Just spent the weekend there and had such an Amazing time! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended staying here!

Don't waste your money. Arcade games are all broken and have been since the last time I stayed 3 months ago. Change machine broken front desk had no change. Did not get the room I specially reserved. Slides at the pool are down and have been forever. Just a disappointment.

The main reason we went was to enjoy time at the pool, the staff left feces sitting around the edges of the pool for more than 30mins. After being notified twice and not doing anything until someone came in contact with the feces, I was never so shocked or sickened, due to health and safety of the hotels guests this area should of been cleaned right away or blocked off with a pilon. It appeared that the staff did not care and thought that it was a joke. The pool ended up being evacuated and the guests lost and hour of swimming. I should at that time requested a full refund of my room, but since it was late we basically had no choice to stay the night and leave in the morning. Will we every stay here again I have to question, our room at least should of been discounted or free for the night. All we were told was sorry. If that enough?

I attended their corporate Christmas Party! Absolutely fabulous job. The food was great the atmosphere beautiful! Thank you for a great start to the holidays!

Way too many horror stories from friends and family. Stolen items, over priced for things that were not paid for. Not recommending this to any one!

Alrjandro is the best atrium maintenance worker I have ever met in my life. He went out of his way to ask about our experience and he takes great pride in his work. ☺️

Kids had a blast here but our stay was awful. Rooms were falling apart — literally — duct tape on towel bar and bathroom door handle falling off, colouring on the walls. The play area was filthy, Cobwebs falling from the ceiling. Thermostat in the room didn’t work and even after complaining no one came to fix it. Staff was rude and inconsiderate these issues were brought up to the manger at checkout who didn’t seem to care. I have a billing issue I am still waiting to be resolved. I’ve left 3 messages for the manger who is yet to return my call a month later.

Very disappointed, service sucks. Had to wait 1 1/2 hours just for breakfast, restaurant ran out of food. Granddaughter vomited in bed and they didn’t even change the sheets, they just straightened the bed. Would never go back.

Roof was leaking and staff were well aware for weeks. They left it this way for March break.

I will never speak highly of this place ever. We booked a joint room and between my friend and myself we were told 3 different prices. Customer service was beyond ignorant, on the way to the hotel I called to see if rooms were ready 1 was. When we got here we were told we have to wait 15-30 mins for our rooms to be done and that they dont know why I was told 1 room was ready. After check in they never told us where our rooms were located on what floor and or where the elevator was. In the pool area they didnt have towels stocked and there wasnt enough chairs or places to sit. This place is a COMPLETE JOKE. Never again will I come here.

Truly, nothing special about the hotel. I did not use the pool/fitness area but it appeared very nice, many young people in area. Nice to have a balcony to sit on and enjoy sunshine. Did not like the very high step in/out from balcony, partner stumbled getting inside room from balcony and had nice purple bruise for several days. A $40 fee for breakfast package was quite a surprise and I did not take it. Really, $40 for 2 breakfasts! Staff were excellent, without these people our stay would have been more unpleasant.

This was my second time staying at this hotel in the past year. I have stayed at many Best Western Plus hotels, and I'm generally quite impressed with them. I was very surprised to find out that this hotel doesn't include breakfast, as I thought all hotels in this brand did. We also asked for a cot when we booked the room and at check in, when it was getting later we asked again, and were told "hopefully we have one left". They did, but that wasn't the response we expected when we had booked it in advance. The rooms were quite small. The pool and activity areas are great for kids. These are the selling features of the hotel — everything else didn't live up to the 'Plus' brand, in my opinion.

Brought my daughter for her 9th birthday party. Had multiple guest and rented 3 rooms. The staff was nothing short of amazing. The rooms where amazing. Price was really good. Nothing bad to say other than should have booked more nights. We'll be going back soon.

Poor experience with this hotel. Stairs were filthy, a previous guest's used sanitary pad beneath the bathroom vanity, (who knows how long it had been there! ) that was still there after our room was 'cleaned' for two days, shortage of food and menu choices. The waitress gave us a limited menu, and refused to show us the regular menu 'because there wouldn't be enough food for all the guests' if we chose from the regular menu. Honestly, we don't eat much! Towels were removed from the bathroom and not replaced. Many of the rooms overlooked the playroom and pool, so no light or view, or privacy because of the sliding doors onto the playroom, or security if that door was used, and it was noisy. The best thing about this hotel was that it was within walking distance to other restaurants and within driving distance to other activities.

Great hotel! Stopped in for one night on our way home from the States. We were pleasantly surprised by the amenities of the hotel. Lots of indoor activities for kids, table tennis, basketball court, climbing apparatus, etc. Nice warm pool with slides, and lifeguards on duty. Friendly, helpful staff! We will be back next summer for a longer stay!

