Very beautiful view, nice setting with big sofas and the friendly welcome, and reasonable budget (10 € 1 beer and 1 cocktail without alcohol) to the place.

Very very nice, attentive staff in the Service! Helped me out with a private pocket-handkerchief, had a good mood, offered to take photos of us instead of the Selfies that we have produced… Very good Rosé-raspberry-mulled wine, excellent sweet potato Fries and Mini-burgers. And, of course, the beer was good… Thoroughly enjoyable and highly recommended. Thanks for the feel-good time!

Amazing view, worth the extra $ just to sit and enjoy the scenery.

Luckily we did not have to wait, fantastic view! We enjoyed cocktails and mini burgers served by a very friendly staff. We will be back soon!

I had never feel comfortable at hotel like this! Luxury and modern facilities, warm welcome at check in, all stuff are amazing (reception and cleanliness), at check out offers car to pick me up to airport but I told him my next stop is Budapest, so I don’t need go to airport. He gave me some great recommendations in Budapest. However, one thing I don’t like and might not come again because that which is the toilet totally separated from sink and bath no water around!

Upon arriving at hotel Topazz on Friday 27th July we were met with nothing but unhelpful and unfriendly staff. The receptionist did not greet us as we entered (looking clearly lost), as we wandered around the reception she still did not ask us if she could help us and when we asked for directions to the rooftop bar she was extremely abrupt and didn't even grace us with a smile as one would do in a front of house occupation. When we entered the bar it was quite empty, we should have taken the hint but we continued… We politely and gingerly tried to get someone's attention so we could be served and seated. When the waiter arrived he showed us to a two seater sofa in the corner (there were three of us) he pressed to take our order immediately without giving us time to be seated or settled, without offering us a menu or time to chose our drinks. We did ask for a menu but he told us there were not any avaliable and became impatient with us when we asked for the selection of drinks (maybe they did cocktails I thought). He rolled his eyes at us when we hesitated trying to think of an obvious drink choice to escape the awkwardness asap. We decided to settle with two beers and a white wine — simple. I took it upon myself to move another sofa over so I could sit down at least. We began to settle down, chat and play a quiet game. The waiter approached us again. Eeep… and told us games were forbidden in the hotel.

Boutique hotel in the heart of Vienna with a cosy restaurant and a stylish bar. The hotel staff were professionally trained to make our stay pleasant. Breakfast was delicious so will definitely stay there again.

Top 5 points. View and friendliness is OVER 5 top, prices very, very expensive. Moscow Mule 14, 50 Euro is served in tin heferl, not in copper, which I would expect original and at this price. Extremely plenty of ice cubes, and the seating is a bit rustic to cheap solution with pallets. But the view and friendliness make up for everything. Please clean the toilets more often!

Nice place. Had to queue for about 5 mins to get in. But once in we were shown straight to a table. Drinks were great. Took ages to get the bill but hey the staff were running around like no tomorrow. Would visit again. Girlfriend has just 'reminded me of the views wish I must say were amazing.

Really great rooms, huge shower, wonderful bed and room equipment. Breakfast room can be crowded and is a little bit small but nice. Breakfast is excellent and the roof top bar is the icing on the cake (view from the bar on St. Stefan cathedral)

Excellent hotel. First-class attention. Spacious rooms, we got a free upgrade. Great breakfast, served in the building opposite and the weekend can be taken until 14 hrs.
It's very close to the center.
The parking service costs 40 euros. (something expensive, but parking there is).
I recommend it. On my next visit to Vienna I will repeat this hotel.

This hotel is the perfect choice if you are looking for a high-quality hotel in Vienna.

I felt really comfortable in this hotel. My partner and I have spent a weekend there and the hotel staff has enriched our weekend a lot. Be it questions about good restaurants or additional service, they were always extremely Höfflich and have responded to our wishes and questions. Moreover, the rooms are simply gorgeous. In addition to the extravagant windows, the bathroom made me very surprised and a window from the shower to the room was revealed. Perfect for couples.

Best place to stay in Vienna! I travel to Vienna frequently and now always stay here. Its location is perfectly postioned in the center of town. The staff always go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The rooms are very comfortable, and a good size, and have the best showers! The restaurant offers good food with the Austrian classics, and the rooftop bar offers great views of the city and surrounding mountains. My only request would be to have some sort of docking station/sound system in the rooms, and possibly a few more options in the mini bar. See you guys again soon.

Great hotel really very well under all the sewing shavings with an incredible comfort comfort price view, and besides we will probably return on another stay set shortly, if they always know how to stay within a price range moderate.

Beautiful Rooms, Housekeeping not always top (Eg, comes Late in the Afternoon, then only fleetingly cleaned the Room — without sucking dust etc).
Unfortunately, it smelled quite unpleasant from the Shower or the Drain. Light in the Bathroom not particularly bright and completely unsuitable for the Ladies to Make up.
In Addition, you must not be sensitive to noise, as it is very, very noisy from the Street around the Clock. Greils until the early Morning at any Time of the year. All right, it's a City hotel! Roof Garden with a Dream View of Vienna and redesigned! No Parking! Garage is offered! Breakfast excl. And high priced at €21/pP.
Very friendly Staff!

