Burn it to the ground and start again. False advertising with the photo's posted on line booking sites. Noisy. Undesirable looking people loitering about the place. Bars on Windows. Run down shabby appearance. Not worth $167.00 A night. Could not recommend for anyone to stay here.

We stayed over Australia Day long weekend, unit 11.
We stayed there as it as a tad cheaper and the location was good, we completely understood that it was a Budget motel
However that doesn’t excuse being dirty, cupboards had so much dust and oil on them, top of shelf in shower had mould and old soap on it, the exhaust fan was clogged with dust, the bedroom smelt dusty and the room had no PowerPoints.
Nothing is in the room, you need to ask for, extension cords, frying pan, u…tensils ect. And you are not able to control the AC, they hold the remotes in the office. We stay at budget motels often but they are clean, this was not clean. I think if they spent a bit of time / care on actually cleaning the rooms, maybe carpet cleaning, and room freshen up Ashley are very out dated and old it would make a massive difference.

Make sure you read the fine print… do not book they will take your deposit as cancel fee calculation policy very badly worded.

Lovely staff, always cheap rooms but never any soaps, towels or utilities provided which sucks because I've stayed here with my partner on at least 5 different occasions and still no pick up in service. Just paid almost 2k for the family room for 4 weeks and not even 1 towel so have had to spend money on a towel which will only be used a couple weeks. Disappointed honestly. Hope this changes!

Reasonably priced units. Rooms could use a revamp but clean and tidy with everything you need for an overnight stay. Lady at reception was lovely and helpful.

Lovely and helpful office person. Just couldn't find the remote control for the air conditioner. Bed was very comfortable.

It was the worst experience. There was no one at reception all weekend. The television did not work. We had extremely noisy neighbors who kept us awake until 2.30am and there was no one to report it too. The rooms are straight out the 1960's with absolutely no renovations at all. I would never stay there again.

I stayed for 1 night at the beginning of the Commonwealth Games. Staff were friendly and made me feel very welcome. As my room was upstairs and accessible only by the stairs staff carried my bag to my door. The place seems rather dated but I found the room was clean and comfortable. Small kitchenette with microwave & bar fridge.

We enjoyed our stay there. Though the air-conditioner wasn't up to the task to cool down the unit we were staying in.

Absolute hell hole. Avoid at all costs. Uncomfortable, outdated and overpriced. Missed my check in date by one day, and the booking was made available and my room sold for the week. They offered one night as I had no where else to go, but refused to refund.

It's a good location but you get what you pay for. Clean tidy and lovely staff but noisy and room layout is not ideal.

I stayed to browns for a functions we found cockroaches under one of the beds air conditioning doesnt work and the hot water took awhile to heat up ok for a night stay … improvements are much needed.

No kitchen just a fry pan, no utensils or toilet paper, needed cleaning wont stay again what a dump.

Spacious rooms… close to pacific fish and Dracula's.

It was a room cheap on gold coast. Dont have foxtel in the rooms like advertised, have to go ask for the aircon remote they dont give it to you at check in. Advertise spa suite but you cant use the spa because they took the tap handles and the spout.

Room was ok, air conditioner was only for Summer and not Winter, there was no pressure in the shower, just a dribble of water coming out, had to pay for Wi-Fi which was expensive, but the room was decent size and clean, and the bed was big and comfortable. Ok for a cheap night stay and it is very close to the beach and Pacific Fair. Get what you pay for.

After reading a few mixed reviews online I was a bit anxious to find out what awaited me at Browns, however, when I arrived to the complex I was pleasantly surprised. I stayed in Room 6 and it was very spacious, clean and the bed comfortable. The receptionist was very pleasant and nothing was too much effort. After running behind and only checking in 5 minutes before reception hours ended, I was very grateful that the receptionist had waited for me to arrive. Such a quiet little motel & lovely dark rooms for sleeping when curtains are closed. Would definitely stay here again.

