Nice stay and staff the breakfast is very good and the rooms also very spacious and comfortable.

On training in Salzburg and billeted by the company in this house.
Supposedly 4 stars, but you absolutely do not see them.
Yes, it's Corona, and yes, there are restrictions, but if the bathroom isn't made (apart from the stained towels) and the breakfast dishes haven't been picked up either, let alone the dung bucket being empted… Then the reservation is deleted, although you said "only" the eve arrival on Sunday (you come Monday morning). Then you will also be misinformed when it comes to parking. The breakfast an impudence (the coffee bilious, the "care package" billigsdorfer u looks like from mcD. )
So honestly: I'm glad that the company paid the hotel, for the booth 80eu per night demand is an absolute mess…

Excellent hotel in a convenient place near to train and bus station. Staff were friendly and helpful with nothing being to much trouble. Could not fault it and would recommend this hotel to anyone. In our eyes well worth 10/10.

Millions of chickens in Wyndham’s supply chain are suffering in small, filthy cages. Wyndham made a global cage-free commitment in 2017 and then deleted that promise when Wyndham Destinations was created. I’m boycotting all Wyndham locations until it makes good on its promise to end extreme and unnecessary animal cruelty! www. WyndhamCruelty. Com.

The executive suite is amazing.

I was in this Hotel for a business update. It is a short walk from the station and a 15-minute walk from the main streets of the Old Town. Convention center with two large and other smaller rooms, beauty center, gym etc.
The rooms are very large and bright.

Rooms could be a little more modern. Staff very friendly, parking by car in the underground car possible however costs 16€ per day extra. Otherwise very nice.

Super Festival Stay. Newly renovated rooms on the second floor are very tasteful and clean. Food at the bar is also highly recommended. Come back.

The hotel’s cleaning services are TERRIBLE! they don’t clean the bathroom probably, the AC is old and useless. The parking is expensive … just avoid this hotel if possible.

I was quite disappointed with my 7 — day stay at this hotel. A day before my last day I noticed some things missing, which in fact it was. I'd just bought brand new make up and it was missing. Also some stuff was also moved and misplaced. When I went to tell the receptionist she was very unhelpful. None of the staff really knew what was going on. They are all over the place. On one of the nights, my mother went to ask for a glass of milk for my baby brother and they refused to give her. She offered to pay for the glass of milk but they refused again and said that they will only allow her to take a glass if she pays 25 euros for the full breakfast! DISGRACE.

I really liked the hotel. The location, right at the train station is perfect. I had booked a business suite, a very nice room with a cozy bed. The breakfast buffet was very rich and the staff were very attentive and friendly even in the early morning. All in all, it was a nice stay.

A good Hotel with spacious, comfortable and well equipped rooms. Staff is friendly. Decent vegetarian options in breakfast. Only flaw is Climate control doesn't work well in rooms.

Room was big and clean but a little outdated especially in the bathroom. Hair dryer went out twice. Was told they are working on remodeling which would fix that problem which is a known issue. Really friendly staff.

Excellent, friendly and attentive service is offered at the reception as well as in the restaurant, the location of the hotel is central and yet quiet, I feel very comfortable here again and again!

I realized later I should have enjoyed the buffet breakfast in the restaurant, not with noisy tour group. Big disappointment. 3. When checked out, I told the check out agent about the poor-quality breakfast I had and asked for reasonable compensation. The agent said no. I indicated I will leave a bad review on the hotel. The agent said it is fine with him. The conclusion: This hotel is not interested in treating customers fairly. Stay away from this hotel if possible. There are many hotels nearby. I read the response from Wyndham Grand Salzburg. Here is their logic: if I reserve a fancy big suite and is given a small room, I am getting the same service because the bed is the same. Again stay away from this hotel if you want to treated fairly and receive what you paid for. New update: I emailed my complaint to the hotel. The hotel front office manager is willing to refund the breakfast. I have to change my review of their customer services to be good and fair. I will come back to the hotel because they are willing to address my concern. Thank you.

Rather not bad for the price but a few points to improved. Hotel Restaurant very good. Gym with complete equipment. A little disappointed by the spa area. Gigantic bed. Very close to the train station and the shops. But far from historic places (Old Town)

For a short trip we chose the Wyndham.
The reception was friendly. The room was very clean and well equipped.
We are walking distance to the centre.

Very nice hotel and incredibly nice staff! We enjoyed our stay a lot. Especially the Club Lounge is awesome, you have a wonderful view over Salzburg from up there.

Wyndham Grand Salzburg is an apt name for this grand structure. Located very near to the train station (only 5 mins walk). It’s a beautiful hotel with impressive architecture. The facilities are amazing. The heated swimming pool, spa & sauna are fantastic. The room was really spacious & perfectly set. There were fresh fruits, coffee sachets & a coffee maker. The breakfast here was the best breakfast I have had in a long time. Staff was courteous but I never had much interaction with them. Room service was quick. The best part I loved about the hotel was its service & its proximity to the train & bus station.

