I was there for several days on a school trip. The hotel is located near the station (8 minutes walk) and this is the only positive note. The rooms are very small, there are no closets but a coat hanger sunken in the wall (only 3 hangers), there are no nightstands, there is only one plug under the desk (only double sockets), the television has no satellite channels and the beds are not very comfortable. Many of my mates didn't even have the wall hair dryer in the bathroom (small too), with curtain and narrow showers. Wi-Fi connected but was very slow. Breakfast was decent but with little variety of food. I advise you not to go around at night but also during the day in that degraded neighborhood. It's not worth the money we paid or the 3 stars. Look for another one and don't be fooled by the photos, they don't reflect the reality!

Small, no AC, but besides that all great, welcoming staff free 24H coffee etc.

This hotel is on dire need of refurbishment. The state of the interior is shocking. Sleep could not be had due to the temperature and noise. Noise from both the train station and others in the hotel. We had to leave and find somewhere else to stay. Good points? Reception staff friendly and despite a very tired interior, the hotel was clean.

Pretty good. There are some car seats and it is close to the shops (restaurant…) the train station is a 10 minute walk.

I liked the hotel North of Carné. The hotel would need a refreshment (outdated and worn furniture and carpets). The night pass of the trains brightened up in the event that you risk falling asleep. The only positive note is the price and smile of the staff.

Old and poorly soundproof, which right next to the railroad tracks makes the night noisy even on the course side. Room for 1 person very small 2, 5x3 m including bed. No remote control, shower gel tinked, DSB very small, outdated carpet that smells. Basic breakfast in the company of a staff not very pleasant who does not say hello. Not worth its 3 stars. Positive personal welcome point OK, dog OK except breakfast, close to the train station.

Very disappointing hotel. Our room was stuffed with tobacco, we asked to change it, luckily the staff were friendly and there were still rooms, so it was possible. In the second bedroom, the bathroom was moulted to the ceiling, and the floor was water-drain. The rooms are very badly insonnorised, we heard people, loud, in the hallway early in the morning or very late at night. Likewise on the outside, the room overlooked the railroad tracks of the Gare de l'Est, the passage of the trains was very noisy, very squeaky, and very very common. The bed was not insanely comfortable. Finally, the rooms were ugly, depressing, old-fashioned.

The worst hotel I have been to the hotel was a deception it was tiny the room was horrendous the bathroom especially was horrifc the bed covers were dirty and the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. How could you sleep at night thinking of how unhygienic your bed us? Absolutely disgusted by the fact that no one had cleaned the room. The window in the hotel wouldnt close it was broken and the TV only showed french channels which was absolutely useless. The area was also appauling the people were rude, you felt unsafe in that area. It was extremely busy. There was urine and poo everywhere. The internet didn’t even work at the hotel. The breakfast was basic. A unhygienic area full of dirt and bad smells, I could go on, an absolute waste of £600 and I would higly recommend no one going there if I had to star rate it it would be 0.5/5. Absolutely dreadful. Very very very dreadful.

Worse there is only the camp of refugee tents under the nearby bridge. Friendly staff, strive to do what they can with what they have.

Horrible. I don't know if in France the 3-star hotel correspond to a hotel of bad death in Spain. The floor carpet all dirty, a few broken furniture and full of dust, the buttons of the light broken. The bathroom is lousy. Was disgusted… the only good thing is q the sheets and towels seemed clean. The bathroom had a broken pipe and leaking out all the water.

It is a dilapidated but economical hotel. In Spain would not be 3 stars but 1, I think. Everything looked sloppy, with lots of dust and broken things like lights, scratches on the furniture, bad smell in the bathroom… The good thing is that the sheets were very white and clean as well as the towels. In the bathroom there was a leaky pipe… and they moved us out of room. For that reason and because the staff were very friendly it was worth staying.

Bedding can clean. About the bathroom mold on the walls as the ceilings. The shower head is completely rusting. There should be a visit to the hygiene Inspectorate!

More than a 3 star hotel it is a hostel. Dirty rooms noisy toilets without towels. To avoid like the plague.

Ealmente a place that leaves much to be desired, it is assumed that it is a 3 star hotel but when you enter you find yourself in a hostel and who has a low quality. Carpeting in the room full of dirt, dampness in the ceiling, walls with cracks, shower tiny, hair dryers barely dry by the little power you have and two small beds that join to make it a two-person bed that when you use them they are separated and above the discomfort of having the stripe dividing the beds that is created when you join both. Luckily we use the room just to sleep and shower, it really has nothing to do with the photos that we saw of the site, for the only thing that saves it is the staff that is very friendly.

