Worst Ramada I've been to. Seems very run down with a lot of shody construction and renovations. Hot tub and sauna were not working. Night desk attendant was wearing jeans and a t-shirt and the morning desk attendant was wearing clothing you would expect to see at the Calgary Stampede. The man who checked me in at around 10:30 pm was the only employee who seemed professional. The back parking lot was also completely full, even though I was told to park there, so I had to park in a no parking space with maintenance supplies littered everywhere.

The staff was friendly. The room clean and the grounds well kept. The hot tub and sauna were amazing!

The staff are very nice and the complimentary breakfast was adequate. The hotel is run down and not nice at all. The bathroom let the room down completely, it smelt very bad, very damp, needs updating, desperately. The beds were not so good, very soft and room layout organised very badly. This was nothing like how it was sold and advertised. As pictures show not a pleasurable stay.

Loved it! Sheets smelled fresh, breakfast was great and people were wonderful.

Very friendly staff and a good effort of cleanliness. Old rooms with various out of date everything. Breakfast was clean but very limited. Easy access. Good for a quick stay but don't expect much more.

Arrived at The Ramada in Medicine Hat, AB 2018/06/08, hotel is similar to an Econo lodge. Rooms are ok with dated furnishings, fine if just passing through and stopping for a night or two.

The management was nice but the room was disgusting. Went to put the extra fleece on but it was covered in orange and white crusty stains… so just thought won't use that and try not too complain, but then we flipped our main bedding over in between the top sheet and fleece, and there was white stuff on those ones.

This hotel offers clean rooms but a very dated building. I found the tiles in my bathroom falling off the wall, but I can see the cleaning staff try hard. The room seem spotless or at least a spotless as they can be. Be warned if you are facing the highway it is pretty loud here. The login breakfast area are impeccable. When I visited the Hot Tub & Sauna were not available. The pool was open and usable.

You get what you pay for. Rooms are nice, breakfast was good. The common areas need a good renovation. Carpets old rundown and smells awful. For the price its more than adequate though.

Location kind of sucks as it is right beside the highway (maybe 20 feet, ) the section I was in appears to be getting a massive renovation which it desperately needs and is nice to see. Overall it needs some improvement but I've also seen it much worse.

I was very pleased with my room. The owner was very friendly. Room was clean and looked very nice definitely worth the 80$.

Pretty standard hotel. The trees in the pool area are dead. Bad look.

Decent complementary hot breakfast, good parking. Older building cold in the hallways when it's cold outside, and hot water took a minute to get to the room. Very quiet and comfortable for the price! Also very close to the Hospital.

Small comfortable room with balcony overlooking parking area. Close to restaurants, shopping and the Canalta Centre, home of the Medicine Hat Tigers. Free breakfast with pancakes, eggs and sausage. Lots of construction workers stay here. I enjoyed my stay.

Nice place too stay, more than 5 restaurants in walking distance and a liqour store, and convenience store.

Lots of renos have been done … clean reasonable pricing.

My friend Bob the manager treats all his gueast with the highest quality that I get when I stay there good service all the way.

The actual stay wasn't that bad. My issue is the "deposit" of $150 that they charged my credit card. I have not been to a Ramada before that has not used a pre-authorization to retain a security deposit until here. So they actually charge your card. Several days later, I had to call to request them to refund the deposit as they had "forgotten. " Now instead of an automatic release of funds when using pre-auth, there's a 14 day hold on processing of a refund. Our company was recently sent an invitation to stay at this location, and quite frankly, I'd rather choose one of the many nearby choices over this place during our next stay in Medicine Hat.

Good price and breakfast included. Need to clean better the doors.

After calling to ask about our upgrades (diamond member with wyndham) I was laughed at and hung up on by front desk. We called wyndham and they took care of everything. When we arrived at the hotel, we were treated much better. Room was good (dust in corners) bed was comfy. The breakfast area was dirty and gross and the breakfast staff was filling the food while wearing her outside jacket and texting on her phone. The pool area had old newspaper in the corner and just looked like it needed a serious update. Thankfully we have been staying at a variety Ramada across western Canada and have had way better experiences!

Very close to good food (the garage), cheap, clean and quiet. Pet friendly. Next door to food and gas. Perfect travellers hotel.

Owners are amazing — kind, thoughtful! Beds comfy, breakfast was excellent — we will stay there again.

Looks crappy from outside but the rooms have been renovated recently and are very clean. Our room had a mini stove Nd a full size fridge. They even supply plates and pots. Breakfast was good. Nothing too fancy but it was a hot breakfast, sausage, eggs, toast and pancake. Price was very good.

Relaxing Atmosphere, new comfortable beds, clean pool, hot tub, sauna, nice hot breakfast 1st thing in morning. Very enjoyable.

Nice, budget hotel. New carpets, oak hard wood ceiling in the rooms, large flat panels LCD TV with premium cable service, tasteful room furniture, and a decent fitness center and pool area. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Staff is pleasant and friendly. This is my new favorite place to stay in Medicine Hat. Nothing fancy just a really good price and a great place to stay.

Outside looks are deceiving. Small room but updated. Very nice, clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and polite.

Not too bad I though from the outside look it would be a shitty hotel but ita not.

It has been almost 10 years since my exwife and I stayed there but the bitter taste remains. It had recently been sold and converted to a Ramada. It was a huge disappointment. After that weekend, we began using one of Ramada's competitors when we stayed in Medicine Hat, Ab. It was a much newer hotel, the staff were friendlier and the rooms cleaner. I would not stay at the Ramada in Medicine Hat again. I would rather sleep in my truck.

The staff were wonderful, they went the extra mile to accommodate my nocturnal work schedule. The room was small but had been recently remodeled and the furniture had been updated. The indoor pool was heated and the hot tub had a "massage" setting that was amazing enough that I spent an extra night to enjoy. The pricing was more than reasonable, I was really surprised upon check out at how little they charged me.

Traveling with family on Western vacation, booked online, didn't get what we expected. Rooms (we took 2) were stale, fixtures and furnishings were old; place generally had ambiance of truck stop hotel. Would have found other lodging, even after arriving at 10 pm if rooms were not prepaid. I'd stay there again only if there was no choice. Seemed to have two wings, with different standards of rooms. We prepaid sight unseen, and got bad rooms.

I've stayed in almost every hotel in Medicine Hat, avoiding this one because of bad reviews. The reviews are all wrong! The rooms were perfectly clean, and for my 4 stays I never had a single issue. There were no unpleasant smells, no unpleasant sights, and everything was perfect! It seems that people who don't get everything they want get whiny when things don't go their way perfectly, or something goes wrong during their stay. This hotel has the best rates in town, and is fairly high quality! I got more amenities at this hotel for free than I could ever pay for at other hotels. The breakfast was EXCELLENT and filling, and the fitness center and sauna were nice touches. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel.