Classic typical business seminar hotel. Large spacious bar, large spacious breakfast area. Room with ample space.

Crystal ski holidays put us up here, after flight home was delayed. It was a large conference hotel, who seemed able to cater for a large of maybe 200 or more. 4star, good rooms, excellent breakfast. Not sure what the price would have been.

The Hotel Wyndham is my favourite in Salzburg. The ladies at the front desk are always friendly and the location is almost perfect. Just at the main train station, the city is within walking distance and the motorway can be reached in a few minutes.

Location was really good, just 2 minutes walk from the Central Station. Rooms were nice and cozy, comfy beds too. Breakfest was nice, and even had good vegan options. Shower stream wasn't strong, and no shampoo, but besides that… I enjoyed my time there.

I was here at a congress with 1000 people. Although the large hall was full, you could see everything well. The organization and food was great. Also the many toilets are clean and it has enough toilet paper. Not of course, at 700 women going to the toilets.

Very nice upscale Hotel. Really nice accommodations, especially for a European Hotel. Big rooms, with lots of area to stretch out. Nice restaurant and bar located in the lower level. Watch out for those European bartenders though, they can be quite Surly. Lol!

The room was a dream. Very nicely decorated. The fitness room was very large and many equipment to choose from. The only thing to complain about is the parking spaces. These are marked for smart.

We have spent a couple of nice days in this hotel and we are happy.
The room was very good. The employees were very friendly and they have taken great care. The Camaeros make jokes with our kids… The atmosphere was super family. Some of them speak Spanish. Breakfast is good there is everything and not missing anything but the price is a bit high… but that seems normal in Salzburg. We go back.

Good afternoon to all who are going to visit this hotel! Do not go there! There are thieves! Steal money from rooms! Be careful! I have stolen more than 3500 euros in this hotel. Theft was committed by the hotel staff while we were on a breakfast.

Great service and room. Located in the city/suburb. Easily accessible. Went during Christmas season so most of the shops around were closed.

Rooms are large but often have 2 double beds inside which, in my opinion, is quite a waste! Breakfast is very good and has a huge selection! However, rooms have been a little bit over the years and for that I find the price no longer appropriate! It is very clean though! The restaurant is very expensive but the food is top! Service but very slow!

This review is only for the restaurant, Bar Roque. The food is top-notch gourmet and service was excellent. A pleasant surprise in this dumpy hotel in a bad part of town.

We have stayed to Wyndham grand conference center, salzburg for 2 nights and 3 days. We didnt feel like 4 star hotel considering hospitality and service. On arrival, no one assisted for luggage, no one explained hotel amenities, No one accompanied to room and shown room and toiletries, had to ask for some basic toiletries, no water bottles (either mineral or RO-water purifier, only paid water). We are pure vegeterian, thei didnt provide any veg food in breakfast except fruits and bread butter. They didnt prepare even any on request. They asked for 25euro per person per night, so 100 euro for 2 nights as secuity deposit. All hotels in europe I stayed asked for 50euro total as security deposit even for 3 night stay and I didnt get concept of per day charge of this hotel, they could do housekeeping and ask for money daily if anything used or damaged. If we stay there for 10 days, will we ha e to pay 500euro deposit? Cant they check it daily with housekeeping? And leaving all these, I gave them my debit card as they told, it will be blocked 100euro, not debited without my authorization, but 100euro debited from my account and they did not even give receipt of their charge of 100euro security deposit, no proof in form of receipt or email that I paid 100euro which will be refunded back on checkout.

The food in this hotel is outstanding.
But: my hotel room stinks of smoke, I can advise any non-smoker not to have such a thing to offer. I'll ask for another room tomorrow. The fault of the misery is of course not the hotel, but hotel guests who verqualmen in such a room, for me these are not ordinary people, because alone the thought in what a smoky place these people live and sleep is a nightmare.

Nice and luxurious hotel. Great amenities. Great hospitality. We walked into our hotel room and we were greeted by fruit and chocolate cake. Indoor pool, sauna, workout space. Great place to spend our weekend in Salzburg!

Mich zieht es im Rahmen meiner Arbeit häufiger nach Salzburg und fast immer übernachte ich im Wyndham. Es ist wirklich ein großartiges Haus. Die klimatisierten Zimmer sind groß, stets absolut sauber und sehr einladend. Das Bett ist bequem, könnte meiner Meinung nach aber ein ganz kleines bisschen weicher sein. Abgesehen davon ist das gratis nutzbare Fitnesscenter mit Schwimmbecken und Sauna auch wirklich großartig. Also auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

This hotel has been the best of my trip, not very central but you can walk to the center. It is comfortable, spacious and comfortable. I recommend it.

