I stay at a lot of so called "5 star hotels", but this hotel truly is. The service is attentive. Beds and linen are fabulous. The room service is timely and so easy to order. Best view of the bridge, harbour and Opera house.

Great services. Especially thanks Kazuki (Manager) for quick reactions for my son’s emergency. After that, he still cared about my son’s health. We stayed at the hotel for a special birthday celebration last weekend. The staff were great but I must say I was disappointed with the room having such high expectations of the brand. The biggest issue was the bathroom where there was no water pressure in the shower or bath. When we tried to have a bath, the water trickled out and the shower was not much better. I ended up going for a shower in the gym change room which was an inconvenience and really should not happen in a 5 star hotel. I brought this up when I checked out on Sunday morning and would have thought I would have been contacted by management by now. Still waiting!

Paid $20 for a faster connection which was at best average, but still cut out regularly. … Found the holding charge of $480 deducted and not returned into the credit card 4 days later and advised (very rudely and abruptly) to contact the bank.
For a hotel caught in the middle of the mess that is George St… they won’t be getting any further custom. Nor will I visit the Four Seasons group again. Extremely poor service. Rude and unprofessional.

Loved it from beginning to end. Excellent service and friendly atmosphere. Greeted by Orlando and escorted straight up to the Club Lounge to have breakfast while waiting for our room to be ready. The ladies that were here took great care of us and were so lovely, friendly and informative. Our suite was immaculate and the views were breathtaking. House keeping were lovely and turn down service was so cozy. I did not want to leave and I definitely will be returning for a longer stay.

We couldn't have been looked after any better than what we were at Four Seasons Sydney. Our room was beautifully appointed with million dollar views, staff in club lounge 32 were incredibly accommodating to any request and made us feel like royalty. Most definitely recommend to anyone wanting a little extra special stay in Sydney to come to Four Seasons.

Amazing hotel. We arrived early (7am) and our room was ready. Check in could not have been better and the staff member Harsh was anything but his namesake. The room was beautiful, the bed exquisite. We had a partial harbor view room, and while it was genuinely partial, it was lovely and as described. On asking, a complimentary late check out of 130pm was given to us. Additionally, on realising it was my wife's birthday (on checking ID not because we told him) Harsh had a birthday cake sent to our room! A wonderful stay, would give more than 5 stars if I could.

This hotel is in a lovely Part of Sydney. It will be even better once the behind schedule light rail line is completed and operational. The hotel itself is a wonderful place. I have only been there for conferences but what I have experienced it is wonderful. The staff are always happy and pleasant and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Very close to Circular Quay and the Rocks which is very historic.

My wife organised a booking for two other couples as well as ourselves last Monday evening.
The theme was truffles which were used in all courses,. Even the dessert!
All delicious complimented by excellent attentive service & good wine.
Our attentive Italian host Alessio (Not sure of the spelling. ) guiding us through the menu & choices ably assisted by his equally attentive waiter.
We thought we wouldn’t have room for sweets but we did & we were glad we did.

Stayed in a club room for a few nights to celebrate my wife's birthday. Beautiful room with a view of the harbour bridge, opera house and the busy ferry and overseas cruise terminals. Very entertaining. Club lounge was excellent and all staff efficient and obliging. Perfectly located with easy access to all public transport at circular quay.

Favourite hotel in Sydney (and Australia! ). Have stayed multiple times now and has been fantastic every time. The view is phenomenal of the opera house and harbour. The room was immaculate. Wait staff super friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet was delicious food and amazing presentation. Lots of little touches you don’t get in other hotels which makes your stay that much more enjoyable.

What an absolutely amazing experience! The House Staff… The view… The In Room Dining… The Concierge… My husband Ken arranged for a weekend away in Sydney for my Birthday … The room fantastic. The view amazing … They had a delicious little cake with all the trimmings in our room just perfect in every way. Ken's Birthday is a couple days after mine… Somehow they found out and had a bottle of bubbles & glasses waiting for us after our day out. I would highly recommend the Four Season's Sydney they have gone above & beyond any expectation's I have experienced. Thank you sooooo much… We will be back.

Location, location, location. Not to mention the views. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The Rocks is metres from the hotel entrance and Circular Quay is a few strides more.
Catch the ferry or the train — both are only a short stroll. Leave your car at home or with the Valet for your stay. It was the perfect location to be in the midst of Vivid.
You are spoilt for choice when it comes to dining — from market street vendors to high end restaurants.
Hop on a ferry to Manly, Darling Harbour, Luna Park or the Taronga Zoo. Buy a weekend Opal Pass for $20 and Sydney is your oyster to view in your own time, buses, ferries and trains.
The views from a room with a Harbour View are special — the Harbour lit up at night or bathed in sunshine and blue skies — it really does rate as one of the most beautiful parts of Australia.

