Reception unfriendly the male older man could do with holiday. No checking in after. 6 P. M the eatery kitchen downstairs can be heard in the room… small rooms. Try elsewhere ？

Great accommodation if you are looking for an affordable option in a great location. Price is lower than the average for the area. Located centrally downtown very close to Roma St and Central stations. Rooms are small but comfortable. Very clean. Strong Wi-Fi. We were happy with our stay. Note that reception closes at 8pm, however. Also there is no lift.

Quiet quaint motel. Small yet comfortable room. No lifts but great exercise up to the 4th floor. Clean, tidy, and practical. Close to city and southbank. All we needed for a night away.

Unfortunately this wasn’t the best place to stay. Lots of little things could have really improved our stay. There were 3 of us that were booked in the room but we only received towels etc for 2. Even after calling reception for more towels we received none. I had my very elderly grandparents with me and didn’t realise there wasn’t a lift in the hotel. They had to scale 3 flights of stairs to go to the restaurant and 4flights to the car park. This was possibly my fault for overlooking this; but I think it’s time to move with the times and install a lift. In the restaurant the food was well priced; however, the food wasn’t even as good as I would serve at home. The steak was tough and over cooked the first night, the eggs Benedict were just slapped onto the plate and the lamb shank on a bed of mash was served in a bowl with about 3 cups of gravy so it was like having gravy soup. I actually had to pick the food out if the bowl and transfer them to a plate. The chef would not leave us alone. Every single meal he felt it necessary to come out of the kitchen and chat to us. We would be having a private conversation at our table and he would just come over and but in. The first time we were polite but then it kept happening. You also had to pay for self serve tea and coffee that was exactly the same as what you got in your room — the really cheap coffee sachets.

Very clean, simple motel. Friendly staff. Great for basic stay and handy to city and Roma St train and bus stations.

Older Motel but very neat, clean and quiet. Room was small but comfortable and sufficient for our one night. Staff friendly and free parking a bonus for inner city. Not your modern 4-5 star Hotel if that's what you are looking for but great for budget conscious traveler.

Value for money! Very nice place near the center of the city! Clean and tidy!

Terrible place to stay. Hot water constantly cutting in and out it's very frustrating to have a shower. Very rude Australian male staff, all other staff were lovely though. Not even a microwave within room. Carpets are filthy looked like they haven't been cleaned for 20 years. Make sure you get a receipt for your $200 deposit because I was scammed and never had it returned to my account. When I called to sort out banking issues with not receiving my deposit back, the staff member laughed at me and told me I must have spent it. Will never stay here again and highly recommend anyone to stay anywhere but here.

It brings Me very fond memories this place here I was a fantastic weekend.

Great location. Very clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Exceptional value for money. Well priced breakfast in the restaurant. Guest laundry and free parking (limited) were also available.

The location of hotel couldn't be better. It is very close to the city but not in the middle of the craziness of CBD. The communication before my check in was fast and efficient. I checked in after hours and everything had been arranged. The room was smaller that I'd expected but it was spotless. And it was decorated tastefully. The staff at the reception and restaurant were nice and smiling. The fact that we had only one option for breakfast was disappointing. Moreover, the parking space was very limited and it caused some problem. Overall I'd stay here again.

Neat, tidy, quiet and clean but the decor is dated and room was small in comparison. No parking available at the time (hotel only has about 15 spots) so had to park 3 blocks away. Free Wi-Fi worked well. Air-con was "old school" but efficient and quiet. 10 mins walk to the City.

The room was nice and the view was acceptable. The main office closes around 6pm and opens again at 8am. Comfortable beds. Nice water pressure.

Unfortunately the night we stayed was the day before a public holiday. We booked with breakfast and no breakfast was available. Left us going it alone. Ther than that room was okay and for our stay was fine.

Compact rooms, walking distance to CBD thru parkland, friendly staff, on-site restaurant.

Great staff and clean, comfortable room. Free parking, but very limited. Biggest issue is noise. We could hear every word of the conversation people were having on the street in front of the apartment hotel next door at 11pm.

Convenient place to stay in Brisbane. Close to CBD yet quiet.

I stayed at the Soho for two nights in August 2015. The room did not have a heater and I was freezing. I asked to be moved, but they could only find me a room on the third floor. I declined as I could not be bothered moving two floors with my crook knee — as there is no lift. The room is very small and facilities although respectable is outdated. Although they advertise free parking — it is on a First in best dressed arrangement. You may not find a car park if it is full. Overall — great location, friendly staff, but facilities and room — substandard.

We stayed in october, and loved it. The room was small but our view was great and the front desk was so kind to us.

Friendly service where the staff clearly remembered me each time we spoke. Good, inner city location handy to all public transport and a short walk to the CBD where I had to work. Basic accommodation, but super clean and well thought out. Comfy beds, free Wi-Fi, warm shower. I had everything I needed and extra money in my pocket because it was so affordable. Great value, lovely and clean, and welcoming. What more could you ask? I will be back.

I would definitely stay at the Soho Brisbane Hotel again, The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, tidy and very sound proof couldn't hear any noise from other rooms or outside. The room is quite small which isn't ideal for long term however perfect for a day or two. I found the hotel was in a very central location which made it easy to travel to the city and back. All in All reasonable price, clean room, free parking, great location.

A small, clean and nicely-run hotel very close to the CBD and the Queen Street Mall, and walking-distance to the Roma Street railway station. Convenient for quick stopovers. Be aware that the hotel is a fairly steep 10-minute walk uphill from the Station, and doesn't have a lift so you may have to lug your luggage a bit.