What a great over night get a way! Checked in on a Saturday afternoon and checked out Sunday morning. Breakfast buffet was delicious! Bar staff Saturday night was very friendly and knowledgeable about our drink choices. Pool was clean and we'll kept. Room was clean and view from our 3rd floor balcony was spectacular. Stephanie, (the lady that checked us in and out) was very friendly and very helpful with all my questions. This hotel and the staff exceeded our expectations! We were reluctant to stay because of the previous Pelee Days Inn reputation. We will absolutely be back! Thank you to the staff of the Best Western Leamington for making our overnight adventure a blast! :) Beneteau family.

The location is great and the games area, pool and water slides are a hit with the kids. Have stayed a few times now and noticed consistently that the heating/air conditioning in my room hasn't worked as well as expected. It seemed to be unable to adequately heat/cool. Rooms have been updated some and the beds were decent. I feel the hotel is priced too high for the area and what you get. Unfortunately there aren't many options in the area so I will likely stay again when I return as it's the best option with a family.

I travel quite a bit for work and my hotel chain of choice is the Best Western. I had never stayed at this one before and had no problem booking a room. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, the room was clean and the facilities are very well maintained. I may even change the route on my sales calls to stay here more often.

The staff was extremely accommodating. The grounds were extremely well kept. The atrium houses an indoor playground, a basketball court, ping pong tables, as well as a large pool with multiple water slides. A ton of fun for families! The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. There is no option to rent movies and there are only basic cable options. Wifi was complimentary are was of good quality. Overall our stay at this location was quite enjoyable.

It is amazing. The staff are fantastic and make you feel at home. Plus the bartender, Trudy, is absolutely wonderfully amazing at her job. Best place to go to by far. A great place to have a home away from home.

The games room was a great place to host a family get together! I was so pleased that we could use the empty breakfast area for a sit down place for our lunch and birthday celebration. Also I came with a Dog Guide in training, and we were warmly welcomed. A great visit overall!

Overall an excellent hotel and great indoor playground if you have kids. Having a room on the "indoor playground" side of the hotel was very noisy from morning until night. I did not like the idea of people staring into my room day and night when I had the curtain open. Difficult to get good rest because of the noise. Stayed on parking lot side of hotel last year and this was excellent. Would definitely stay again but request room away from playground side of hotel.

Just disappointing… it’s family day. People want to come here because of the water slide attractions. The rate for checking in on a holiday is higher then a weekday rate which one would assume because of the holiday and that all attractions would be open! We came here because of that. I’ve now heard three other families expressing disappointment at them being closed, they stated they came here specifically because of the water slides. Will never come here again or recommend it to a friend or family member. Hard working families deserve to get their money’s worth. Super disappointed.

We had a fabulous time here. The water park/pool water was warm and the kids (7&5) rode the slides over and over again. The playground space was huge and the rooms were spacious, comfortable and quiet (on the outside on the building). Lots of parking and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Reservations were made online through the best western website January 1 for three rooms with requests for connecting rooms or rooms next door to each other and that the rooms be located on the first floor close to the play equipment. January 2 I called the hotel to ensure that all three rooms were on the ground level and connecting and/or beside each other and was assured we would get exactly what we were requesting. February 5 I once again called the hotel to confirm all the details. At that point I was told that they were not able to give us rooms on the first floor as those rooms had to be booked different than how we booked them. When I expressed my disappointment in the lack of service she was able to guarantee (given that I had already been told something that wasn’t coming true) me she suggested I just cancel the reservation. Feb 10 we arrived at the hotel and we received our three rooms numbers we noticed that, we were on third floor and we did not have connecting rooms. When we questioned the woman at the front desk she told us we booked the wrong room type and since we booked online they couldn’t do anything to help us. Our rooms were located at the farthest point away from all the kid friendly activities that this hotel offers (which we had noted in the original reservation and the first phone call that we wanted to be near). We had to drag our luggage and kids up three different sets of stairs to find our rooms.

Stayed here for one night. The hotel is nice. The interior is new and updated. My room was immaculate and the pillows are so soft. This hotel is out of town so I appreciated the quiet atmosphere. The hotel staff were amazing. I have to say I was extremely impressed with the service and friendliness of all the staff I encountered. Michelle was the staff member at the bar and I thought she was amazing. So friendly and she kept me company while I ate dinner. Which is a big deal when you travel by yourself all the time. It was nice to have human interaction! The facilities are nice even though I didn't use them. Looks like a great place for families with a pool and waterslide. Next time I'm bringing my bathing suit.