The place looks outdated, but the beds are very clean and the bathroom too, the bedroom is small but adequate for a tourist, excellent relation of price and a street du gare su nord and a and a half from gare du east perfect communication, the internet works fine, but has locked out IP calls and wattsap.

Good service, noisy hotel (because of the proximity to the station). In the bathrooms are lacking the brushes and the hygiene is scarce but not excessively.

Hotel looking nice. Very narrow room with 0 nightstands and the only plug was on the desk. Obscene bath with a finished and peeling tub, mostly there was not even the sicsion sicche rest when you washed you had to hold it in your hand. Embarrassing breakfast with three cosines put there and neither came to add or replace them. W l Italy.

Hotel Highly Recommended! I was made ecroquer by the receptionist who insisted that I settle the room in cash. At the time of Check out no more traces of the regulation done magically!

Small, conveniently located hotel. Where price performance is in proportion. For a short city trip absolutely fine.

Gare Du Nord is really danger place. We almost got robbed. I really hope the police will do more patroli inside the station Gare Du Nord. I still have trauma after visiting it.

The hotel is quite old and would need a major reform, the pictures are deceiving a little bit. The area is somewhat ugly, but the location is not bad because it has a main station at the side. Rooms a bit depressing, there are no lockers (only hangers). Breakfast is scarce. Price-quality relationship normal.

Close to the train station which was a plus. Room smelt as if there was a sewage problem inside and was incredibly small. The hairdryer was lackluster. And by lackluster I mean unusable.

Okay, one night. Some loveless problems that could be easily eliminated (curtain hangs half way down). Organisational problems at check-in.

Positives — Breakfast was good, change of linens everyday was also good, cleaning lady and kitchen hand staff did an excellent job. Negatives — lack information at the desk to help customer when needed about the room; smell of the room due to wet carpet; shower is too small can't even bend down to wash my legs & lower limbs; got burnt from the shower hot handle due to a tiny space to be able to move around, discovered my room number was confirmed before arrival but Thadeus changed into this smaller and smelly room I need an explanation I went back to the reception to find out but I was told that he's gone for the day, no one got back to me.

It is a very functional structure, given its proximity to the North race and the Chateau Landon metro, but equally certainly not comfortable. Tiny rooms with no closet, just a mini coat hanger embedded in the wall, no air conditioning or phone. Micro bathroom equipped only with two soaps and toilet paper. No smoke detectors and one fire hydrant for six rooms. Definitely not suitable for people in the flesh.

Spanish do not understand Wi-Fi of poor quality there are no lockers just a few simple hangers, no bar, the rooms do not have blinds there is a lot of noise due to the proximity of the metro and evening sensitive to Light the facade for the rest all great.

Hotel close to the North station, clean, friendly and welcoming staff, double room with small bathroom on the 2nd floor, shower too close to the washbasin preventing a person with a strong body to get in or out. Room change accepted.

Very nice staff but the photos are already a bit dated! Everything already a bit herruntergekommen (no too high demands on the bathroom:-) ) No idea what it got 3 stars for! If you only need a place to sleep, this hotel is a must! 03.01.18

I stayed there overnight and found that it was a perfectly decent hotel with the necessary facilities that I needed. The beds were comfortable. There were no issues with the facilities I used, but I did notice a few parts of the shower might've looked old and worn out. Overall, it was a short stay and I had a good sleep so I found the hotel was pretty good. It was also pretty close to the station linked to the Eurostar and had many tourist sites nearby using the train stations, most within half an hour by train.

We had a good time, of course, it is not that it is really in a renowned area and you do not feel very safe going out at night, but it is very close to the station, they clean every day (changing even towels) and the cleanliness is good.
In reception it was indicated that there was Italian-speaking staff but we did not find anything like it (in any case we spoke English, better than nothing).
I recommend it for those who want to stay modestly.

Very friendly staff but small double room, bathroom smelt horribly and terrible Wi-Fi connection. Still, had a fantastic time in Paris.

A "3 star hotel" at 1 star quality and a 2 star price. Plus: Staff were great Cons: Very small room that was not clean. VERY LOUD outside environment. The hotel is literally on top of the train tracks at Nord station. Trains run late at night/early in the morning producing tremendous amounts of noise. The bathroom in my room smelled terrible. Liquid soap dispenser in the shower was empty. There was a liquid soap bag on the shower floor as if they wanted me to refill the dispenser or use a soap bag off of the shower floor. Overall: The great staff can not make up for how bad this hotel is.

