Outstanding service and commitment to their guests. Wonderful niceties such as turn down service, full breakfast buffet and elegant but friendly atmosphere. There was never a hesitation when we asked for anything. The staff always had smiles on their faces and offered assistance. The food was excellent — a nice variety and beautiful presentations. The professionalism was evident throughout our stay. We are returning to stay additional days at the end of our journey.

Very nice hotel very nice room in a great location, only issue I had is the free Wi-Fi is very slow, free Wi-Fi was recommended by the staff when I checked in. I’m trying to switch to premium Wi-Fi but realized it’s a one time connection.

Beautiful building, full of history & grandeur. Well located for shopping or sightseeing, and the many wonderful traditional coffee shops too. Impeccable service, what’s not to love.

We recently stayed in an Opera Suite. The suite was beautiful and the view of the Opera House was spectacular! The service was impeccable and we enjoyed our daily breakfasts and drinks at the Bristol Bar! Would highly recommend staying here and would love to visit again one day!

The hotel is very nice, but also very expensive. I paid 485 Euro for one night (actually used a big discount from the normal price which was 625 Euro) and my room overlooked a closed inner yard with some huge pipes installed. For that money I'd expect something better. The breakfast is excellent.

BEWARE! THE KING SIZED BED IS ACTUALLY 2 TWINS COMBINED! It's completely inappropriate to advertise a king sized bed that's actually made up of two mattresses. They might as well have given me 1 twin bed if I can't even sleep in the middle comfortably? I'm confused how this is possible for a hotel that claims to be "luxury". They also said the only way to have a true king mattress is if we upgraded to a suite. Not sure of that's factual or they were just saying that, but I really felt I needed to share. I'm extremely disappointed with the hotel and the service provided.

I stayed at Hotel Bristol for 5 nights and would highly recommend the hotel for anyone staying in Vienna. As a Starwood Gold Member I was upgraded to an Executive Room at arrivals and the hotel staff was extremely helpful and courteous throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and the service was impeccable as even if we stopped into the room for a moment it seemed as if house keeping came and reset the room every time.

The room is nice, the bathroom is spacious, the style is vintage.

Exquisite elegant generous This hotel is quite famous in Vienna and is perfectly situated near all the museums and the Opera House. We have stayed here previously, and sometimes one's memories (and therefore expectations) are not matched when one returns. In this case they were surpassed. We had been travelling in Europe, and compared with other hotels of stature this hotel has more generous and beautifully appointed rooms, and six star service — any request being accommodated effortlessly. A special mention must be given to the head concierge, Mr Dieter Ludewig. For his expertise alone it is worth staying in this hotel. He can arrange tickets and reservations which are otherwise 'impossible' and he is the embodiment of Viennese charm and intelligence.

I realize I am a little late with this review. In fact, Google was founded the year before my wife and I stayed here on our second honeymoon. We came for a much needed break and the total solar eclipse in 1999. I suppose I really need to just say two things here. First, everything was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Second, we still talk about this experience, tell the stories and praise the hotel nearly 20 years later. I certainly hope we get to return someday. Thanks for the memories!

We booked a room at this property assuming it would have the basic standards we expect of a Starwood property. This is an old property with dated rooms and desperately needs an upgrade. The walls are paper thin and you can hear conversations from the next room. Our room had a smell that the staff struggled to fix. The air conditioning barely worked. Great location but quite noisy as it faces a busy main street.

The Hotel Bristol was nice and had a nice historical feel to it. We were SPG platinum members but didn’t have any added benefits so it wasn’t worth spending the points on the room. It was very centrally located, but not ideal if you don’t like crowds or a lot of tourists. It was nice to say we’ve stayed there but would choose a more practical accommodation next time.

The Easter brunch was very good and the staff was excellent.

WOW! Where do I begin. Very friendly and trained staff. The hotel has a great lobby and decor which creates an amazing ambiance. Rooms are great, some with a great view of the main plaza and of the opera house. The hotel is located at the city-center which was also great. The presidential suite was great though, with it, s own mini rotunda and view of the opera house. Great hotel 10 stars!

Great location, luxury Vienna option, though a bit stuck in an 80's vibe, but in a good sort of way… nice bar to get a post dinner drink with international patrons. Staff efficient and courteous, got an upgrade to a junior suite which was nice.

The Bristol Bar always goes! A hideout in front of the real world. Wonderful!

Awesome hotel. So classy and beautiful. Fantastic service. Very friendly and helpful staff at every level. We felt right at home and everything we asked for was given to us in no time. The lobby does smell a little like cigarette smoke but otherwise there is no smoking in the rooms and everything is as clean as could be. They leave you Mozart chocolates on the bed every day which is really cute. It is located in the best part of town. You couldn't ask for a more perfect spot. The hop on hop off is across the street, main tourist attractions are within 5 minutes walk. Area is very safe (or we felt very safe) and the streetcar and subway stations are just in front of the hotel.

Bristol is my favourite hotel in Vienna. It is situated just a couple of steps from the Vienna Opera. It is the best choice if you are planning to visit it. The best rooms are on the first and the second floor. The breakfast is very good. Ask the rooms faceing the Opera. That will be the best view.

Absolutely love the Bristol. I have stayed here twice. The rooms both times have been really charming with interesting/historic decor. The concierge staff here is also top notch. I showed up to Vienna without any idea what to do and they made sure that I used my time well. Also, the breakfast in the morning (platinum amenity) is excellent. Best of all is location. Located right next to all of the great downtown attractions.

I sincerely enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Bristol. The location is amazing with everything, including pub transit, within easy walking distance of the hotel. The bed was extremely confortable and the staff was attentive and non-intrusive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Vienna.

4.5 stars. Amazing location plus amazing staff. Close to 5 stars, except for the fact that the building is in need of major updates. Can never get water temperature to stay consistent. Phone system still works on pulse dialing. Can't say enough about how amazing the staff is. Very attentive. And the hotel being steps away from Innerstadt. Absolutely amazing for tourists who like to walk and soak in the atmosphere.

Tourist from US: OMG this place was lovely! The waiters were very polite and speedy. They understood that we had a show to get to and made sure that our meal arrived in time for us to make the show. We were even given the directions to the show. It was marvelous!

This is a beautiful old place with more than a whiff of history about it. I would return again though for the incredible location and kind, accommodating staff. Recommended.

Just an overall amazing experience. The location is top notch, probably the best in all Vienna. Rooms are antique, so you have to like it, but the bed is a very comfy Simmons standard American hotel bed so you'll sleep good. Breakfast is nice — even though in such an upscale place I would have expected more individuality.

Very pretty hotel in a nice central location. We had a few drinks which were good. I really liked their overall design and lobby. Even the elevator looked extremely cool with leather seats added to it.

Absolutely amazing! My family got an upgrade to a suite and we very much enjoyed all the amenities the hotel provided. The room is very tastefully decorated, the bed is among the most comfortable I've been on, and most importantly, it has an amazing view of the State Opera House. Will definitely stay again!

I was there for a corporate event. To my taste too old style and posh. But there is to whom the glitz and the luxury likes.

When ordering, ask for a room on the West side and from your window is visible the Opera house. Very nice hotel! But the Park service is actually a brilliant invention! Beautiful building, gorgeous interiors, gorgeous room and simply breathtaking views of the Opera house! Everything is just super!

Here decent free Internet, you can warm up in the lobby — no one is driving. Beautiful toilet.

All of my valuables got stolen from the room. Worst security I've seen in a hotel. Great breakfast buffet but you can't trust that your stuff will be in your room when you get back.
