It was really awesome stay over a night here. Breakfast is really good and room is clean and tidy. Bathroom is small which is not very comfortable, but has a tub. Overall this is a nice place to stay for a short period.

Right across the road from central station, very convenient and comfortable. The lift is really slow and small but there is a beautiful stair to use. Was disappointed I didn't get a room with a city view but it was still very nice.

Little outdated structure. Neoclassical style. Good location.

Well situated in the heart of Helsinki, the oldest hotel in Finland, although original location not the current one. Lovely old building. Amazing atmosphere. Rooms are a very comfortable and the restaurant serves the most amazing food. I highly recommend their fish dishes. Easy access to the rest of the city, the airport and the rest of Finland as the central train station is directly opposite.

We arrived on Long Friday 30th March, so it was a bit quiet time in Helsinki. The receptionist welcomed us warmly. The hotel itself represents good old times and nostalgia with elegance. Bar Socis is nice and easy place to have a cocktail or a beer. The service was very friendly and professional. Old photographs on the walls and the music from 20s and 30s take you back in time. Our room was on the top (5th) floor and the view from the window was to inner court. No view then, but on the other hand, no traffic noise either. The room was clean with a comfortable king size bed and a fitted carpet. I would not choose myself a fitted carpet, but I had not asked for an allergy room. The bathroom had a bathtub, wow, so we enjoyed a bubble bath. All rooms do not have a tub for ecological reasons, they told us. The breakfast was abundant, they had even pancakes. I would have liked more fish, gravlax, for example. The porridge that was simmered overnight in the oven was heavenly!

Most excellent hotel close to the city center, service minded staff and very good food. Here the time has stood still and you can walk in the same hallways as Marshall Mannerheim.

Amazing Finnish National Romantism style building, however, needs renovation. Breakfast is so-so. Staff forgets things they promise. Cleanliness is below any standard. But location is superb!

The room table has an endless cheongsam magnet, the mirror is too many, a little spooky, the carpet is old, one hour I will check out, buy a lesson, the network can not see the credibility of.

I really had a wonderful experience staying at this wonderful hotel! Checking in and out was easy and the location is very centrally located because if you are coming from the airport by the train or bus, it is only 10 mins walk to the hotel from the central station. The room is bigger than I expected so I really enjoyed it so much. The staffs were very friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist. She is the same person (I forgot her name though but she was working on 24 December) that checked me in and out and she made a very good impression because she was very friendly and she was all smiley and made me felt so welcomed. If I were to be back in Helsinki again, I will definitely book this hotel again. Kiitos Seurahuone Helsinki!

I was very unhappy with my stay at Hotel Seurahuone this time. I go this hotel several times a year. But regular customer do not seem to be appreciated at all. Each time I have to fill in the full customer information. Customer friendly hotels check each booking to find out if the customer is a returning one and them welcome him/her with a smile and the words: "Great to see you AGAIN! " When I tried to go to breakfast this morning, during about 15 minutes, there was no seat available. Very funny! And when I arrive tonight the room was not made (and I did NOT put any sign saying so on my door. So Hotel Seurahuone stands for VERY LOW service quality! Sad!

Well located, close to station and tram stops. Something old-fashioned. The Finnish bath with small washbasin. You could not regulate temperature in the room.

The hotel is very central and is part of the history of Helsinki, but it is outdated, lacking in maintenance and the cleanliness leaves enough to be desired. The breakfast buffet is a little different.

Where better to stay when visiting Helsinki? This charming unique Finish hotel was the perfect spot to spend a couple of days. Close to the Market, Islands, Parks and many many excellent restaurants. Rooms were clean and comfortable, no AC but even in July/August the nights were cool. To get you started in the morning, the breakfast buffet is a good choice.

Hotel has best days behind. Stained carpets and chairs, damaged furniture etc. Real renovation Jam. Window cloudy. Breakfast nothing special. Cappuccino is chargeable and barely edible. Very central location. Wi-Fi is very good. Would not book it again!

Very dirty. Dust on furniture After 4 days, you could see Radischen. Room was made from a single room to a double room although we had already booked in January. For the breakfast there were only 2 kinds of jams all week. The hotel is not recommended.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, but the hotel needs renovation.

The scariest hotel where I had to stay ever for so expensive money! Rooms tiny, bathroom even tiny total lived off!

Charming olde worlde hotel with some fab decor. My room was not great. Shelves were dusty and bathroom needed a refresh. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would I come back? yes if I got a nicer, cleaner room.

Very old facility, reasonable breakfast, crowded location. For the same money you can get a better hotel in the city center.

Great hotel in a perfect location, just 5 minutes walk from the main railway and bus station and right in the heart of the city. My room was small but perfectly fine. The bathroom was a little too small though meaning putting my knees under the cabinet when using the facilities! Staff all friendly and very helpful — and all seemed to speak perfect English.

For today's standard, in view of the price, this hotel is not recommendable. It has no AC, rooms are very small and very, very hot, TV has nearly only Finish programs if you want something else you need to pay, the hotel takes advantage of guest arriving from far away and asks to pay 15 Euro for early check in (11.00 instead of 14.00) not nice. For the rest its ok, central location, friendly personal and good breakfast but never 4 stars hotel.

Hotel just locates aside railway station, it's very convenient for relocation to other site. There are also many shopping malls and stores around, Staff is nice, room is clean and comfortable.

This hotel was a disaster. It was the most expensive hotel I stayed at during a 2 week trip of Finland (expecting to spoil myself in Helsinki), but it turned out to be the worst. Lesson learned: higher price doesnt equal better hotel. Please be warned that the room is only 14 m2. Some of the pics for this type of room dont reflect this. The bathroom is so small/tight, you can't shower without making the toilet soaking wet as well (no shower curtain). The trash bin was falling apart, the hot water maker was broken (they replaced when asked). No slippers provided. And no way to control the temperature. It was roasting hot when we stayed during winter, but the staff said the only way to change temperature was to open the window. The only pleasant thing about the hotel is the friendly lady receptionist. The hotel itself is too old and rusty be comfortable. Breakfast selection was the worst of all hotels I stayed at during this visit. Simply my biggest regret of the whole Finland trip!
