A nice hotel centrally located very nice staff for a Paris stay only to recommend.

I was given a room that was phasing the back of the hotel, which is ok. Room was way too stuffy when I entered with cigarettes odour and I had to leave the window open overnight to sleep. The next day, the cleaners made up my room and they did not even replace the shower gel, so I had to use my own for a service that I have already paid for. To my big surprise, when I requested an iron from the reception, I was asked to give my passport and money as guarantee. This is not professional at all to say the least! There are much better options on this price in Paris, so I would suggest you avoid this hotel.

Clean hotel staff available and yummy breakfast.

Reasonable value and good location being 20 m from metro stop of same name. A bit dated inside and basic but that reflected in cost. Breakfast adequate. Note that during the stay someone was walking around the breakfast room, seemingly good luck on the phone,. Dropping a light jacket. He was a thief trying to use this to pick up bags. He was spotted in the act and chased off but beware.

Lovely place The room was good, clean. We were very happy with our breakfast. It was fresh, plenty to choose from. The staff was friendly, accommodating. The hotel location was great. Across the street there was a metro station. There were restaurants close by for dinner. We loved our stay and would definitely go back again.

Our room had a little balcony overlooking the street, which was a pretty nice touch. There we plenty of restaurants and stores near by, metro stations were also close (multiple lines). They had a decent breakfast, with lots of breads and spreads, fresh and dried fruits, cheeses. My only complaint was the Wi-Fi. Our room had terrible service. I literally had to stand next to the elevators to call my family and let them know we were safe. Otherwise, it was great for the price!

Enough for one night… but no more.

My partner and I arranged to stay at this hotel. On arrival in the evening we went to check in. However the very rude employee at reception told us our room had been taken by someone else at 6pm. We had booking confirmation and had paid in advance through Eurostar and yet the man told us we had not paid and therefore our room was not reserved! How on earth can this be the case when we had our booking reference with us?! Where on the website does it say to check in before 6pm? He sent us packing with no advice or assistance on where to stay or what to do. We were left stranded for the entire night on the streets of Paris as all other local hotels were booked up. I was very concerned for our safety. French is not our first language. We had to go from one cafe to another depending on what was open for the night to take shelter. It was horrendous! Even local hotels would not let us use their toilet because we were customers which I half expected, but given our desperate situation it was very upsetting to not even have a toilet we could use. Luckily for us we found a restaurant that was open 24 hours to sit in for the whole night to keep safe and watered! But this was hardly ideal. If you are thinking of staying at this hotel, be prepared to be turned away or even better, don't book to stay here!

There is a metro station right next to the hotel so you can easily travel about the city. The rooms are small but comfortable and include a breakfast that you can eat inside or at the small courtyard outside.

Absolutely loved our stay! I definitely recommend this hotel. It's very beautiful and the staff is amazing and so helpful.

The hotel was very nice and the room was very good.

Receptionists were very helpful and available. One of them talks an excellent italian and explained everything about the room and breakfast. The room was clean, tidy, pretty and right size for 2 people and for 3 stars hotel. Free Wi-Fi access, TV, Air-conditioned, Hot Water, plenty breakfast, kind staff and close to tube station just 20mt. We are very satisfied. Ref: TL89083703

The hotel was very nice and well kept. It seemed to have been updated in the lobby as you entered. The room was small, but nice. Our biggest complaint and the reason for 3 stars instead of more was the bed, it was possibly the worst bed I have ever slept on. The springs in the mattress cut into your ribs as you laid there. I ended up having to take extra pillows and slept on them so save myself from being stabbed by the bed. The area was nice as it was across from the metro, but the never ending ambulance sirens made it hard to get any sleep once comfortable in the bed. It was a shame the bed was so bad because the rest of the hotel and our experience there was very nice.

We stayed with the whole family there and had 3 rooms next to each other and opposite. All the rooms were clean and tidy. The size OK for a stay of 3 days. The bathroom also clean and well equipped with hair dryer and shower gel and fresh towels every day. The breakfast was good. The staff are all very friendly. The location of the hotel is convenient, close to the metro and not far from the train station.
For the price you can really not expect more in a city like Paris.
A pity was that we did not get the connecting rooms and windows to the quieter courtyard, although we booked 4 months in advance and requested extra. If our children had been younger, we could not have kept these rooms. There were links to the respective neighbouring rooms, but not between our rooms.

The rooms are of an excellent level apart from the noise nuisance on the street side which for the price should not exist.

Good, but the breakfast was not crazy. The room was a refectory and not at all intimate. The bathroom was cold and there was water everywhere. The bed was very comfortable.