Lovely location close to the train station and all the attractions are an easy walk away. The staff are really lovely and helpful. The rooms are very well kept and clean, and although they are not ultra modern, they are very comfortable and smart. Only downside was the TV locks out the HDMI, but it's easy to bypass with some Google-Fu. It would be great if they unlocked the HDMI by default. If you get the chance, a walk by the river is a must.

We went on a group tour, one of us had the money stolen from inside the hotel room at night time within an hour or two after we checked in by 9pm. The hotel management refused to take responsibility especially with the lacking of hotel security systems of CCTV camera. We would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Not worth a star; Worst hotel ever ; not worth money paid. House keeping use dirty towels to clean. Checked in to a very old room ; dusty and toilets was dirty. Moved to business suite ; room is small and when you request any thing service they take more than usual and they refuse to deliver and they asking the customer to come to reception and collect it. (water, milk & adopters … etc)

Very variable quality depending on the room. The renovated rooms are fine while the unrenovated ones plunge you 20 years back!

Overall a nice hotel and location to public transport very good. Places to eat in the nearby vacinity lacking (unless you want MacDonalds or burger king). Two pairs of hotel guests presented to the dining room on Christmas night (when we wld be celebrating xmas) and were turned away, basically told we should have booked 2 wks ago. Asked about a buffet that was set out and after speaking with 4 different staff was only offered that if the kitchen had enough — only 8 people currently dining and then told it wld be €41 per head. Last option — a-la carte and that doesn't fit into every ones budget. As a wyndham member pretty damn disappointing with their effort.

I spent a night in Wyndham Grand on my recent visit to Salzburg. To start with, the hotel was situated at 100m distance from the train station which made it easy to find and even quicker to reach. Adding to it, we had a landmark point to commute back at day end.
The distance between the hotel and station was full of stores and eateries making it even more convenient for us to relish a hearty meal in Salzburg without having to hunt for it. The check-in at the hostel was easy and quick and within no time we were in our Club Room (suite) which was allotted to us. Now this was one room full of luxury and comfort. The huge, spacious bathroom with the best of amenities being an absolute delight.
Like other 4 star hotels, Wyndham too offered a closet, locker with a security code, mini bar, tea-coffee and water heater, work desk, TV and a comfortable queen sized bed. The room was well lit and there was ample space to store the luggage. My room had a window that gave a wonderful view of the sky at sunset. To refresh and relax, we went to the fitness centre and had a great swim at their clean and maintained swimming pool! Full marks to their amazing hospitality which was quick and complying of any requests. Before checking out, I filled my stomach with the breakfast which was included in my booking. It was a tasteful breakfast buffest with a wide variety of juices, cheeses and meats. There was enough to choose from with a promise of a wholesome breakfast!

The hotel is located within walking distance of the train station. The lobby is clean and elegant. The staff is friendly. The room is comfortable. Unfortunately though, my experience was not as pleasant as it should have been. There was construction going on with loud sanding, grinding and jack-hammering like sounds that reverberated through the entirety of the hotel. When I asked/complained, I was told that new suites/conference rooms were being built and in the rest of the hotel, one would hear the noise too, not just in the lobby or my room. Very disappointing to say the least.

There were two areas for hotel guests by color for breakfast, kinda racial discrimination n uncomfortable feeling. Asia guests were not being well located and treated，while we needed to ask waitress to refill the milk and even we ate breakfast at 8:30, there was a totally empty tray over there till we left. We don't think it's a four star hotel attitude，did we pay less than white color guests？If not，pls review internally or u can just reject all the guests except while race in public！We stayed your hotel last week⋯⋯very disapointed！

The security system is very poor. My wife is lost cash only in her wallet at the room on the morning. Be careful, check again door locking system and thieves.

Great room, the bathroom is fine (bath), the breakfast is absolutely top! The hotel parking lot is I find expensive 16€ / day directly opposite in the parking garage you can park for 4.50€ / day. The hotel's restaurant is good but very expensive. The old town is walk rather far away. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

It was a very nice stay at Hotel Wyndham Grand Salzburg, we spent five days in Salzburg during NY eve. The location is very good, close to the train station, and around 20-25 minutes walk to the old centre. The room was quite large, and the beds were quite big and comfortable. The hotel personnel was very helpful and very nice, always responding to our queries. You can enjoy 24h gym and a small pool and there is even a shuttle bus which you can book for free to go to the ski area. I think it was great value for money and would definetly recommend this hotel to any travellers in Salzburg.

A renewal could use the room absolutely in order, only the bathroom, here I would give a star of less.

The hotels control their rates depending on the booking situation and demand is not so reprehensible, and a normal handling. You should sit still an upper limit, because it is always the price — at which a hotel is measured and evaluated. 190, — € for a single room without breakfast (+ 18, — €) and garage this hotel there is no easy and leaves a thread aftertaste.
If there is room in less strong times for 79, — €, I'm still take's me if to the highpeak prices rise twice, but the rate was far too high…