Only positive points of this stay in this hotel: The friendly staff, courteous and good breakfast.
Regarding the negatives the list is very long, we arrived in a first room, very small and antiquated nothing to do with the photos on the official website or booking. Room window not closing, bathroom dilapidated and not maintained. After that we asked to change room, arrived in another room a little bigger but with many flaws, carpet stained, shower head moldy + + + + Fortunately there was a second if not impossible to shower, mold at Level of the bathroom door. No toilet brush. No bedside on one side of bed, box spring completely "rotten". A lot of negative points. Unfortunately this hotel does not deserve these 3 stars. In any case nothing to do with the pictures. Very disappointed.

Do yourself a favour and don't book this hotel. We made the mistake of saving a few euros and booking here, and it practically ruined our trip. I will say this to start; the people working behind the desk are polite and helpful and accommodating. They really need to seek employment in a nicer establishment which will be more suited to them. Firstly, whilst the hotel is situated practically on top of a busy set of train tracks, it doesn't mean the train station is near. To get from Gare du Nord required the navigation of several dangerous roads (don't be fooled into thinking a green light means the crossing is safe! ) Whilst carrying luggage after a long crowded train journey, this walk is tiring. The area itself isn't great: people were urinating in the streets and doing drugs on our evening walk, and we frequently got approached by people who pursued us asking for things and at one point got in my face and made kissing noises. Very bizarre area. The desk staff let us check our bags in early, all was fine. We returned later and were checked in, only to find we'd been put in a twin instead of a double. Not great for a romantic trip, really. So I went downstairs and politely informed them there had been a mistake, and was told we could be moved the following day as a mistake had been made. As we were only there for 2 days, I do feel all efforts should have been made to move us there and then, but we were exhausted and agreed to this stipulation.

Very disappointed, 3 stars It's really unacceptable, window that does not close well, on the ground: (, just pushing it from the outside for it to open, you have to step over the toilet to go in the shower, or it misses a door, broken, wall and ceiling that crumble… Average breakfast.

This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed. Doesn't even deserve 1 star … Would definitely not recommend. Awful…

Quite cheap place to stay, with a very good location and friendly staff. Rooms are very small with the tiniest shower I've ever seen. Pretty noisy and not too tidy either but if you are looking for a place to collapse after a exhausting day, could be a good choice ;)

Excellent for the price, friendly staff, all the essentials.

Good location, 5 minute walk from train station. However, everything else goes downhill from there. Front desk not welcoming at all. Very unprofessional at handling customers. The room, 508; small and simple. Good big windows for fresh air; which is very much required in the room due to the disgusting damp potent smell protruding from the bathroom. Room service is non existent; they just came whilst we were gone and took the dirty towels and replaced just a few of them. The bedsheets didn't get replaced and they didn't even make the bed. Would not recommend at all, would not stay here again at all.

Awful experience, there's no security measures in this hotel at the floors. Someone broke into our room, ripped our bags and stole our expensive electronic belongings. Not recommended at all. On top of that I'm still waiting for a response from their insurance to pay for our belongings, IT'S BEEN FIVE WEEKS! On the same day 2 other rooms were robbed.

I do not like too much noise, and in addition came out cobrandome others in my credit card a day of more.

If you want to leave without your computer hardware, the address is magic! Cameras that don't work, one comes and goes or nobody checks anything… and hop, 3 rooms visited (and emptied) in the afternoon. My friend who stayed there is just green, and spend 2 hours at the police station Louis Blanc (the police were exemplary) was not part of his program… When you hold a hotel establishment, you secure it…

Had 3 nights there, not too bad. Breakfast was crap, but went locally.

Smelly room, small.

Room very small but was fine for us as we where only in it at night time. Shower worked but handle was broke so had to hold it. Tv didn't have English language. Staff lovely & helpful.

Price is right, but the rooms are not great and it is situated in a bit of a dodgy part of town. Do yourself a favor, spend a few more bucks to get yourself situated closer to the touristy parts of town.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL! It was Disgusting! Smelled, mold in the bathroom, wallpaper with mold coming off the wall. Everything was absolutely gross! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL! I wish I could post the pictures I took so you could see yourself. I would not give it any stars, however, I had to give it one to get the review posted.

You've got what you pay for.

Pros: This hotel has a very good price, the localization is great (near to gare du norde), but dark streets in the night made me feel fear walking late. Free internet was very nice! Cons: The facility is very OLD. The bathroom is very small. The hotel in general is very simple. In my case, no more than 2 days. * take a look at Etap Hotel — it is better for the same price.

This hotel is an excellent choice, it is near many cool and useful things such as metro stations, tourist places etc… the attention is good and the facilities very clean.