While budget priced, this place is very old & yes they have tried to do what they can with it. However, we booked as 2 guests but there were many years more 'guest's' staying in the room — cockroaches (small ones, not the big flying ones). Woke up to find them on our toothbrush & then cockroach faeces in the kettle! The walls were paper thin & I'm sure the girl next door was murdered after intercourse. Felt more like what I'd imagine a hotel in the war zone of the middle east than one on the Gold Coast. Not recommended at all. Sleep in your car or on a park bench — it feels safer.

It was very cheap to stay here. The beds were comfortable, the water had good pressure and was hot. I was happy with what we got considering the very low price.

Great spa, I was a real fan of the place.

I stayed in room 14 around 9/9/2016 it was kind of ok the bed had a broken leg and the spa bath didnt work, the air con had NO remote so it couldnt be used te fan turned off when you put on number 2 instead of Off, but it was clean and although very basic the bed was clean and comfy, they provid tea/coffee/milk.

Absolute Crap, first room had a bed that was on a lean. They had to go and set up a second room… It had a horrible smell, no tea or coffee and paid for a spa suite and missed out on the spa room because it was crap.
Never staying there again.
Would have been better off at Backpackers.
Beds were like concrete.

Was clean and perfect for an overnight stay to see a show at Jupiter's. Simple and had everything we needed.

Shower absolutely terrible hot water kept turning on/ off with 2 small kids it was a disaster there is no aircon in bedrooms making it very uncomfortable to sleep there is paint chipping on all doors walls are filthy shower not clean from previous occupants for $170 a night I was expecting a little more. Do not recommend staying here especially with kids.

My parents booked to stay here for their visit on the goldcoast, they paid $1200 for 8 nights, but apon arrival they were disgusted in the filth and lack of hygiene this place had. Rooms were absolutly disgusting! Freezer was filled with ice, moled and cockroaches on window seals, smelled of urine, staff were not helpful, asked for a refund as it was not fit for a dog to sleep in let alone a family of 4! Will be exposing this hotel as it is not fit for people to stay and preventing people from having to go through the same experience. Parents ended up moving to paradise island resort which was $400 cheaper and so much nicer! Do not recommened wasting your time or money staying here!

Location is fine, the rooms are clean at least and service is non existent.

Absolute crap this place is nothing like the description on the internet. Overpriced for what you get. Stayed in unit 6a on 20/6/15 and was totally disgusted. Room smelt like tobacco smoke, cockroaches around the fridge, cockroach found under pillow when bed turned back. External filthy with rubbish and cigarette butts around doorway to unit. Advertised to have tea & coffee making facilities but failed to supply any milk. Rang office at 2.30 am to complain about noise from next unit and only got answering machine. Would not even rate this place with 1 star and would not recommend to anyone. Complained to reception next morning and got very little response.

Carpets were clean and I was surprised with how quiet this hotel was considering its on the main road. I found this Motel to be clean and the room was a good size room for the price. But the best part for me was the location. It's directly across from the tram station and the Pacific fair Shopping center. The service from the young girl at the front desk was a breath of fresh air. Thank you.

One word to describe this place. DISGUSTING! Our experience in this motel is like nightmare. The place is filthy, pool and spa are filthy smelly. The room they allocated for us is like a dungeon, no security, door lock is broken, toilet is dirty, they dont change beddings on a daily basis. Overprice, charged $170/night is not worth it, We had to moved somewhere elase and wasted the money we paid them, as we couldnt stand the condition of the whole Motel. This motel shoud be banned and demolish! Overall. Shit place to stay, dont fall for their advertisement! Additional to that. The stuff are not very helpful adn she couldnt be bother to at least moved us in another room! Hate hate hate. Worst place ive ever been.

Disappointed with room, firstly we had no curtains in our room and then we were moved next door to find that the paint was peeling off the roof of the bathroom. Then on our departure day, we were asked to leave at 8 mins past ten. We were nearly out the door but were asked to leave. Motel not at all busy.

Absolutely crap. Wouldn't recommend it to anybody. Didn't get what we paid for, short on beds for what we paid for. Manager tried to charge us for something extra and once we confronted him about not getting what we paid for and he hid and wouldn't talk to us and hid somewhere within the hotel and had the cleaner sort it out with us. Hotel also looks nothing like it is advertised. Never ever going there again. Wouldn't even give it one star.
