Perfect position close to all amenities and perfect views over the esplanade and beyond. To cap it off our 11th floor unit is very comfortable.

Great position and views Next to some very good restaurants Balconies look over the cairns esplanade Aircon and fans If needed Lovely old building.

Dirty, Wi-Fi never worked despite high cost.

Location is awesome, very very clean, quiet, perfect.

Customer service is brilliant and great location.

Came to stay with our 3 grandboys for holidays. Just terrific. Didnt need to hire a car as so close to everything. Day one had to get a taxi home with all the groceries. $10. The rest of the time we walked and tour buses pick you up at the door. 2 pools. FANTASTIC views, you can just sit and watch the w orld go by on your balcony. Nice and clean. Right next door to RSL which do great meals for great prices.

Totally enjoyed our stay here. Lovely apartment, extremely comfortable and clean. Walking distance to dining, marina and all the sights. Definitely coming back. Troy and Elisabeth were fantastic hosts and made our stay pleasurable. Thankyou.

Stayed for 8 nights, Great location and perfect views. Apartment was impeccably clean and Don and Shere were very polite and friendly. Definately going back next year. Lots of natural light in apartments and was getting a nice breeze through. Strongly recommend Cairns Aquarius Holiday Apartments to anyone.

No major problems with my apartment (just minor ones), which was spacious, modern and clean. It's not luxury but you'd have to pay more for luxury. It's a perfect location opposite the water but close to everything. We made good use of the balcony but it got a lot of noise from the RSL airconditioners (Apt 22 on the 3rd floor — higher up would be much better), plus you have to make sure that all aircon is off when you use the balcony because the external units are cunningly positioned to blow hot air over anyone using the balcony. I might be being generous with the score but I had a great week at a decent price so I don't care. Only being on a higher floor would have made a big difference.

Had a fantastic holiday here with the family (including young children). Apartment had everything we needed including washing machine and all cooking necessitites — very clean and stylishly decoraterd. We chose a garden level unit because of young children and we still had a view of the Coral Sea! Easy access to two great pools from our balcony. Within walking distance to lagoon, children's water park Muddy's and shops and markets. Loved it and we hope to return.

Great Holiday — Tom Perth I have spent my life travelling all over the world. There are few places on this planet that I have not been to. My recent 5 day stay at Cairns Aquarius is the first time I have felt compelled to tell the world about this amazing venue. My preference was for a higher floor with panoramic sea views. All booked! The only remaining apartment was the garden suite. Absolutely brilliant. The apartment still had sea views from an enormous balcony/entertainment area. Direct access to a lovely swimming pool through beautifully landscaped gardens. I cannot speak highly enough of Cairns Aquarius. Spotlessly clean, with every facility to make our family stay perfect. Imagine sitting on your balcony watching luxury liners cruise in up the channel 300 metres from where you are having breakfast. We saw three arrive and leave during our short stay. Writing this on the plane flying back to Perth makes me wish I was back there. And I will be.

"WOW, need I say more" wow, this place was the best'; extremely comfortable location. Brilliant; view amazing, we enjoyed the balcony sitting there and taking it all in, my girlfriend and I fell in love with the place, the rooms are large and comfortable, so close to all the amenities, we made the most of hitting the streets to the markets, the restaurants, the esplanade and the lagoon. Everything that you are looking for is here. A huge 'thank you' what an amazing hotel.

I booked the Cairns Aquarius based on the perception received from their web site of modern, beautifully appointed apartments. The reality upon arrival was a unit that resembled a budget 1970’s beach flat. Not at all what we were expecting, particularly when I had phoned to make the booking and specifically asked for a description of the unit. This would have been the perfect opportunity for Annette to point out that not all units are up-to-date, but she was more interested in getting my credit card details pronto… Based on this blatant misrepresentation I wouldn’t recommend the Cairns Aquarius to anyone, not until they either bring their units into the 21st century or at the very least make some attempt to differentiate them and charge accordingly. I’d suggest you’d find much better value elsewhere, even if you have to pay slightly more.
