If you stay here a MUST is to go to the "green room" As soon as you open the doors… BOOM urine smell. The first thing you see are the open door washrooms. My god I almost choked… me and a buddy walked right out. I didnt stay the nite (but paid) … literally went across the street… spent 35 bucks more. Smart move… had a pool… hot tub… nice bed… bacon for breakfast. Locals rent the rooms and they are high class, drunks and whatever else drugs they are on. If you dont believe me check out the "green room" and the non smoking rooms… LOL.

Staff are very nice. Rooms with kitchenette are best. 2 floors but no elevator.

Such a dive I think it's gotten worse then five years ago.

Friendly Staff and Cheap place to stay — If Your Respectful, Positive Have Valid Id and Enough Money … If you Don"t and are into Crime, Drug's, Scamming or Mooching and Full of BS — Get lost, stay away and maybe get help and get a life — Become Useful Too Your Self & Society … You Deserve It — Then hey I am sure the staff will be friendly, helpful and let you stay!

The best food and very good service, we were 15 at one table and not a hitch.

The Park Lane Hotel in motel is located in Medicine Hat with a very friendly front counter staff but the minute you go to the liquor store side or you talk to the maid services or anybody else other than they are and basically don't want to take any more time than they have to with you I would have to say that that place is probably one of the dirtiest nastiest pieces of garbage places I've ever visited.

I went to the Chinese restaurant that was just on the main floor and the food wasnt all that good, the decor was lousy and the location was a bit grungy. I wouldn't go back again.

Not a fancy place to stay but reasonable prices, clean rooms and helpful staff!

I play vlts in green room and order food from restaurant. Fast, friendly service.

Decently priced nice rooms, cool bar and lounge downstairs with pool tables, darts and vlts.

Pet friendly and smoking rooms. Clean rooms. Microwave small coffee maker mini fridge. Good continental breakfast. Could be cheaper but reasonable considering…

Had to drive a short distance to another nearby motel that, I guess, is owned by the same people to check in. Go to the check in counter around 10pm. The man at the front desk complains the entire time because he just put the cash box up. He hands us the key and tells us our room number. Drive back to the motel and go into the room. There's a man in that room already who was not happy we barged in. We drive back to the front desk and tell the guy that he put us in a room that is already being used. He freaks out and leaves us stranded at the counter while he talks to his coworker. They put us in another room. The room smells odd and is dirty. The curtains have stains and the remote didn't work. We tried to use the Wi-Fi but it didn't work (I really needed to use it since I'm American and my phone only works with Wi-Fi there). We called three times and the front desk never answered. Would never recommend to anyone. The fridge was cold though.

I have got to say it was the worst stay of my life. First of all the room I was in smelled really bad, the bathtub was falling apart and the floors in the washroom were dirty looks like no one has every cleaned in the corners before, second the bed kept moving around, sure enough when I looked the darn thhing was broken. Lastly I wa there for two nights and I wasnt sure if where I parked was still part of the hotel/motel so my boyfriend went and asked. I was standing right there and the night lady at the front desk was rude and treated him and I both like we were stupid. I work at a hotel as well, and honestly when we are sold out I usually send them there, I was wrong to do so. I have never seen a lady so grumpy in my life. I will never be going back there, hotels are an escape for me, a place where I can forget about home, this just made me want to go back home.

Sevice must change.

Best value we saw on a road trip in August. Staff were pleasant. Clean rooms.

I stayed here recently and found myself in a semi clean room with a broken remote. Also I didn't have a microwave in my room as advertised on the sign. When I called to receive a microwave the maintenance man seemed a bit angry about the whole thing. All in all you get what you pay for. $39.95 senior rate. My wife and I may not stay there again. The ramada down the street seemed nice.
