Central location 2 min away from St. Stephen's Square. I also easily reach with luggage from Vienna HB via U1. Very nice staff. Suitable breakfast I did not try because there are already many cafés on the Kärtnerstr. I will book again this hotel had a single room was very large sized.

Clean and quiet. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Definitely I’m gonna recommend this place to anyone visiting Vienna.

Very well placed in the ver center of Vienna. Clean, gentle personnel, silent room with lot of space. Very abundant breakfast. Very close to pretty much evwrything in the center of the city, also close to Underground line that can take you where you want. For italians or people used to that (read: hygienic people that uses to wash themselves…) a pleasant surprise was the bidet in the bathroom. Can't give 5 stars because air conditioned was a little noisy, even at the lowest power. Also noisy was the water in the shower, maybe a miner leak in the tube. If you get there by car, a little expensive the parking (35 € per day) but quick service. At the reception a gentle man from Italy helped during the whole stay. In the end, I recommend and I would come back if I'll have a future chance.

Very well located. Suite with spacious bathroom. Old style décor and furniture a little spent in the living room. Breakfast is nothing short of other hotels visited in Austria. The hotel's parking service is curious: 35 euros/jr to pay in cash! Would the Austrians practice "black"! We didn't break our heads on the search for cheaper parking, but it must be easy contrary to what the front desk told us. We paid a 24-hour ticket on all public transport 16

Excellent service, rooms, and location. Free Wi-Fi and AC is also available. Bed was not the best but still had a full night sleep.

The structure is in perfect Viennese style both outside and inside, where you are greeted by a friendly and friendliest staff. Ours was a leisure and relaxation trip and everyone in the hotel knew how to cater to those that were our needs from the staff of the rooms to the breakfast waitresses to the receptionist. Breakfast with a wide choice, from sweet to salty.

The property is in a strategic position from which you can access to almost all the main points of interest of the city. Me and my girlfriend in a week we used very little the metro, if you want to walk you get anywhere. Vienna, wonderful city, the cold in February is felt quite a lot, but on the other hand there are wonderful places. We will be back in a time with a more magnanimous climate. Definitely Al Kaiserin Elisabeth.

This hotel is beautiful and clean. It has a rich history and right near all Althea attractions. Also within walking distance of the metro. My only complaint about this place is that the doors are a bit loud so you can hear other people's doors. The building is very old (but very well kept up) so I guess that is the reason. Either way, I would recommend staying at this hotel.

Located in the city centre with easy walk to all the great sights. They have big rooms with unique design. Entry to the room is via two doors and the key is very different. The Wi-Fi is excllent There is no tea or coffee making facility in the room. The view from the window is terrible.

Perfect location very close to Stephansplatz in central Vienna with nicely decorated rooms, making it a perfect base for exploring the sights. The rooms are nicely decorated. The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful.

Old but good maintained hotel in the very center of Vienna with spacious and clean rooms. No private parking, but nearby is a public garage you can use. Quality breakfast, friendly staff. Internet was not so good in the room. The price is much higher than you can expect for services included, but it is OK for non demanding visitors.

Very nice city hotel in a great location in close proximity to St. Stephen's Cathedral. Staff very friendly and obliging. The hotel has a wonderful hint of nostalgia. For the 5 star me but lacking the for a house in my previous experience too little choice on the breakfast buffet (my last visit there November 2011 — perhaps will it be different in the spring of 2014? A previous report speaks of a rich buffet breakfast). Also, I could not always well received the free Wi-Fi.

I would definitely stay here again. My first thoughts. A centrally-located boutique hotel that appeared to be full of business travelers. There were two positives about our stay here — the location and the room. The hotel is tucked just a few steps from St. Stephen's Square and high street shopping. The room was comfortable, the bed was cozy, and the large shower with multi-shower heads was welcome after a road trip to Vienna and an all-day walk of the city. Negative: The buffet-style breakfast (which was quite good) was an option for single room but automatically included in the price for a double. I prefer the choice to opt-out as I'm not much into breakfast buffets and like eating outside the hotel. Parking was an additional 32€ / day.