Ideal hotel for a city trip, 10 seconds away from a subway station. Rooms aren't big but they are clean and comfortable. Breakfast isn't that great in choice but nothing to really complain about.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on my first trip to Paris. Definitely not worth the money. The front desk guy, Alain, was rude and had no customer service skills. As soon as I spoke to him in English, his tone changed and he seemed bothered by any questions I had for him. The room was alright, but be warned, the showers don’t have a door, so you’ll need to shower carefully or risk getting water all over the floor. As for the breakfast, it was alright, but definitely not worth the €15 they charge. Thankfully, it was included with my stay. Lastly, they charge €9 to hold your bags once you check out. So if you’re planning on going sight seeing after checking out, be prepped to dish out the cash. To conclude, spend the extra money and get yourself a better place to stay. You’ll thank me for it.

Easy access location as metro station opposite hotel. And train station 10 min walk down the road. Clean hotel friendly staff. All round pleasant stay :)

I would have liked this hotel if we had not been so cold, even putting the heating to the max, impossible to warm up… After reading the little guide that had a paragraph "great cold", we appealed to the reception to have an extra heating.
I think this is because of a bad thermal insulation and also phonic!
Otherwise it is true that the hotel was clean design, professional staff, and a good breakfast… it's just a pity to go to the hotel and to be cold, one would rather imagine the opposite…

Totally fine. Was basic but clean and the service was good. The location was very good for us, too, so no complaints really.

The room was clean, but very small. Breakfast was a buffet of various foods, all of a good quality. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The location is great for Eurostar travel, being a few minutes walk from Gare du Nord. There is a metro station right outside the hotel, enabling swift travel to all parts of Paris.

Crampy rooms. Shoddy rooms and room service. Fairly decent breakfast and good kitchen staff.

Friendly staff, good Wi-Fi, location is OK, 12 min taxi to center of paris, hotel is right next to a police station and a laundry mat is across the street. Bathroom wasn't clean enough for me and rooms are small.

We got a corner room which is the epitamy of hell! The toilet was on an angled wall so you had to sit on it sideways to use it. The room was really small so when we took a shower the room would over heat and was extremely hot and this is coming from a cold natured person. The bed was like sleeping on a board and the rooms do not have wash cloths. I asked if the hotel had air conditioning and I was told yes but they do not unless you consider the window air conditioning. When you opened up the window you could not go to sleep due to the City never sleeping, the use of car horns, and sirens going off all the time. The hotel is not horrible, the staff were wonderful and it was awesome that you got breakfast with your stay. Just some inconveniences.

I booked a package with Groupon and this is the hotel they chose. Upon entering the neighborhood, it looked aged. Check-In was quick and easy. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The lobby area was very nice. However, this hotel felt more like a motel. Carpet on the hallway floor was old, worn and therefore left an immediate bad impression. The room was very small with hardly any space to move around. Carpet in the room had a stinking musty odor, which made it difficult to breathe. The bed was very low to the floor. The bath tub was too small for a tall person to sit down. However, the room was kept clean each day. There are all kinds of stores surrounding the motel and a restaurant. Breakfast facility was clean. However the food was mostly cold items and the choices limited. Public transportation was good. NOTE: The guest room used a specialized punched key system and they only had one key per room. This annoyed my wife, who likes to have her own key. Lastly, the internet hardly worked properly at all. It was on and off but more annoyingly, I had to login every single time I need to get online. Simply put the Wi-Fi did not work. Period. Got so frustrated with the accommodations, we left the hotel for another. Oh, did I tell you the hotel is near a police station. Hence expect to hear lots of sirens.

Lovely staff who are very helpful. Rooms a bit small and dated for the price and wasn't in the best condition (holes in wall etc) but great connections to get around Paris.

For what you pay it is spot on beds so comfy and the little garden is so sweet to have your breakfast the breakfast is continental the metro is just outside the hotel to take you in to the centre loads of cafes; bars. Restaurants close by loved it.

We stayed here for 3 nights and booked through Thomas Cook who recommended at the time of booking, our stay was fantastic from start to finish, all the staff were really helpful, clean and tidy throughout, rooms compacted but they felt homely, beds really comfortable (guaranteed good nights sleep), breakfast had plenty of options within the continental style, only upgrade would be the bathrooms, as the decor is a little dated. Local restaurants and within walking distance which we tried was Formidable and Le Jaures, both providing excellent service and highly flavoured dishes at a reasonable price, also hotel location is perfect for commuting into Central Paris as there is a Metro station (Louis Blanc) across the road.

