I'm a current resident and for first year it's lots of fun. Lots of people to meet.

The room was very basic, however the RA that checked me in was very nice and accommodating. Great budget option!

Good location. Nice accomadation. Close to university.

Rude, rip you off and don't respond to your requests or telephone calls. They ask you to fill out a "personality sheet" and then put you in a room with the opposite of what you asked for. I'll never forget coming with my kid to a filthy dorm after Christmas holidays and finding a pigsty because one of the people had left and when I asked for a cleaner, I was made to feel like an idiot so spent our return cleaning dirty toilets and greasy kitchens. Generally not at all professional.

Very convenient for university students. Has all facilities necessary.

A bit on the expensive side for what they over.

Disgusting, dirty, no A/C. They're basically just stealing your money and putting you in a rubbish bin.

Awesome community feel, great place to meet people, fantastic for starting your uni experience.

Room was good. Could be noisy at times because of the uni students.

Great value for money. Perfect rooms with large desk for study. Short walk to tram station. Much better then other places I've stayed at on the Gold Coast.

Great place for first years with degrees that may allow for a lot of free time. Not too great for anyone who has a very intense degree.

Staff worked very well. All the services works well and effectively. But one of my apartments had no forks and was really dirty. In the other apartment I stayed for 3 days with no fridge despite the fact that they warned us it would come after 5 days. I didn't stay to check, but I believe it has came.

The place is really close to the uni, and this is the only good point. Rooms are too dirty. It's hard to sleep because of 300 people having party every night. Defenitely not a place for those who want to study!

I found the village to be unprofessional and overpriced. The rooms were dirty on arrival and maintenance takes forever to happen. If you look around there are better places for much cheaper.

Personally — I've just dealt with staff and students as an outside contractor. All my dealings with the university and staff has been very positive — the students love the village and the atmosphere is amazing.

It's very expensive for what you get. Especially for international students who already pay high tuition fees. They charge for laundry. But the village is a great way to meet people.

Had a decent lunch there. Food was good along with service.

Too expensive for students, not worth it.

Rooms are nice but other facilities are meh, not worth the price in my opinion.
