It’s always good to be surprised. The reception is the bar. The foyer and ground floor rooms offer something from the decades of style and culture. Then the room. Has everything you need from stylish bathrooms to large bedroom and THE most comfy bed. Yep this will be my Brissy stay of choice.

Ovolo Inchcolm is INCREDIBLE! They were so gracious and accommodating, allowing an early check in and greeting all their guests like they were old friends. Their staff are the friendliest people around and made us feel right at home. This place is one of Brisbane’s best kept secrets and it shouldn’t be… we loved our stay here.

This is a beautiful hotel that is quirky in all the right ways. From checking in at the bar, the funky decor to the magnificence of the room. The art decor classic meeting moderness of alexa brings a very enjoyable experience. The complimentary happy hour, mini bar and breakfast. I'll be back.

What a FABULOUS hotel. They really know how to look after their guests. The room we had was perfect, nice and big with amazing windows. The staff were super attentive and it felt very cosy and personal, just what I like in a hotel. I hate the feeling of being one in 1000 rooms, this felt like home. Hint: Book Directly!

Ovolo hotels are just great and this is no exception. Absolutely friendly staff and good service. Tasty canapés for happy hour. Really liked those. Room and decore are nice especially the old elevator.

I wouldn't call it LUXURY in the classic style but for service friendly and very LUXURY retro-contemporary fun accommodation we loved Melbourne and also enjoyed Brisbane. If you love a complimentary drink plus extras in the fridge or the Happy-Hour deal say no more. Alot of effort has gone into a truly unique hotel experience which is super easy to navigate to and from the airport or the shopping and river front area on foot.

Great location and really wonderful decor and atmosphere. Staff very friendly. Only complaint is that the beds are very soft.

The room was nice however there were renovations going on that were not mentioned on the website. They have been good in the past and I'm sure they will be again however no notification of major works was quite disappointing.

Hands down, the best hotel we have ever stayed at. We went for our wedding anniversary and they both upgraded our hotel, and left us happy anniversary treats! I couldn't recommend this hotel enough and I wish I could rate it more than 5 stars.

I had a lovely stay at this newly-revamped hotel. Brilliant service, great food and drinks, terrific bar and handy location. And when I left something behind in my room, they posted it back overnight without any fuss at all. Strongly recommend.

The New Inchcolm is my home away from home — this history of the building, the staff and it exquisite décor is perfect. I love staying at the New Inchcolm!

Pros: Good location, friendly stuff, good food, tgey gave me a superior suit Cons: the room didn't have slippers, toothpaste, hair dryer. The building doesn't look modern and looks old, but some people may like it this way.

Room a bit smelly from a wonderfully considerate earlier guest who couldn’t help but have a smoke. Otherwise — limited room service menu, but was ok.

Lovely venue, wish our party was on for longer. Waiters and waitresses were hard to get attention for drinks. But still enjoyed the night. Would recommend.

Bar is really good, way way way way much better than sofitel. Tried Panama spiced with ginger ale and lemon — delicious must try :)

From the moment I set my eyes in this hotel I was so empress. Modern suits, incredibly comfortable and luxurious. Bathrooms have the wow factor. Very nice Restaurant down stairs, and the service from staffs is excellent but the price of the food was over the top. We wanna thank shu for hospitality and making sure that we are happy and comfortable and we wanna thank her for looking after us. We definitely coming back…

Location is good. Rooms are nice but bathroom has little counter space and shower has no real separation, so water spreads outside shower area. Service is good.

Stayed one night for a business trip and it has become my new favourite Brisbane hotel. Queen bed was comfortable and was not two single beds pushed together. Slightly better bathroom products (Appelles) and tea selection (T2) than other hotels. Additional menu of different pillow types was amusing. In-room iPad can be used to order room service but I couldn't figure out how to order drinks?

Nice refurbished pub. Great food but not too many beers for a pub.

Just discovered this place, for a romantic night in town, somewhere a little different and a little special definitely give this place a look. Certainly feels a lot more private and exclusive than most other accommodation around town.

It had some beautiful old style and fixture as well as the modern luxuries you would expect in a Hotel today!

Beautiful spacious apartment (Deluxe room). Quality fittings, comfy bed, all good! Restaurant has wonderful food, if a little on the pricey side, although they do accept Accor Club card which makes it more than worth it. Service excellent. Would stay again.

Had dinner here tonight the service was amazing. Didn't have a booking, but luckily they were quiet. We had a drink at the bar and as soon as we mentioned we'd take a seat when they were ready they showed us to our seats straight away. The menu had something for every palate. The presentation of the food was perfect, the waiters and waitresses explained every part of the meal as they placed it in front of you so you knew what you were eating, we've frequented at The Ritz in London and never had such great service. All wait staff knew about all the wines on the menu and could give you informed assistance with your choice and whether it would go alongside your meal. I was with a friend from the UK who said he had never had such great food or service anywhere there, would highly recommend and will be back with more guests!

I was surprised there wasn't free bottled water in rooms. Wi-Fi is very slow. The restaurant is 5 star. Fantastic degustation; that was a wonderful surprise. Due to poor Wi-Fi I probably won't stay there again, however will eat.

Found this interesting & funky little place by chance last night, looking for a bite to eat after late meeting up the road. Fabulous decor, especially the light shades! Cute & friendly waitstaff. Yummy food. Will go back again for sure. They cater for meetings too, so will check that out too, sooner than later. Only open 14 months. Great job!

Nice little boutique hotel in a great location in Brisbane city. Rooms are quite small though so if you are looking for huge spacious rooms then maybe look elsewhere.

Boutique hotel in good location. But breakfast is below average — very small continental selection only. IPad was suppose to come with the room to use for hotel services etc, but regardless of our request we didn't get one at all. The bed was too soft and the bathrooms are ridiculously small to the point where you bump the walls when undressing. And no pool! There are better options to stay — Stamford, Novotel…

Stayed here in July 2015 — absolutely brilliant. Great location, the staff were friendly and eager to help and the rooms/decor was that of the very best hotels.
