A very nice experience though you have to do self service.

Room is very small and somehow fully integrated with the shower and toilet: no doors or walls, only a thin sliding partition made of acrylic that provides no separation.

Air conditioning not reported during key collection.

Very convenient and located near metro and train station. Have a choice of restaurants near by.

Cosy place to stay. Wonderful staff.

Location is perfect if you need to go to Gare du Nord. Quiet and very nice rooms. People very friendly.

This is the worst but not cheaper hotel I have checked-in in all my business trips. 1. All rooms have no working room temperature controller. The first room provided had room temperature at 28 degree and certainly it was cooking inside of the room. Asked to change to another room and found that the room temperature controller (just a fan speed switch! ) in that room did not work at all. The room also had very bad smell. Finally, I had been changed to third (the best? ) room and the room temperature was non-changeable 25.5 degree all the time. Equipped winter bedding, I was advised to open the window if I need to lower the room temperature. But the window is facing to the main road and the road noise will make you very sick! 2. The another worst thing is the packed bathroom. The bathroom has renovated and looks modem but nothing functional: a. If you have a separate body size toilet then you can not close the door when using it. b. The shower box is half opened to the bathroom without having a shower curtains. When you are taking shower, water will escape from the half-opened shower box to everywhere of the bathroom and then it will make a very slippy bathroom floor. c. There are two shower heads installed. But the looking nice ceiling shower head had been purposely disconnected. You must use the second lower positioned wall mounting shower head. To use it you must bend your body to wash your face & head.

A reallt conveniently located hotel as it's about 5 minutes walk away from the Gare du nord train station. The room itself was nice and spacious with a comfortable bed. The only downside is that the toilet is separate from the shower room and it's a sliding non locking door. Other than that, for convenience, this hotel is great.

Located close to both Gare du Nord and Gare d'lest, comfortable, quiet, well appointed rooms and reasonably priced.

The hotel is very good. Comfortable and contemporary room.

A clean and compact budget hotel. Clean linen and carpets. Well maintained rooms with basic amenities, hair drier, kettle and toiletries. The reception is well informed and courteous. To my surprise it was a hindi speaking Mauritian! The buffet spread is good, the bakery items are always a speciality in France. Cheese options were good and filling for the breakfast. There were the usual cereals and milk as well. One of the few hotels that kept varieties of yogurt, hence a double plus from me!

I’ve stayed here several times. Love the location, close to GdN and easy access to the Metro and RER. Staff are always friendly.

The staff were friendly and helpful for information about where to go and how to get there. However the hotel is small and cramped and when we arrived we reported telephone, extractor fans in toilet and bathroom and air conditioning, all not working. Nothing was done about it. I was in a twin room with a friend but the beds are only suitable for children — very small and actually it was really hard. Room was clean though. Double bed looked smaller than normal size too. 2 weeks before the trip we pre-booked 3 rooms, noon to Paris first do not let us take the room, hard to wait until two o'clock in the afternoon, waiting for n long but said no room, said China time 1 o ' clock in the middle of the night has been emailed notice no room, no other arrangements, tell us to get out! Afternoon trip is so gone, mother egg is bullying Chinese? It is strongly not recommended to stay! What junk hotel, garbage Frenchman.

Good price reasonably priced breakfast rates.

I stayed here for one night for a weekend trip to Paris, I booked bed and breakfast and prepaid via the Mercure website for 140.55 Euros all inclusive of breakfast and tax, however I am furious that when I got back home I realised the hotel charged my credit card an additional 32 Euros for breakfast after I checked out when I had already paid for it beforehand! That is so dishonest! Refund me my 32 Euros that you over charged! I won't book with you again! Now that I have got that rant over with, I can tell you that the hotel is very convenient for the Eurostar, 5 minutes walk to Gard Du Nord. The rooms are ok sized and most importantly clean. The hotel appears to be new or newly renovated. I had a room with balcony and view of the main road looking on Gard de l'Est, some of the reviews say that its noisy, but I thought it was ok. The room is very basic and there is not much provided. You do get a kettle with tea and coffee which gets a thumbs up from me, as being a Brit I love my cup of tea. There is also a safe and mini fridge in the room. The bathroom was also clean and had a "rainfall" shower which was nice. They provide soap and shower gel in a dispenser, hairdryer and towels. I wished that they had provided slippers as well, that was the only thing missing. Wi-Fi was slow and flakey and couldn't access internet a lot of the time. Breakfast was a buffet breakfast with Nespresso machine for coffee, and loose leaf tea for teas, which I thought was a nice touch.

The hotel and its surroundings didn't give me a single gram of security and solace. However the staff was nice.

Location is convenient for public transportation and the room was comfortable and clean. Took advantage of the ability to leave my bags there while we went out on our final day after we checked out. Only small con that I personally had was that the absence of a shower door allowed some of the overspray out onto the floor. But I was able to avoid sending excessive amounts and work around it once I saw that it was happening.

Staffs and room were ok. Again, for new tourist rooms at 3 stars hotel in Paris are smaller than many places else where. The air condition did not work properly, they lent us an electric fan but still pretty hot during the day. Good location.

Rooms are a bit small, but so is everything in Paris if you don't want to pay too much. Rooms are spotless as well. Friendly staff. Breakfast is really poor though, hence the 3 star review. I find breakfast on a citytrip very important. Staff for the breakfast is lazy, so when something is finished, they don't refill. Small choice… Nespresso coffee was a plus though. Location wise perfect. But for the same money try to get a hotel near the Opera maybe?

Been there alone for 5 nights. Excellent. Room could have more open windows. Very clean and cozy. Just in front of Gare du Nord to take train to other countries, and all you need around, bakery, market and easy access to everything by sub or walk. Breakfast just excellent. Would book again for sure.

This is correct. Neither nine nor old-fashioned. Rather calm even if the breakdowns that hum and beeps of the elevator buttons are quite annoying.

Super hotel for a peaceful night in a good bed in the heart of Paris. Breakfast at will mega-top, sweet, salty, pastries, pancakes and madeleines just out of the oven, a real treat. To conclude : the staff is very outgoing and pleasant.

The staff professional, the rooms are clean, comfortable, spacious and the lighting effect is very good, the bed was soft and comfortable, the air conditioning, the surrounding environment is very good. Nearby shopping and sightseeing.

Tiny room and don't expect much with that price in Paris. The only good is it's very close to station. It's better get breakfast outside hotel since there are many restaurants around there with better food.

We descend regularly into this hotel for business trips.
The hotel is located opposite the station of the North and the metro station "North Station". The staff is always very nice. The rooms are quiet and clean, comfortable bedding, but they deserve a good renovation.
You can easily get lost to get to his room, the floors are a bit labyrinthine.
Note the breakfast which is the very positive point.

Besides the fact that we had to look for the entrance for a couple of minutes the Hotel is very close to local travel hubs (train station, metro station and buss stops). The room was very cleand and spacious (although the concept of the bathroom being one big shower is a bit strange). The staff at the reception desk was very friendly and super helpfull! Breakfast is what you would expect from a typical hotel.

Correct and well located hotel close to Gare du Nord, a little more away from train station of the East but it's still big 5 minutes walk.

Old and little clean, it had brand new napoleon and since then have not painted it.
