got loud and bright early in the mornings.

The dorms are clean and as comfortable and private as a four person room can be. The staff have all been very friendly and helpful so far (and all speak perfect English). The bar downstairs has a good vibe and average priced drinks.

Friendly, clean and open hostel in a very interesting neighborhood. The staff and service is great. From the roof terrace you have an incredible view over Paris. Very nice atmosphere. Metro 300 m away. A culinary journey around the world is possible in close proximity to the hostel. I spent a great week here.

So SO good, the rooms are very clean and you are able to stow your belongings in a generously sized locker. In addition to this the showers are super clean and very hot, the bathrooms are also kept VERY clean. Best of all the staff are amazing; they work around the clock to keep everyone happy and are super friendly and willing to help you with anything you need. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Paris. The bar is also really cool and inviting.

It is a pretty nice and comfortable hostel. The receptionists are good people and the bathrooms are quite clean and they have hot water. The area is quiet but not as beautiful as the walls are full of graffiti. It is one block from Metro Courones and one or two blocks from the whereabouts of Bellavi.

Hands down the best hostel I've ever stayed at (our double room was better than some 4* hotels). Modern, clean, stylish, super friendly, very comfortable beds, (great) coffee in each room, free Wi-Fi, amazing vibe, brilliant French breakfast. My favourite is probably the rooftop — incredible view and a perfect place to hang out with people! Also, great location — Belleville is fairly close to the city but away from the noise of it and there are some great coffee shops in the area. I can't thank you guys enough, it made our stay in Paris the absolute best.