I've been twice. The first time wasn't the best experience as the roof was leaking, water slides were closed due to maintenance and air conditioning was broken but they accommodated us to have another stay. The last time we went it was much better but the pool was closed the first night for some reason so there were a million kids in the play area. The indoor playground is great but parents continue to get wasted while their kids trample young toddlers. I think the next time we go it will be when our son is a little older. Other than that the rooms are nice, clean and the service is great.

This was our 5th time here. We have been 2 times now since Best Western took it over from Day's Inn. The last time they were not completely finished with the renovations. We were very impressed with all that has been done. This was our 1st time staying on the 3rd floor outdoor balcony room. We WILL book this room again. It was by far the most quite part of the hotel. It is nice to stay on the main floor for the kiddos to run in and out of the room. Of course the noise comes with that room. We have also stayed on the 2nd floor over looking the atrium. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. I wish I could take them home!
My only complaint was that the change machine was not working and the front desk ran out of loonies for the small arcade. Be sure to bring loonies and don't count on getting change at the hotel if you want your kids to play at the arcade. We planned on spending $20-$30 on games and were lucky to get $15 in loonies. A great night stay for a family. I can't wait to go again.

Rather unhappy with the temperature in the entire hotel. With the exception of our room, the whole place was fridgid. Room was ok, but come on. Almost a packed house and no heat…

The play area is freezing! 59 degrees! The staff lie and tell you the heat will raise and it’s a big space when clearly the furnace is not working! We can’t use the pool because it’s so cold.

I realize the temperature was cold outside. But play place was extremely cold. Play place was dirty, garbage everywhere. No towels in pool area. On the positive side, rooms were clean. Don't waste your money here. Go extra distance to London Best Western Lamplighter Inn. Light years ahead in almost everything.

Bed was very comfortable. Rooms and (paid) buffet breakfast were good. 2 years in a row staying here I've had problem with room. Last year room had previously flooded and had 2 dehumidifiers still running. Smelled bad replacement room was good. This year room had no heat. Tried everything but furnace wouldn't work. Room hot down to 16 degrees Celsius. Kids were shivering all night. As with this type of hotel, it's loud until 11 pm with guests playing in great atrium space.

Our stay started off great for the first night. Second day we went to the pool and I had taken my 3 year old up to the slide and was told I need a wristband which we were never told when arriving that we needed to pay 10 dollars for each kid per night on top of what we already spent for the room. I then had to walk up to the front desk soaked with a hand towel from pool to cover me as I walked up to front desk freezing since its cold out. Also the second day we went out to eat because they do not offer a continental breakfast and when we got back our key did not work for the room and we had to drag a 6 and 3 year back and forth 3 times. We were on second floor which is a pain to get to the play area and back to tour room since there is no close bathroom when your 3 year old has to go. Front desk girl was sweet when I complained and handled my issue better than the manager. Manger just wanted to move me away from front desk because I had complaint and did not want others to hear me. Not overall impressed!

I haven't stayed here, but we've had birthday parties here. The facilities are excellent with a large meeting room, large play equipment, pool with 2 small waterslides pool table, table tennis and a small arcade. Food is good. Staff is very friendly for the most part (would have given 5 stars if it hadn't been for the lady booking our most recent birthday party who had a bit of a grumpy fit at one point. Maybe just having a bad day). The lobby area is nice and wide open and the whole place had been renovated very nicely.

We held our daughters wedding at Best Western Plus in Leamington. They catered everything from the rehearsal dinner the wedding ceremony, reception and a breakfast the next morning. Many of our guests stayed over night. Everything turned out beautifully The weather was perfect, the venue was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our guests. The staff were very attentive and accommodating during the planning stages and were there for us all throughout the evening. A beautifully renovated facility that we were unaware of until recently. Only negative was the fact that the air conditioning units were not working in some of the rooms, however, who would expect that we would need air conditioning in October in Leamington.

Best Western Plus Leamington was the perfect venue for my October wedding! They have a gorgeous backyard with several choices for an outdoor ceremony to take place — we chose the bridge overlooking the marsh which is led up to by a winding stone path for the aisle. All our guest were able to stay on site and enjoy the wonderful amenities provided. The monarch room transformed beautifully for our reception and the staff were incredible at helping us decorate and accommodating all our requests. All my guest were thrilled that everything was on site and blown away by the hotel itself.

Great location and lots of amenities. Was very good or school groups. Gym could have more equipment available but the games/activity area is great for kids. Make sure you ask for a room away from basketball court.