Great for the price. Basic rooms, staff generally helpful (some much better than others), very nice breakfast, and daily basic room maintenance. Metro 30 meters from front entrance with easy travel to all of Paris. Has a small supermarket just around the corner. It is close to a police station, so can be noisy depending on which side of the hotel you are on. Very nice park a mile to the east.

The room is very small, but the hotel's location is excellent. And, more importantly, it is not expensive at all.

We stayed here for a weekend trip in November 2015. Service and people where kind. The room was for a city hotel totaly okey. It was comfi and clean. The shower was great hot. Thats a plus becouse it was quit cold outside and after a day trip it was super to have a hot shower. We had no breakfast so no idea how it is. The hotel is great located. The Wi-Fi worked good. We would book here again because the cost benefit ratio is totaly okey for a city weekend trip.

We were scheduled to be there this week for a one week stay. After the attacks I decided I cannot bring my pregnant wife to Paris due to many reasons. We tried to contact the hotel for our money back and after days they responded with No! It's really sad because as soon as all these issues would have quited down we will go to Paris but now I would never ever stay at this hotel. They should understand the circumstances and refund us our money. I will make sure all my family and friends stay clear of this hotel. No compassion.

TERRIBLE! We arrived and were given a room, when we got to it I couldn't believe how smelly and dark it was, I walked around the bed and found the carpet to be wet through so I went to reception and was given another room, I got to that one only to find it dirty and unmade from the previous customer. Eventually we got a third room and basically got put in the smallest most disgusting room I've ever seen, ignore the photos on the website because they don't show the hotel at all. The bathroom was appalling with mould and grime and seemed to be falling apart. The room was next to the stairs with a door that seemed to be getting slammed all night and there was no safe or ironing facilities in the room as advertised. The area that the hotel is in felt very unsafe after dark so I was glad to have a metro station just across the road. I managed to get hold of the manager the following morning having had a terrible nights sleep and eventually was upgraded to the 'premium' room, admittedly it did seem slightly nicer than the room I had been in but so would a garden shed, at least there was some space to move. The next 3 nights were average at most, the mattress had such a dip in that it was like sleeping on the side of a mountain and I've never known so much noise, the walls seem to be made from a single sheet of tissue paper.

I stayed in this hotel on the 19/08/15 I was booked into for 4 nights with my 2 nephews and niece. We stayed in room 312 and 310 — twin rooms. It was a complete dump and after 1 nights stay I left the hotel and am pursuing EXPEDIA for the price of my booking. The area is unsafe the hotel is shabby and the bathroomsare dirty the showers in both rooms didn't drain properly and extractor fans didn't work properly in either room. The receptionist was unhelpful and didn't answer the phone. The Wi-Fi connection despite being advertised didn't work well and was practically useless. The area the hotel is in I would describe as run down and unsafe and notorious for Turkish gang warfare. The children felt unsafe in the hotel and given the shabbiness and general state of the place I felt I had no option but to book another safer cleaner hotel which I got for not much more money than this one. The whole experience was one of the worst I have ever had in my life of travelling around major cities in Europe. Sad that both Expedia and Trip Advisor put this hotel on their web sites.

I stayed at this hotel for 10 days and this is my honest opinion. I have taken the time out to write this when I am not too angry. Firstly, all you see in this hotel is colour and that’s nice and positive and all but that’s all you get. If you want the bare minimum i. E a bed with clean sheets and a bathroom then this hotel is for you (N. B you can get these in a cheaper hotel) but then of course there’s a guest lounge and a courtyard garden with a terrace so that counts for something right? However if you take other things into consideration when searching for a hotel then you may need to consider the following: 1. Although I have said above that this hotel provides the bare minimum I must warn that sleep is not part of this definition. The workers (mainly the cleaners) are extremely noisy in the morning when they go about doing the ménage, shouting is to be expected at 9am or 10 if one is lucky, if you’re an early riser this is no problem but I stay up and wake up late when I’m on a trip, sue me! 2. As for the Wi-Fi? What Wi-Fi? You pay for it but you don’t get it and if you do get it its unbearably slow. But yeah “sorry there’s nothing we can do” (can you feel my frustration yet) 3. The customer service is not so bad, one or two of the receptionists were nice, but the lot of them are extremely inefficient and unhelpful, sarcasm is to be expected and you do hear them saying the above quote 4.

Arrival at midnight with the unpleasant surprise of having a double room for 3 people. Cannot turn on the television because no remote control. Otherwise, welcome to the night watchman who was sorry and helpless in front of our problem.
