Excellent room and general service from staff. Location was ideal for us. Will visit again!

Staff was super friendly. The desk service lady Diane was very helpful on getting us around and where to go eat and such. The bartender was also very happy to help and helped with information we asked about. I really enjoyed Helsinki and the HOLIDAY INN. Thank you!

Awful choice! Room at the side of the hotel was like a prison cell. Bathroom was dirty — unhygienically so! And breakfast is truly terrible and incredibly bad value for 20 euro pp!

The windows in the hotel are closed tightly, and the system of general air conditioning works a little bit. Located c rather dirty area of the bus station. There's a construction site nearby. The service is good.

Conveniently located next to the train station in the city center. Clean, tidy, good breakfasts. The room is quiet, you can't hear the noise of the station. There is a kettle, comfortable furniture, a bathtub. Without luxury, but comfortable, comfortable and budgetary.

Great place. Room was beautifully modern and relaxing. The hotel interior is well decorated and staff is friendly. I arrived a few hours early to drop my bags before check in time but they gave me room right away — details like this count when you are looking fkr conform and stress free travel. Highly recommend this place!

Excellent location with pleasant and professional staff. Room was fine though the small shelf's made unpacking and storage difficult. The bed was comfortable. Cannot comment on the food as we ate out as there are many restaraunts and cafes in the vicinity. One point to be aware of and this is not the fault of the hotel but there are quite a few beggars and drunks around the Central Station. So you may be hassled at some point on your way to and from the hotel.

Comfortable hotel in the city centre close to Helsinki Central Station. Breakfast Average rooms for a Scandinavian hotel. Many services offered by the hotel including the Finnish sauna invariably present. Absolutely impeccable cleaning. Be careful to ask for a non-smoking room.

Good hotel. Having all the facilities you need. 100yard from central railway station. Lots of food shop, clothing stores and supermarkets are around.

At the bar, the barista served me a Cafe Latte from a crappy coffee automat, because apparently their Espresso Machine was broken, but sold it for a full price off course. Horrible customer experience in an otherwise nice cafe.

Correct Central The restaurant does not pay mine but it is good and lacceuil very friendly.

It's the little things that make the difference, unfortunately they are not present here. However location is brilliant to railway station. The room was clean but space was at a premium with very little ledge space to put our things and only one suitcase rack for two people. Towels were thin and poor quality. Coffee sachets not replenished and we bad to go to foyer each day for milk. Wifi was excellent.

Have stayed more than 10 times here over the last 5 years and it's always been very good. The location is central. The staff are courteous and professional. The room have all the required facilities and the views are fab too.

Place so close to Helsinki railway station. A good hotel stay and the rooms are clean and modern. Breakfast is served as compliment and it's so good. Don't miss the bakery items from your breakfast. There's free gym and free Wi-Fi.

Very central location close to helsinki railway station. Book in advance to benefit of competitive prices… breakfast has good offering and advantages are reserved to membership card holders (eg newspapers)

They do not offer another way to call or even emergency number. They had to had a normal landline number and some mobiles. edit: the staff is friendly, the rooms are very clean but as I said before it was difficult to communicate with the hotel.

Great hotel, chic location. Located in the center, near the railway and bus station, grocery store. The service is also great, resettled even earlier, with no problems. Rooms are cleaned every day. And on the ground floor there is a mini-football, board games, computers and a printer.

The hotel has the best location in Helsinki… Train from the airport €5 per person… and it stops right at the hotel.

Good hotel, with good beds and rooms. The only negative thing is that the TV is quite small aswell as most of the channels where not working. Decent breakfast aswell.

Comfortable and clean. Kitchen opening times need to be updated on displays and menus.

Holiday Inn Helsinki City Centre is located very close to the central station in Helsinki. The rooms are good and spacious. The free Wi-Fi is okay. The breakfast is good. All in all a good hotel that is well located. The price was out of proportion to the quality provided, but it appeared to be an extremely expensive time period in Helsinki.

What a delightful hotel! We enjoyed a great couple of days staying here. Great location, central to all we planned to see. Nice rooms, good brekkie, (don't drink the coffee though, if you are a cafenista) very friendly and helpful team there. Thank you Ms. Maria from the bar for your supportive help and info on the town. We'll be back.

Neat, modern hotel with great location right next to railway station. Everything works just fine and service is friendly. Can recommend to anyone, especially those who value easy traffic connections.

Epic location attached to the train station! Super convenient from airport to hotel in around 30 mins. Super close to everything in the city center. Also if not busy they allow late checkout till 3! Great experience and staff was super helpful.

Great hotel over the station.

Superb location. It's a 2 minute walk from the train station and is a great base to head to the sights in the city. Staff are very friendly and the rooms are very nice. Definitely would recommend!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Close to everything even on foot. A very good location.

Great place to stay. 2 local supermarkets are very close by. Hot food counters with very good food and prices. Local shopping is just a few minutes walk away. The hotel breakfast is great. Rooms by European standards are huge. Access to bus and train out the front door. Staff are helpful and efficient. The bed comforters are actually too warm — but many of you won't find that a problem…

The service was spectacular. I can't thank the workers enough. Especially the ones that were working the breakfast area. For 3 mornings, the entire area was filled beyond belief but they kept up with everyone's demands and were never rude, or angry. They did everything with a smile. It was incredible. They even opened up the breakfast area 30 minutes earlier so that we could have breakfast before our big event. I am so thankful to the entire staff and crew that took care of us for 10 days. The cleaning crew also did a wonderful job. It was nice to come back to a very clean hotel every day after long activities. Thank you so much holiday inn!

Great location, close to public transport. Got upgraded to an executive room, was quite functional with all amneties. Was a bit small though.

I stayed this hotel to attend conference. Basically, nice and clean hotel. Staffs are very kind. Breakfast seems good. Room is bit small. Sometimes, the they don't clean up room. I am not sure this is the cheap pricing for conference rate reservation.

At first glance, it does not seem like a great spot. But, it is so easy to get anywhere in Helsinki from this hotel. #1) You can't get closer to the trains — super easy and best during cold weather. #2) Virtually everything is walking distance — #3) The rooms seem dated, but, they are actually quite nice and better than other spots of same price. Sure, they might be older, but they are awesome because of this. Quite nice and unique. #4) Breakfast is very nice and quite diverse. Great spot to start the day. In warm weather, the porch is great spot for cup of coffee and watching the city centre. I stay in Helsinki often. I've tried other spots. I really like the location and the rooms have grown on me. Lobby is even nice place to hang out and have a beer. It's my home away from home.

Handy location but a bit dated and basic. Ridiculously expensive but perhaps that's Finland and not the hotel specifically.

The only good thing is the nearest hotel to the train station, don't like the rooms so old and not clean. The staff did not help you.

Very well located with connectivity to train, metro, bus and airport. Direct train and bus to airport. Good decent size rooms, restaurant area and lobby. Very cooperative staff.
