The rooms are quite large and clean. Staff very helpful and helped us change to a different room after a miscommunication. Not all rooms have AC and it can get hot in the summer. Breakfast decent but Wi-Fi spotty at best. Walking to the metro takes about 10 min and another 10 min to the main attraction areas of the city. Overall it is a good value hotel and very much appreciated the helpfulness of the staff.

Exceptional staff. Always friendly and offering help and recommendations. Rooms were dated but tidy and clean… and huge — largest hotel room I've ever had in Europe. Great location right on the edge of the old town which was very close to all the sights but out of the way of congestion. Walk away from the sights and there are a variety of local restaurants to be found. Breakfast was delicious with a wide and fresh selection and a large space to eat with both indoor and outdoor seating.

They've got good service and basically everything you need. A very nice hotel, very clean too.

The hotel has a good location, a nearby metro station and a tram stop. If anyone is interested in the store across the street and the restaurant. The hotel has normal rooms, breakfast buffet. Always clean, all the staff are very polite. I advise everyone to this hotel.

Hotel with a perfect location, very central, close to the City Hall, in a lively and commercial street but nothing noisy. Highly recommended.

During our visit to the beautiful Vienna we stayed at this hotel. I knew, thanks to other reviews, that it was dated so there was no surprise when we arrived. The key for the door and the breakfast for 18 euros per person. Also the 10 euros per day to use the stove or the kitchen utensils. Well located, you have several restaurants, cafes and supermarkets around. Internet wireless suddenly stoped working two days after we arrived, according to the note on the elevator the next day at 11.00 h it would be working. Never happened! So we decided to watch TV a little bit but all the channels are in Austrian German. To watch Deadpool was not so much fun. Beds are comfortable and they clean well every day. It is a little complicated to shower since you have to control the temperature constantly.

Outdated, but everything is clear, clean and staff at little care, breakfast is nickel.

Positives: Relatively close to city center and Metro stations. Close to shops and eateries. Fairly friendly staff for Vienna. Negatives: No air conditoning in any of the rooms as it gets very warm, stuffy, and uncomfortable in the Spring and Summer time heat. No hot water from time to time without a technician to come and repair, so be prepared to have cold showers. Low water pressure in showers, so it becomes more like a slow running faucet. Breakfast is not made in house, so get there early because once something is gone they cannot replace it (7am). Vienna is known for doing street work in the late night and early morning hours, so also be prepared not to get restful sleep due to the reverberation of sound against the hotel (hotel sits along the tram lines, so also very loud and high construction area). I would not recommend this hotel due to the very high price versus what you actually recieve. There are an abundance of other hotels that are also close to the city center, as well as the metro, shops/eateries and are much more accomodating to their customers' needs, as well as less expensive. My group and I will not return to stay in this hotel again, nor recommend it to others visiting Vienna. I recommend you spend your Euro wisely somewhere other than what this company calls their "Prestigious Hotel".

Stayed at the Hotel Theaterhotel Cordial in April 2018. Location near the center, many attractions within walking distance. Metro and tram stop nearby. Tickets can be bought at the hotel. Decent and varied breakfasts. Comfortable beds, cleanliness in the rooms. There is a safe in the room. There is also a kitchen area, which can be used for an extra fee. The friendly attitude to the guests, the reception service is always ready to help and answer questions.

Beautiful hotel, the. Complimentary breakfast was a little disappointing and we didn't have an air conditioning in our room.

A hotel that has come into the years. Regardless of this, I felt like a Saunaclub in the entire hotel. Consistently 30 ° no matter where you stopped. In the room the heating is fully turned on. In the dining room also 30 °. The request not to turn the heating up, was simply forgotten and discussing again, only the infusion was missing for a sauna in the room. This was accompanied until late about midnight by the tram, which I believe drove directly through my room. Again, no workaround could be made even though you were here 3 nights. You seie booked and could not give me another room. For a 4 star hotel (wherever these come from) the price of 62 euro incl. Breakfast is completely inappropriate. If it were a 2 or 3 star hotel it would fit. But maybe I was asking too much for the little money. The farewell was also very pleasant. No one wanted to know if I liked the stay. If I had not asked if the checkout was finished I would probably still be at the reception now. There wasn't a goodbye either. Thank God.

Great location close to town, rooms are cosy and well-presented. There are two grocery shops right on the doorstep as well which is super useful for buying breakfast, which is quite expensive with the hotel.

Cold and impersonal, I am accustomed to cordial-hotels differently.

Im from Greec and I love it! I lile the christmas decoration and the breakfast was so tasty.

Cute hotel within walking c means of transport, and tb can go on foot to places of interest such as the quartier museums. Comfortable room and excellent bed. The shower something old.

Recently stayed at Cordial Theaterhotel Wien. It is very antique like hotel just way we wanted. They didn’t have 2bedroom suits but rooms are spacious so it was no problem to stay with 4of us staying for a week. All employees are very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect! I will definitely go back and stay again. Thank you for your service.

The rooms are clean but the whole interior is out-dated and old. Rooms that are facing Josefstädterstraße are noisy as you can hear cars and trams passing by. There are several 3 and 4 star category hotels in Vienna, where you get more for your money. The hotel's location is central, town hall, Ringstraße and the 1st district are in walking distance. You have also good access to public transport.

Good location, smallish rooms but perfectly usable, old style throughout.

The room was large and clean, with an electrical oven in it. But unfortunately the cupboards were locked and when we asked, they said that we should pay 10 euro for each night to cupboard be opened. The sightseeing were not very close with at least 20 minutes walking to nearest one that was hofburg. There was no electrical kettle in the room to. I think 3 stars is enough.

Location very good, friendly staff, interior of the room a bit "dated" and not too neat.

Nice room, but… The shower consists of a bathtub built for dwarfs. I am 185 cm long and I have to crouch not to hit my head or spill water on the floor.

The hotel is situated in an antique building like many parts of Vienna. This gives it a feeling of stepping back in time. The rooms were clean, had cable and Wi-Fi. Also had a nice view of the city from my window. Breakfast was just okay, not many options, but good enough. Friendly staff too.

Awesome place. It is really beautiful and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are very large, clean and tidy. It is really close to the city center. We had a great time.

The sofa bed was not comfortable: it was a simple stretched sofa and no mattress. Great breakfast but you have to get there early to find everything assortment.

The property is gorgeous and right from the entrance lobby it looks very good. The room is really nice and comfortable and is divided into two floors. The breakfast buffet and great and plentiful.

Amazing architecture and size. We attended a nice concert too.

A sense of the past, in a grand way, excellent large room with most helpful staff and an excellent breakfast buffet. The bathroom left a lot to be desired especially the unmanageable shower head.

Had a nice apartment for 3 persons (3rd bed was pull-out couch in the living area — but better than an extra bed in the same room).

This is not the first time here. Everything is convenient and close.

Really enjoyed our stay! The staff speak English and the restaurant is fabulous. Will stay there again when visiting relatives in Vienna.
