Very pleasant surroundings and we really love the warm spa. Friendly staff and nicely decorated and clean unit.

It's a three star resort. I fixed the towel rail and got 1 of the 3 air conditioner to work. Enjoyed the DIY maintenance experience.

Great place. I would recommend it to anyone who is having a holiday in the Gold coast. Great service and clean rooms.

Value for money, close to beach n everywhere, family size, clean n tidy.

A few days ago lived, the location is very good traffic is also very convenient, live very comfortable, service attitude is also quite good, the most important is the price is absolutely conscience price, good location, low price, so I recommend to everyone.

I stayed at Harbourside Resort at 132 Marine Parade Southport it was a large unit with everything necessary for a long or short stay. The pool is really big as was the spa and there's a 1/2 tennis court. A/c in every room… Overlooking the Broadwater … The staff were really accommodating and the most friendly iv had in any two week stay iv ever experienced.

Friendly staff, nice and clean rooms. Great location. We were very happy with our visit.

I didn't do a review check before I booked and stayed here, Lucky I didn't because reading these comments I wouldn't have stayed here. I'm glad I didn't read them as I had a very pleasant stay here. It was clean and tidy including my linen being fresh. The Asian lady at the front desk was more than helpful to all of my needs. However I never asked for anything as my expectations were already met. I don't know why you all expect these people to give you toilet paper, if you have so many people and children, bring your own. And for $79 per night if you think the furnishings are outdated, go pay $500 per night somewhere else. Theres nothing wrong with older furniture it still serves its purpose. I thought it was a great cheap place to stay with everything I needed. The Asian lady was so caring and kind and even gave me a hug and said see you next time, which I thought was lovely considering what I was about to go through hence the reason I was there. So thank you Harbour Side I will definitely be seeing you next time. Thanks for a comfortable stay!

Terriable arugement 24/7 drugo paradise.

Staff were very friendly and efficient, non judgemental and helpful. THe rooms are clean and air con set to super cold. Pool crystal clear and very reasonable price. I highly recommend this motel.

Easy set-up. Close to shops and attractions!

Room furnitures and facilities are old and not very clean, and the place is noisy at night, everything could be better except a good location.

A BIG THANK YOU to the staff /manager at this wonderful resort. Helpful, friendly and devoted staff. Clean rooms with all facilities u need. Close to transport and a amazing view from the rooms. I will be sad to leave here and would recommend this resort to all.

' Great for families — spacious and affordable ' We enjoyed our stay here, it is great for families. We got the 2 bedroom apartment quite cheap for the new year's period and we were very happy. It is a very large apartment and comes with the basic needs, the air conditioning in the bedrooms and lounge room were wonderful during the extremely hot days we had. My children loved the pool area and we spent nearly a whole day out in the pool area, which is nicely shaded. The location was prime for new year's, across the road we were able to sit on the beach and watch the fireworks. The accommodation building itself has obstructed views of the beach, however that is what going for walks is all about :) My husband and two children would have stayed longer if we had more time off.

Nothing flash but it served the purpose for us which was a bed for the night during our stopover. Did book for 2 Double/Queens and ended up with a double and 2 single. Room run down and in need of a makeover (stained carpets, dirty curtains, ripped screens) but once again served the purpose given the time we were there for. Pool and spa however fantastic! Could of happily stayed in that area the whole time!

Great place to stay. BILL the manager is rhe BEST…. Value for money and rooms were great. And bill"s excellent customer service added to a very pleasant stay.

Would never go back. Room stunk of cigarettes. Tap drip all time in basin in bath room. Note on wall not to shift shower head. Air conditioner did not work.

Harbourside uses dodgy maintenance (handle "stuck" on with silastic) techniques and then charge unsuspecting guests for repairs. Guests beware!

Goodcprice and location. Rooms were average get what u pay for.

