The people here went above and beyond for me. The room was clean. The location was great. Price was decent.

Rooms are tired. Couch needed replaced. Fridge freezer was full of ice and frost. Continental breakfast was a farce. Coffee was disgusting. Loud kids and dogs. Front desk clerk had no idea where the closest LCBO was. I would like to think this wasn't a surprise question. Nope. Won't stay there again.

Dirty bedding, no secure enterance, window sills are dirty and full of dead flys and remote for TV dont work. Do not recommend.

The room was clean, the bed was a little smaller than expected but comfortable. The continental breakfast tasted fresh and they had all the necessary condiments.

I had no shower products or soap for the sink. Overall not a great room. Included breakfast is very basic. Stayed here while on business.

The only problem I had was the towels and bed not smelling clean other then that great room big TV microwave oven and the breakfast in the morning was awesome great stay at the super 8

Went here for dinner. Excellent. For a steak for me.

Was fine for the price. If you're looking for someone to just spend one night just to sleep.

Great service, rooms and location. Very secure and clean rooms with an easy to access site.

Never stayed at the hotel. Only had food at Waggs in the hotel. Good food, also can get takeout.

Fairly clean was not givin the room promised heater very noisy will not use again.

Pillows are no good. Water pressure and temperature is good. Rooms are clean enough for a budget hotel. Contental breakfast that is included is not great, but at least there is one. Room smelled fine.

Good rate and location. Bed was comfortable. Carpets are old and stained. AC / heater didn't work well. Lots of parking although restaurant patrons use designated room spots.

Stayed at this Hotel October 6 & 7, 2017, checked in late that night, the person on the desk which is a man had no name tag on and will not share his name. Person with me he was rude yelling at her, he also yelled at two older customers which where women, he also yelled at a young lady which she had to call the police. I myself would never return back to this hotel, they also need to clean the carpets which where dirty and had a smell to them. I will say he has a problem with women, a person like him should not be working on the front desk.

Stayed at this hotel many times but after my experience here I will never book a room with Sarnia super 8 again. After checking in I went to my room and the second you open the door the smell of sewage hits you. I went down to the front desk and the individual at the desk informed me that there was a recent flood and the carpet got flooded. How could they book a room knowing it had flood damage and the putrid sewage smell. How many more people will they try to give this room to. It's disgusting and unacaptable. Not even a sorry from the front desk.

One night isn't bad but it is a lower end hotel. Could use more renovations. Other than appearance the beds were comfortable and the continental breakfast wasn't bad either.

Good value for the money. The accommodations are a bit run down. The staff is friendly and helpful. Location is awesome, being a block away from the water. Overall we had a god experience, and we rebooked.

Affordable, clean rooms, friendly staff. Use this hotel for work a lot. Never had a problem.

Terrible customer service. At checkout I had the misfortune of dealing with Ravi. When I check in with him 5 days ago I was charged for the stay as well as the deposit on my debit card. I asked him can I pay the bill with my Visa on checkout. He said yes no problem. So when I went to check out this morning I reminded him of our conversation that day and asked if I could pay on my Visa like discussed. He told me no that the transaction was already put through and he couldn't refund me that amount and process it on my Visa because the amount was too large. I reminded him how I asked him when I checked in and he told me he never said that. I told him I'm sure u did because I paid my credit card that day to make sure I could pay for the room on my card because he said it would be fine. I literally did it as soon as I went to my room because of the fact that he agreed I could pay Visa. He continued to say that he never said that. He was very rude and disrespectful pretty much calling me a liar. So I said that's fine just give me back my deposit. He told the other employee that was finishing his shift to give me the deposit and muttered I'll be sure to give u a good review. He then says "you can't threaten me" I replied I can write a review if I want. He then tells the other employee "go check the room make sure he didn't take anything" I was in shock. After pretty much calling me a liar now he's saying to check to see if I took something. This man has no respect whatsoever.

Very good. Hot water. Decent beds. Good value. Service and employees were nice.

Wish breakfast would go later than 9:30.

We had a family reunion planned and we arrived at about ten PM and took what was supposed to be one of their quietest rooms as we requested 2 months before. The first room we were given, room 131 was absolutely filthy to the point of being toxic. It stunk so bad that I had to sleep with a sheet over my head. The carpet was grungy and worn out and the taps had never been cleaned. Totally gross. No screen on the window and the sliders were warped so I couldn't even open them. Basically neglected. It felt like we were sleeping in a doghouse. We complained the next morning and they gave us a new room upstairs which was much better. They said they would fix it but I can't believe they were not aware of it before we complained. Hmmm. Same as always, check the room thoroughly before you accept it.

WORST DAY STAFF CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! My husband and I were going to a wedding in Sarnia and due to circumstances beyond our control we were unable to make it up there. I called a day in advance of our booking to cancel it and the man on the phone was rude and inconsiderate needs a refresher course on Customer Service.

I have stayed at this motel at least 50 times and the rate was always 71.58 per night. But when I phoned today I was told flat out that the rate was now $94! They do have great staff but I cannot afford a $23 hike. This is not the Marriott (which I paid $85 in June). Did they change ownership or something.

When I go to hotels the first thing I obviously look for is how clean it is. This motel was the cleanest I have ever seen.
