It's a very old (vieja is in its name), charming hostel/hotel, with a lot of character. It's located in the El Centro, on a quite street. The rooms are cheap, but small, with private bathrooms, and you have to run the water a while before it gets hot. The rooms open into an interior courtyard, but its quite, the staff is great.

Excellent hotel, quality, price.

Located in the historic center of the city of Cuenca, this Hotel keeps the colonial infrastructure in its construction. It has a central courtyard as in the old houses and in its contour are located the rooms, both on the ground floor and in the upper.
It has a nice dining room, a small bar and laundry. The annoying thing is that it has no parking for the vehicles.

Not bad,,, cheap $25 a night, one problem, water is not hot, kind of warm. Breakfast is boring. The hot water thing bothered me.

This is my new favorite in Cuenca: $20 a night room with great privacy, Wi-Fi and continental breakfast included. I love the ambience of the old city, which this place exudes. It's also been very convenient for walking to most of the places I go.

It is an old house recovered with great taste for the enjoyment of all those who visit it, part of its careful decoration highlights the watershed traditions and its emblematic places.
It is located in the historic center of the city, close to many points of interest such as museums, handicraft warehouses, cafes, bars and restaurants.
The attention is special and personalized which will make you feel at home and you will always want to come back.

Close to everything, quiet, clean room, pleasant helpful staff, breakfast, great value.