We stayed at BW Leamington Plus this week. The first night the air conditioning did not work so we switched hotel rooms. The second room had a strong smell of sewer gas in the washroom. We had ;our newborn son with us and had too much stuff to move rooms again. May have had just really bad luck with this stay, I travel a lot and these are concerns that are just not acceptable. The area is very nice and Point Pelee is great. We were offered a free breakfast because of the issues but had to get going so weren't able to take advantage.

We paid so much money only for the water slides to not be on, buckets on the play floor because of leaks in the ceiling, there seemed to be just one cleaning lady and while she was pleasant by 6 pm rooms should be done being serviced not me chasing someone down for bedding. Also things didn't get refilled like toilet paper, some of the machines didn't work and there wasn't many to choose from, etc etc etc. We paid almost $900 Canadian for worse service then we would have gotten at a cheap motel. And the side doors don't work and aren't secure so anyone can get in and out without a key card! I had to go to get toilet paper from the front desk, ask to have garbage taken out and such and always felt like I was chasing people down or finding a new game machine not working or vending machine sold out. Plus the soda we did get was so old and flat from the front, the Vanilla Coke. Not a good stay at all. The only saving grace was how pleasant the staffs attitude was, but it wasn't enough for us to want to be around again. So much money for so little. Add in a not working bathtub, barely working shower and all the water stains. I'd say skip it and pay for a cheaper hotel up the street.

Rooms and atrium area are very nice and it was great to have that area for the kids. Pool area was not that great and we weren't told anywhere online or at check-in that the slides didn't operate during the week at all. Some of the rock tiles in the pool area were growing algae and it looked like the whole floor needed a good cleaning. My daughter also got stung by a wasp in the pool area. Rooms were nice and beds were comfy. Also disappointed by the fact there was no breakfast included. Staff was wonderful and friendly.

The hotel and rooms were very clean and bright. Staff were very friendly. Lighting in the rooms and bathroom could have been better — it was challenging to find a good spot to get ready for a wedding. The breakfast buffet was well maintained and reasonably priced. There are many other amenities, but we didn't access them on this stay.

Hotel was great, we've stayed here a few times now and it's always been very good. The whole play area is what makes this hotel, really good for families. The bed is comfortable, pullout sofa, not so much. Breakfast took way too long, 45 minutes for a couple of pancakes and eggs is not good. We will be coming back, for sure.

Hi, So I will start off that this hotel was "OK". We were referred from other people in our city, to try this Hotel out. So my family made the hour and a half trip there. We started off with point Pelee National Park which was amazing, we then checked into the hotel which at first the staff were super friendly. When checking in, she said our room was on the 1st floor, which I thought was odd, when I booked it, it was with a balcony, but after being gone all day, I just wanted my family to get settled in. The room was very warm, so I adjusted the temp on the ac and the fridge had food in it from previous guest. Add, the fridge wasn't even cool, so had to adjust the temp of that as well. The evening went on, and it's great you have the kid area for kids, but in the arcade section, there were no prizes left for my kids to try and win, and everything cost money, even to have a basketball to play on the court. After checking this area out, decided to take the kids to the pool. We noticed a sign saying we needed to shower before and after the pool, so, we did just that and in the shower area, the smell was akin to raw sewage. Not pleasant at all. After the family was done, there were no towels left to use so thank goodness I brought some from our room. Getting back into our room at the end of the night, noticed the temp of the ac didn't budge, giving it time, I thought for sure it would of when we got up in the morning. And it didn't. Very uncomfortable to sleep.

I have been visiting Point Pelee Inn for 25 years, way back in my Calgary days to the present time though, now living in Toronto. I am an avid birder & often in the past would drive all the way from Calgary for the incredible birdsongs in the summer. Those days were filled with fantastic bird sightings. But changes were coming. The Best Western has gone from modest to spectacular. I cannot think of any hotel that I like better for cleanliness, friendliness & courtesy. The combination is perfect—exquisite comfort and the music of birdsong which is Paradise for me. No wonder — I am a concert pianist!

Very Comfortable hotel. Ideal for families with children and lots of amenities to choose from. Be aware that the room air conditioner is noisier than average and if you switch off and open the window your neighbor's unit is guaranteed to keep you awake all night. Modern TV set, if you have the desire to use it, is connected to cable however apparently no one is aware that they use the "Analogue System" rather than the latest Digital Signal which the Canadian Government decreed 10 years would be the default setting. The difference blurred picture and smaller section of channels. When checking out look for the "Resort Tax" $5.22 per day on your bill, which might come as a surprise.

The over all experience was good. I was expecting top-notch cleanliness and was a bit disappointed in the entrance and lounge area. The staff was friendly and helpful during both check-in and check-out. The rooms were very clean and updated. Our air conditioner did not work well so our room was very warm making it hard to sleep.

