Very nice, large, clean rooms, with microwave, fridge and coffee machine and TV.

Newly renovated hotel. Spacious room. Very good breakfast with good waffles. Pleasant pool. Friendly and smiling staff. Good situation.

This hotel always good. I don't usually stay at Comfort Inn, but this one is a cut above. Well kept, friendly staff and a nice clean up to date pool, with sauna and work out room. There is fine Italian dining in the same parking lot at Riva. A good selection of other food options within walking distance. Good central location.

Sleeping soundly in the king size bed and comfy room was a superb way to end a spectacular day in the 1000 islands. The location is central, walking distance to the water, restaurants, parks — and brewery! Continental breakfast with make your own waffles, plus an array of toast, bagels, muffins, pastries, yogurt, juices, coffee and fruit to start the day off right. We had a light snack before setting off on a downtown walk, explore the park and sculptures.

Super friendly Staff, extra clean Rooms that are also extremely comfortables! Location Location Location… Unbeatable! That lemon water… Aaaah! Definitely we will come back! Not expensive at all ;)

It's clean and decent. Has a nice swimming pool. The sauna didn't seem to work. But the breakfast is good. The location is great walking distance to the lake.

Very nice hotel for a decent price. Staff are nice and amenities are just fine for the price. Breakfast was included and enjoyable and I would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed being at this comfort inn. Was as little. Procey over the Canada day weekend but they did give me a bit of a discount as I was there to work. The area we had the back door was in a park like setting and no one else around. There is lots of outdoor seating as well. A pool laundry services all of that. You are right by the water in the beautiful downtown district. I loved my stay and. Would have stayed longer if they had not been full for the weekend. Cheers and thank you.

Room felt a little cramped. Everything is new so that was nice. Close to the water. Great place to use as a base to explore the city and region.

Great Hotel, very clean. Staff was extremely friendly. Even suggested a nice pub to have a pint and supper close to the water, just minutes by foot. Manager Shawn was so kind to let us park an extra night, while we went boating to visit and dock at an island overnight. Thank you so much for making our first stay in Gananoque so wonderful. A hotel of the years 70 clean and offering all the comforts. Well on the Deco is dated. But the staff are very friendly and the proximity to the departure of the thousand islands is a plus. Very good value for money. A nice swimming pool and a gym is also available. Not the best in the world but excellent value for money. NB put francophones the practice of English is needed here.

Nice rooms and location is great. Can walk to the boat cruises as well as many shops. Breakfast was good too.

The bed was terrible & the air conditioner was loud. When I explained why we were not staying the second night, the front desk staff told me that it was my fault as I was used to my own bed and it is hard to adjust. No credit was provided and not even a simple we are sorry and we will look into this for you. We moved to the Holiday Inn Express in Gananoque and it was outstanding.

Clean and comfortable, friendly staff. Kids loved the pool and sauna. They do need to change the little pucks of egg at breakfast. Those went in the garbage. Overall a great inexpensive option, central.

Amazing rooms, balcony rooms avail, never an issue. Pool and fitness rooms are great, sauna in with the pool as well. Breakfast was good, a nice selection. Would stay again and will stay again! Never a problem at all.

Located in a quaint town with beautiful sites around. Bedrooms are small and cozy, with usual spread of continental breakfast servings.

Except the room was clean, nothing else is good. The room is not sound insulation, the man who worked for the breakfast was very very rude and bad manner. I did not feel good to stay in this hotel.

The hotel has a great location. We've been able to walk everywhere. It's a couple blocks from the boats and right by the downtown strip of restaurants, etc. The hotel staff is super friendly and breakfast was good. The room was comfortable. The pool is so cold! That's disappointing. All in all, nice place to stay!

Comfortably located close to town and docks. Safe walking distance to both. Free breakfast and convenient parking. Pool is indoors and large.

New hotel, we had a beautiful room with Jacuzzi, king size bed, beautiful bathroom with good shower. The room was perfect, fast Wi-Fi and quiet hotel. We had breakfast which was average, with a good selection of desserts and drinks. Overall … would go back immediately!

I tried to book this hotel today for 2 nights. Sep 24 and 25, 2014 I wanted to use Choice Club points to pay for the room. I called the hotel and verified rooms were available. The hotel clerk said I had to book through their world wide reservation center to use points. I called the 800 number and was told after a long wait that I could not book Thursday Sep 25 with points because the hotel blocked that date. although the web site states NO BLOCKED DATES. I attempted to find a resolution and I even offered to book one night on points and pay for 1 night on the 25th. I was then told I had to book 2 nights and the points night did not count as one of the two nights. Good customer Service does not exist at this hotel from my experience. I thanked the service representative for all his attempts to fix my problem and asked to speak to a supervisor. He said he would connect me. The phone rang forever and no one answered. This is not the kind of service Choice Hotels advertise however as a customer I must say you overstate your service.