We booked a room for 3 adults (a mother and two daughters) in Hotel Topazz. When we arrived the manager kindly advised that he was upgrading us to a suite at their sister hotel, Lamée, which is just across the street. The room at Lamée was stylish and spotless. It had a lovely terrace with views of the cathedral, and it had nicely decorated interiors, high quality toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. There is also a Nespresso unit in the room. As with typical city hotels, the rooms are small enough. The bathroom was fabulous and spacious though. The breakfast was excellent too. One of the guests was coeliac and she was catered for without any complications whatsoever. There was a great selection of food from the buffet and cook to order from a menu. I would go as far as to say that the breakfast was in the top 3 from about 18 city four/five star hotels I’ve stayed in during 2017. The staff were incredibly helpful and hospitable. They couldn’t do enough for us. Given this, the fantastic central location, and the high quality finishes, I would absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to the beautiful city of Vienna.

Warm welcome, wonderfully furnished rooms, spacious marble bathroom. Breakfast is available in the mother hotel opposite. My favorite hotel definitely.

I can highly recommend Hotel Topazz. The rooms a stylish and functional yet classy. The hotel is perfectly located in the city center within walking distance to both shops and tourist attractions. Beautiful cozy chic Boutique hotel very close walking distance to Austria's most prominent national symbol — St Stephen's Cathedral — cathedral with the mosaic roof tiles.

One of the most beautiful and best hotels in the city. Perfect for business trips, but also for holiday guests are served by the friendly staff and provided with all possible amenities and information during the trip to make the stay as beautiful as possible.

Rarely such a poor and rude service as experienced in this rooftop bar. Don't come back!

Definitely not a five star hotel. Worn out furniture, no toothbrush in hotel room. No drinking water, tea and no kettle in the room. The staff is friendly and helping anyway but still.

Not only is Hotel Lamée one of the closest and fanciest hotels in the 1st district of Vienna, but it also offers a Lounge and Rooftop bar that allows both guests of the hotel and regular visitors an outstanding view over the roofs of Vienna.

The Hotel Topazz is a nice boutique establishment — I found the selection of chartreuse velvet for the stool and the patterned velvet window bench cushions to be charming. Absolutely loved the oblong shaped window with built in bench. The staff were friendly and helped point me in the direction to run along the Danube and where to get a sim card. Adorable hotel.

Great hotel 1 min from St Stephen's Cathedral. Nice rooms, we had the Prestige Room with an indoor bathtub which was really cool, however the sink was also in the room, which caused some inconvenience in the morning. Good breakfast, wide selection of meat and cheese as well as a la carte options. The staff was a bit overwhelmed by the many guests. Lovely hotel overall, would stay again!

Imagine my surprise when after entering the lobby of this establishment via the grotesquely vulgar giant flower display entrance, to find such an enchanting rooftop cocktail paradise! We loved the playful mix and match textile prints of the seating. Not to mention the views!

The HISTORY of the … HOTEL TOPAZZ … always lasts a very long TIME marcel.

Hotel very well located, near the cathedral of Vienna. It is a 5 star hotel even though the truth is not the deserves. The room is very small, there is not you are free in the room. The air conditioning does not have button paagar, turns on and off by opening and closing the door of the room. The Sra of the cleaning arrives at 8:30 to the room while we are sleeping although very discreetly pokes and goes. The Wifi reaches to the room and it works correctly. We have access to a bar, the breakfast is served at 18€ in a bar in front although we didn't try as there are many bars and bakeries in the area.

I loved it. The location was great. Close to all attractions. Supermarket across the street. Comfortable bed, room was great. The ladies at front desk were very friendly.

I was attending the Playstation VR event at the rooftop suite. The view was quite nice and the rooms were decent although a bit small, but I guess space is rare in the 1st district.

Great hotel with a great location. The friendliness of your staff was extraordinary. Faced with an unfortunate situation of the family (not slojada in the Lamée) gave us a truly exceptional service with care, generosity and kindness out of the ordinary. Our gratitude. We will, without a doubt.

On arrival was told that the hotel was over booked, so they had moved the booking to their sister hotel, Lamee on the same street. I had made my booking directly with the hotel, and emailed an additional request which had not been replied to. I was advised that they had given a ‘Double upgrade’ to compensate for this. Which they had not with my original booking being for the prestige room, the manager was not willing to speak with us. Offers of resolution included a free cancellation (at this point we had waited over an hour to speak with someone and this offer was no use with the time of day and many other hotels being booked) or a free breakfast. They also were not able to answer why they had not attempted to get in contact to advise of the double booking in advance of arrival, just stating they had not ‘downgraded us’. We were told the over booking as nothing personal and it can just happen. Looking at further reviews it appears to be a trend, with Topazz and Lamee both over booking and transferring bookings between each other. Cynically I feel this is likely their business model. Having a beautiful and unique hotel which they use to then create bookings in their sister hotel, which though is a fair hotel is not the one I had booked. Having an open plan bath and shower – definitely not to my taste/comfort. Put a negative start to a mini break, unless you like both the Topazz hotel and the Lamee and have no preference as to which I would not recommend booking here.

Booked into the hotel to be told they were fully booked. We were offered an upgrade in another hotel to then find out the room wasn't an upgrade at all. We were then offered a 50 euro food voucher but we're then told this wasn't available either. It was impossible to see the manager as he left in the time we were waiting to speak with him. Very poor customer service.