The hotel is really interesting for young families by cons the common areas are cold, the stairs are not heated and the pool could be hotter. It is a very good place to go with a couple of friends and party there. The rooms are well renovated and clean. The service was perfect.

Great resort. Visited for a weekend in June and toured the area. Just myself and my boyfriend. Stayed in a King room. Very clean and comfortable, but most importantly very quiet too! Breakfast was delicious, very reasonable price. Recommend Visiting freddys for dinner. A little pricey but amazing food. Very satisfied with our stay!

The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Great amenities offered. The pool was a blast with the water slide and there were so many activities to partake in. However the pool slide is only open from 8:30am to 10:30 am and reopens at 2:00pm We were uninformed of this and it ruined our day. Not a great system to people/families staying multiple nights. The buffet was overpriced for subpar and cold food. When we ordered off of the menu the food didn't come close to matching the description! It was a big let down and we decided to eat elsewhere from now on. Overall, it is a fun place if you don't mind scheduling your day around their bizzare hours and eating outside of the hotel.

Rooms are great! Clean and wonderfully friendly staff! Food was… ok, was disappointed in the quality of the buffet, so we ordered off the menu. What we ordered was basically the same quality but even worse the food was not as described. Did use the bread it stated, nor was the food at the temperature it advertised. The rec room area and pool are amazing! Was was disappointing here are the hours of the pool slides. They are only open on the weekends AND the slide is only open from 8:30-10:30 then from 2-10pm. This does not make it very conducive for people looking to get away for a week and have somewhere that their kids can really enjoy themselves. Management says they close to the slides from 10:30-2:00 bc people won't leave otherwise. This can be managed in other ways. For example put a higher hourly rate for those asking for a late check-out if you must. Closing the slides on folks that are paying for many days, especially when it is only open for the weekend to begin with seems to be an unwise business decision. My days off are during the week. We wanted to book a family "weekend" there but once we found out the slide is closed, we cancelled. I am very happy that Leamington has such a facility available, however, I do hope that the food quality and the slide situation is reconsidered.

We booked this hotel for a soccer tournament. We were incredibly impressed with the hotel's location, amenities, and warm hospitality that was provided to us. Two staff members, Samuel and Wendy, were very accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend staying here.

We have been coming for years. Just spent New Year's Eve here. The renovations are amazing. Bright and friendly entry. The rooms are beautiful. Lots to do for the kids. The staff are friendly. Hope you bring back a hot tub for the adults. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. We love it.

Excellent set up for kids sports teams. Lots of space for them to unwind. Lots of activities (basketball, badminton, climbing gym etc) Pool with 2 waterslides were great for all ages. Attached restaurant was decent, convenient and well priced.

Wendy really brought her game! She was more than helpful and uber accommodating. From the time we called to check into the hotel to the time we left she really made us feel welcome. We will come back for the hotel and to see her. The lifeguards were great too.

The review summary needs to be updated; This is a beautiful facility as the renovations are being completed. I felt happy and refreshed just walking into the lobby. The finest materials have been used: granite countertops, Grohe faucets and LED in the rooms. Lovely. This is a family oriented place, but our room was quite sound insulated and all the play places close at 11pm so it was very quiet after that.

We didn't findo it worth the price. The pool was cloudy and thr water felt really dirty. The pool room was cold as well as the water (in April). They didn't have any vending machines and are charging $2 for a can of pop from their "market". They claim to have frew high speed Wi-Fi but I ended up using my data thr entire stay because their Internet was so slow and it kept kicking me off. It was too slow to even run Netflix on the iPad for the kids. We also brought our android box with us to watch a movie at night with the kids and it wouldn't work on their "high speed" Internet. For $150/night plus $10 for the kids to use the water slides, I expected more of a modern hotel. We definetly won't be going back.

Very cheerful and helpful front desk. Housekeeping responded to request for bedding within minutes. All staff we came in contact with represented the brand very well.

Receptionist who checked us in on Sunday night was extremely helpful and polite.

The girl who checked me in was very pleasant and helpful. She started off my vacation with my family in a great way.

Beautifully renovated hotel. From the rooms, food, entertainment and pool for our children. Everything was wonderful!

We choose to have my daughters 12th birthday at Best Western Plus on Bevel Line in Leamington. We choose it because of the water slides but fell in love with the comfortable stylish room, that we stayed overnight to enjoy a restful sleep. The staff was helpful and friendly. All our needs were meet during the Birthday Party and my wife and the children really appreciated all the special perks and that were complimentary extras that set this visit as one of the best hotel experience. I recommend it for the water slides and the sleep over's.
