Been a guest here several times over the past 20years. Always enjoyed my stay and the breakfast has always been superb.

Super nice rooms and good breakfast.
I can only recommend it.
Very friendly people work there.
Also great for a longer stay.

Everyone that works there is super friendly and nice. Decent bang for your buck with the rooms. Nothing fancy but it did the trick! Wi-Fi was pretty bad and our door was picky but otherwise great place. Would stay there again. Michelle who works there is awesome.

Odd place. They lock the single door into the hotel at midnight and ask that you be in by then. They issue regular keys that only unlock your room. The room I had was upstairs; I had to go from the front door all the way to the end of the building, up the stairs, and then all the way back to the front of the building. Needless to say, after a long motorcycle trip, I didn't go after the things I forgot to bring in. They did offer breakfast, but I don't eat breakfast so I can't comment on it. In sum: decent place but it wasn't worth the price for me. I booked online at the last minute so couldn't cancel without paying.

Great quite place to rest and the girls that made breakfast were very friendly and made your eggs anyway you wanted them. The room was very clean and bathroom was set up with what you needed.
The only thing that I thought was a bit wierd is that they lock the front door at 12am and I was told if I leave before 7 that I would be locked out.

I booked a room for Rog and Keith, traveling from Colorado to Alaska, while they were on the road. Kim was very helpful and assured me there would be room for their big load to park. In the evening Michelle went out of her way to be sure they parked in the best spot for the night. They had a good night sleep. They were taking their bags out to leave early in the morning before the breakfast area was open. Liz saw them from the kitchen and offered to make them breakfast. They were very impressed! A big thank you for your friendly hospitality!

Didn't shovel the snow from the driveway for me. But they are really friendly staff. The rooms are okay. I love the dinning room area (very charming), which is my favorite part about the hotel.

Racism is not welcome! Nor to be a standard when dealing with any race! Do not recommend this place at alllll unless you like to be demeaned for your race!

Very nice staff unfortunately it is very out dated the bed was so hard and old plus the shower head would not open all the way so most of the water ran down the drain and filled the tub instead. It was clean but I need of maintenance. For the price we both left with very sore backs and no sleep. They did serve a breakfast for the $120 with taxes.

Great breakfast, lovely staff, very comfortable bed, clean room and even a transfer to the airport! Couldn't have asked for an easier or more pleasant stay.

We were happy to find this motel while in Smithers because it was quite clean and the staff was friendly. However, I was disappointed to discover that they had the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE mattress I've ever slept on in my life, the shower drain was clogged so we were forced to shower in other people's filth AND the free breakfast was DISGUSTING. Honestly, I'd rather pay $100 to sleep in my car rather than stay there again!

This place caught my attention when I was at Tourist Information, with a feeling that it was a bit out of the normal time steam. They are cycle friendly as they gave me a secure place for my trike. The breakfast are excellent with your eggs cook to order. I really liked the staff. It is located very close to downtown Smithers.

Great place to stay! Beds are very comfortable. They serve a full breakfast too.
We come through twice a year and always stay here. Walking distance to Main Street shopping and food. Great location.

Great base camp for adventure — simple but clean & good breakfast. As there is so much to do here ask Brian Hall (owner) about amazing ski touring and fly fishing — quiet too!

Absolutely the cleanest, neatest, best kept motel we were ever in. Hosts were wonderful. We will never pass up the Stork Nest Inn when traveling through BC. You cannot go wrong.

We entered inquiring about the rates and was told very clearly the price. It was already above what we had (very strict budget), but we were excited about the tub with jets in our room and the steam room, which ended up being smelling awfully moldy. As weary travelers we were excited about a shower, but the curtain kept attacking us as the shower was not vey large. We filled up the tub, turned on the jets, and black junk flew all about. The breakfast was good in the morning, but as we checked out, they had charged another 10 dollars to our stay, claiming the girl last night was new. Wish we had continued checking around.