Good morning. First off, I would like to thank the man who stayed awake last night to let us in. He was amazing, polite especially seeing as I kept him awake. This morning when I returned my key, the lady who greeted me was disgusting. What I hadnt had a chance to even get out before she lectured me like a child and embarrassed me in front of other patrons, is I was going to give the man who stayed awake for me last night, the key deposit to get himself sone lunch, as a thank you. I also then intended to book a weeks accomodation, for 4 adults, and 3 children to come back and bring my family for a holiday. After the way I was treated, I will no longer be doing so. You my love have disgusting customer service, and I will be leaving negative feedback on all websites available. Again, thank you to the man who stayed up for us (even after he had explained that he was waiting for someone who didn't even have to decency to cancel). Again I am disgusted at how I was spoken to and embarrassed this morning.

Terrible! The room wasn't made when I arrived, dirty towels still on the bathroom floor. The room, bathroom, pillows and bed definately weren't the freshest smelling either! I had to wait half hour for cleaning staff to arrive. They advertised 24hr reception until I tried to get in contact with them, then it was almost impossible.

There is no communication with the manager on the weekend. When enquiring about a challange from a permanent resident about parking procedure she hung up and would not answer phone after that. Another resident help us. Air conditioner and exhaust fan did not work. The place smelt like cigarettes. Please do not book here. Good thing it was clean.

This place needs a total makeover, its outdated,, unclean, tap in bathroom makes a very loud noise the whole time its turned on, I am sure the nearby tenants hear it too everytime I have to wash my hands. No courtesy toiletries, walkways and stairs outside the unit are dirty too. I wouldn't call this place a resort, they are more like very cheap wuality budget units. The large dark drapes in the bedrooms are freaky at night.

The Old chinese woman staff is unfriendly and rude. Asked about the Wi-Fi connection which I paid for 4 nights, which we thought is free Wi-Fi don't wanna know about it. The second time I inquire about it she started yelling. WTF! So I yelled back at her and she said to me Why are you yelling? Ah Duhhhh. On our 3rd Day I asked for 2 fresh towels an d that cost us $2. We didn't even bother to ask them to clean our room maybe that's going to cost us too. Zero star for this place. But I have to click one star so I can post my message.

The service is basic the price is reasonable should have just stayed in the backpackers.

It is so affortable and it has all the facilities needed, cannot find anywhere with a kitchen in this price range.

It's not the best. It really stinks. Not much kitchen ware is provided. Really needs some air freshener.

It all started with my booking, on three occasions Harbourside lost my booking and each time I rang to confirm I had to re-book. Finally my booking was sorted about a week prior to my arrival and payment was made in full for a 2 week stay, late check-in organized and advised an sms code will be sent with password by 9am on arrival day to obtain room keys. On my day of arrival, no SMS code sent prior to me boarding the plane, so I rang to confirm code to be sent and was told, I'm sorry we have no booking for you (even though I paid in full 1 week earlier) lucky I got an email confirmation this time and had to resend the email they sent me so I could get my code to collect room keys. This took 3 1/2 hours to rectify. After collecting keys, I preceded to my room on the 3rd floor and found no elevator and 4 flights of stairs. WTH! That was not mentioned on website, lucky I am young and fit. When I thought it couldn't get any worse, I opened my room to find no towels, only a bathmat, now 9pm with an early start in the morning what else could possibly go wrong. The next morning, I discovered the pool, how nice but on returning that afternoon it was emptied and stayed emptied for 7 days. I seen reception for some towels and was questioned as to why I needed towels another lady also requiring towels was told she had to pay for them? Oh and that she found dirty underwear behind the room door. So 1 hour later I finally got two towels.

On arrival, found room closed up and smelling very strongly of cigarette smoke (and this was a non-smoking room booking! ). Pillows and bed linen also smelled and had stains. Toilet cistern leaked and was constantly refilling. Bathroom blinds were broken so neighbouring units could see in to room. Towels weren't supplied. TV didn't work. Couch fabric was all torn.

Sent my staff to work in southort, their feedback this morning was as follows. Beds very hard, tried to have a shower at 430am to go to work and no water pressure, no hot water after 20minute wait.
