DO NOT STAY AT THIS DUMP! This filthy motel and low class, ill-mannered management are a perfect reflection of that disgusting white trash/redneck filled city of Medicine hat. Just keep going on to the next hick town.

Friendly people honest business rooms are clean and everything works good sized rooms.

Most affordable place to stay in town. Owners are very nice people, very caring. One of the few places that allows dogs to stay (all sizes). Free Wi-Fi.

I understand it was a low cost budget motel but it was dirty, heat didn't work right cause it was either hot or cold. The list of kitchen stuff in the room was not complete. The smell of cannabis wafting around was interesting. The ice machine was broken. I went for breakfast but left when I noticed milk just sitting on counter and very little options. We prepaid for two weeks and our circumstance changed and we only needed the room for two nights and we were told we would not get any money back. The manager was pretty forward with us on that because we were given such a good deal. Will never be returning.

The room was not very clean, yellow stains down the bathroom wall, smelled like stale cigarettes, light bulbs burnt out and no shades on lights. I could go on and on.

It is ok if you are looking for an inexpensive place to just crash. Don't let the name fool you, there is no sun deck. Rooms are plain and contain the bare basics expected of a motel room. Located right along highway 3 when you come into town (or are leaving) by the airport.

Maintenence guy cant fix a TV, was very rude and room was dirty. Not worth the money being paid. Go elsewhere!

Heaters don't work… I asked to change the room and was told I should put towels under the door so I don't get cold air in the room.

Bad service, loud and noisy. Alot a sirens in the night. They go thru your room and your things. When your either not there or they think your not. Let start with and I warn you. This is a bit of a long review. It was that bad. You walk in smells like cat pee. Walls are dirty and scum is still stuck on the bath tub… With in 3 days their lazy fat manger/cleaner guy completly skips your room. You to the point where you have to go in just for toliet paper. Also be warn they watch your every move because there wii fii is connect to their roture. You would think after between 2 rooms one staying a month and the other 2 weeks better service would be a must. When someone is putting down over 2000 you thing youd at least get your room vacummed… You dont even get break fast unless you only stay 1 night. I think their motto is stay for the day, then go away! Only reason I pick this dumb was that they allowed my dog to stay… However not before they ridicule you and judge you. But once you get past their large fee and their half speaking voices. Well then they go away. Leave the rest of your stay to the other live in guy where im not sure what he even does but sleeps. You also must be aware you are not allow to have anyone in your room or badically are allowed to leave it past the late hour of 10pm. We were hanging out because we missed the sign and we were accused that our friend was starting fist fights. Yet we never met the guy in our life.

Room smelled very bad and was not all that clean. Ok for a quick sleep. I guess what can you expect for 60 bucks.

Pretty expensive monthly rates for a very mediocore room. Noisy. Sketchy. Not the cleanest.

Classic sun bleached motel. Our shower was broken, bathroom fan was broken, A/C was broken. All important things to a comfortable stay in a desert during the summer. That being said, the room was Clean and the motel was nice and quiet, even near the highway.

Everything was great. Very polite and nice person. Clean room and breakfast was okay. Good Wi-Fi as well.

The manager is very accommodating, location is nice, close to restaurants. The room was perfect for what we needed.

It's was perfect for the price. Free breakfast. And if you need a place to stay for a week. Or more. They have deals. 1 week for 300. Pretty good if u ask me.

Clean Rooms, pet friendly. Many recent improvements. A Nice visit. Great service.

The people were nice plus they treat you better that you would probably be treated anywhere else I needed a place to stay cause I'm out of work and would be sleeping in my car if they wouldn't have let me stay till I get my next pay check most wouldn't do that for anyone It's a very welcoming atmosfear.

Stayed for 1 night on way from lake louise to brandon. Motel offered value for bucks, friendly courteous staff, nice breakfast and clean rooms.

Simply very good. Affordable price with excellent service. Value for money.

While the SunDeck motel may not be new and fancy schmansy, it was clean and homey. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the rooms are roomy, and the people were wonderful and friendly. We had everything we needed and as far as the bang for your buck, I don't think anywhere else in Medicine Hat could compare. Super fancy with a super fancy price tag couldn't have given us more comfort than what we enjoyed at the Sun Deck.

Room is small and smells of perfume. Not good if one is allergic.

New owners unprofessional when dealing with issue. Example: First room 117 given to me. My dog instantly jumped on the bed and started sniffing. I pulled back the bed spread and revealed disgusting used sheets that havent been changed since the last orgy in that room. I took pictures When I brought it to managements attention and asked when the last time bedding was changed she said 2 days ago and they were clean. She argued and insisted I was lying but she will give me anothe room, 112, which was clean. 2 days later the manager started harrasing me about the incident with the owner and said I was lying, until I told him I took pictures and asked if he would sleep in someone elses dirty cumshotted sheets? He was speechless and I checked out. Never Again! CHECK YOUR BEDDING ALWAYS! Note: I stayed at this motel previous on 2 diff occassions and it was always good… not now with the new owners.

I am coming back Nothing but positives for us staying here. The best thing was the parking close to the door and pet friendly, this was what I needed. Excellent Breakfast was a bonus.

Value for Money Good value for your buck. Price was reasonable. Room was nice and clean — the staff was very nice and we enjoyed the breakfast.

Clean Quiet and Affordable A very well maintained motel. All staff very congenial & helpful. Looking forward to my next stay.
