One of the best hotel I have visitt.

Highly recommend, clean and really nice decor, calm and relax feeling. Service absolutely fantastic, breakfast on top of Helsinki, best location. I have no bad words about this hotel.

I was only eating lunch there so I cant tell about the rooms there. Lunch overall avarage. I had salmon and it was perfectly made, but the potatoes was a disappointment. I think they were a bit too undercooked and the taste was nonexistent. Sauce was pretty good, but unfortanetely it was quite watery kind substabce that didnt guite hold on to any food, it just fell of right away. It was close to a soup broth substance than a sauce. Staff was excellent and professional. Got great info about the building that we saw at the horizon etc.

Very helpful staff with great knowledge of the city. Also great language skills in English so getting directions and advise is made super simple.

Just a visit for an end of holiday meal this time, but have stayed here several times in the past. Really enjoyable meal, good selection of food and drink from the menu with friendly and efficient service. It is expensive, but quality and you can't beat the location. I really like the way that the original 1950s decorations have been retained as a reminder that the hotel was originally built for the 1952 Olympics.

Does not deserve 5 star status as beds were not comfortable and no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Food and drinks in the resultant very high.

Expensive and sadly decorated but well placed in the center.

Close to the train station. The design is not modern but things are satisfactory. Great breakfast at the top floor.

Convenient location, next to the station and the main interesting places in Helsinki. Very antiquated rooms. It's not sketer. But outdated décor. The breakfast is varied and typically Anglo-Saxon, but not of genuine quality. The terrace offers a wide panorama. But it is certainly not of great interest. Being in front of the train station, it is necessary to take into account the traffic, limited but the night feels.

Been here many times. Excellent hotel for business and family stay. Right in the heart of Helsinki downtown.

A nice place. What you'd expect from a hotel like this. I wish their breakfast had more vegetarian options though. Also, their elevator system needs to be upgraded big time. There are only three tiny elevators that fit max 3 people each. With breakfast being on the tenth floor, it's a hassle getting around during rush hours.

Great location you can walk from the train station. Rooms are fine and beds are comfortable. We had a balcony which was nice. Breakfast was the typical buffet but again was nice. Room was clean and quiet.

This hotel is in the middle of everything! And, it shares the building with a mall. Exceedingly clean, great service and good food!

The Hotel is very good and the lousy is very nice. Despite the continuous complaints they did not clean the room or towards the beds. Pesimo. The staff were very friendly and polite. Not to return.

Not only a well-kept hotel, where you can be well a few days in a central location. The best thing for me is the classic design from the 50's, which was lovingly preserved in the house and restaurant. Exceptional for me!

Amazing stay! Had a free upgrade, so the stay was amazing. Sauna is nice and clean, a good way to relax your body after a day of walking Is quite pricy, but rooms and staff are perfect!

I really liked this hotel. I notice that some of the reviews ciritisize the old decoration. In my opinion it is the the original art deco interior from 1952 that makes the hotel stand out from the rest of the crowd. It was build for the 1952 summer olympics in Helsinki. In fact I find it quite surprising that the hotel does not make more out of this. Some information displays about this would have been great.

Great hotel. Very comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast. Only 1small criticism, there were no coffee making facilities in the rooms. Otherwise perfect.

Even if you just visit the rooftop bar for a quick drink and the wonderful view of Helsinki you will still have a great night. The restaurant is beautiful, the food is delicious and the service was polite and efficient.

Had an amazing stay in the most amazing room. The view was breathtaking, the bathroom had a very nice tub (! ) And the beds were to die for. I've never slept better, and I never wanted to leave. If I ever visit Helsinki again, I know exactly where I'll want to stay.

The hotel is OK. A little bit old but well located. The services that the gym offer are reduced but the breakfast and top roof bar are really good.

Ideal location, the shuttle bus from the airport terminates at the train station, which is on the other side of the road from the hotel.
As for the rooms, I've stayed three times and I have always been delighted with the rooms. The restaurant had good food at competitive prices. There are lots of other places to eat in the vicinity.
You are right in the centre of Helsinki, ideal for shopping, sightseeing and socialising.
Not all rooms have tea and coffee making facilities.
I certainly plan to stay again.

Great hotel, great restaurant on the top floor with beautiful panoramic view of the city!

The only good think is central location. The room is small and not so clean. The breakfast is poor. The bathroom has only towels and some shampoo, nothing more, except the iron. No tea or coffee machine. Scandic Simoncetta which is minutes away provide better service. I would not recommend to stay in this hotel.

An independent kingdom of its own. Within the same premise, there are hotel, department store, grocery shop, pub, fast-food restaurant and of course night club. Part of the S-loyalty plan. Airline Finnair's business partner.

Never been there, but I will go there. :)

The proximity to the railway station is very convenient. Good breakfasts. It's a decent room.