I was very fortunate to go with my daughter for my birthday weekend, we were pampered from the moment we stepped out the car, the staff are outstanding, I was spoilt with a very tasty gorgeous cake in our room along with a birthday card from the Manager, the view from our very comfortable, immaculate room was stunning, overlooking the bridge and the opera house everything we asked for when we booked, we ordered room service for dinner one night, just amazing, the service, the food, even fresh flowers on the table, very tastefully served. Every evening they brought fresh bottles of water, and turned the bed down, attention to every detail is taken care of, and a buffet breakfast fit for a king, an array of food to cover everyone's needs and more. Thank you Four Seasons we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and you should be proud of yourselves!

Quality hotel with great customer service. The room was clean but a bit small. The furnishings are quality but dated. The swimming pool is nicely heated, I enjoyed it on a fall day. The hot tub was nice and warm but there were many tiles missing and it is in serious need of repair.

I attended a function in the downstairs ball room. So room looked amazing. The food was great considering there were more than a few hundred people. It was a successful night.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. The staff are all very accommodating. There is a lot of construction going on in George street so its very noisy when trying to relax by the pool — this is only a temporary issue.

Nice room, very clean (the towels and the bed’s sheets are shining, the toilet 5/5), good light and ventilation. The functionality of the room (even for the small ones) is good. I’ve appreciated a very good noise insulation in the room. (When we got our room a small child was crying/ screaming with the door open from the neighboring room. I said to myself: “our peaceful stay is finished ” … I was wrong … ☺️✨ once you close the door, you can’t hear anything from outside. ) It’s the second time when we chose this hotel. Ps: The proximity to harbor area is also a big “plus”. Nice atmosphere at the hotel’s bar.

The hotel is quite old and showing its age somewhat but everything still works when you want it to so the age doesn't matter. Probably the best located hotel for tourists. The swimming pool is the best in Sydney. They have a hot pool (hot tub size) and a cold pool (huge). The cold pool is heated still so some people will find it warm. I found it perfect as I could swim around a lot and not get to cold or to hot. The service was very good when we used it but we are low maintenance so didn't test them much. We found the room keeping to be a bit inconsistent and sometimes annoying. Things like coiling up my charger cables into a loop were annoying. Forgetting to give my son a bathrobe after two days of giving us one. Not putting the cigar pillows on our bed for the last 2 nights. Just little things. I also couldn't find a "list of services/amenities" books that most hotels have. I'd like to have known how much laundry costs and how to request different pillows etc. I prefer not to call the desk for every little trivial question I have. I gave 5 stars because I emailed ahead and asked for a tiny view of the Opera House from my City view room and they said it wasn't possible because the hotel was booked. However when we arrived they had given us exactly what I'd requested. Made our stay that much better.

Actually the hotel was so old. But I love here atmosphere. That's really classic. All staff are gentle and friendly! Especially Myron is very nice person ever I met. The hotel gave us special Chocolate (Harbour bridge model chocolate). I was so surprised and touched. Thank you Myron so much for treating us gently! The hotel is exquisite. I love their spectacular views. You can see opera and Harbour bridge at the same time.

The hotel is exquisite. The staff are amazing and extremely accommodating. Anything you need, you can easily ring housekeeping, room service or visit the concierge in person. They go above and beyond to provide you with maos and detailed directions on how to get to certain points. Their recommendations are always great and you'll love talking with them about anything.

Finally cleaned those gorgeous crystal chandeliers in the lobby! Climate control still leaks cold damp air on upper floors, worse on the hottest day in Australian history. But the room materials and finishes are still memorable and classic, not dated in any way. Breakfast service is nice, but frosted glass panels in dining area feel claustrophobic and cut off the viewing potential of the magnificent lobby and its various overlooks above. Location is excellent, only slight luggage incline from train stop.

The rooms are very good size but the bathrooms are a bit old and the breakfast does not have much variety and some of the things are ugly.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highlight is the rooftop terrace with views of the Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera! Gorgeous!

We stayed at the Four Seasons for 1 nights for our 3 years anniversary on boxing day. All I can say is FABULOUS. A perfect location with top notch service. My room had a view of the harbour and the opera house. I've seen better pools, but the views, style, and location of this hotel make it wonderfully superb!

I stayed 2 nights in corner harbor view suite. The view was lovely and the suite was very nice. The room service was exceptional and the staff were polite, warm and friendly. I did feel the price was a little more than it should be mainly due to some aspects of the hotel felt a little tired and in need of some refurbishing. But it was comfortable. I was a little disappointed in the outside pool. Perhaps enclosing it with a retractable or fixed roof would be a good upgrade :) made affordable with those higher rates.

Five stars, just what you’d expect from a four seasons. The hotel is outstanding. The rooms are very luxurious, and the views are great. The staff was super friendly. And, the hotel is within walking distance to many places such as restaurants and local tourist sites. I’m sure this place can be pricey, but I was able to get a pretty good deal. You just have to look around.

Undergoing renovations and the street is having a tram installed, so I had to take a star away for the ongoing construction, but the staff is world class. When the hotel is complete, it will be THE place to stay in Sydney, hands down. It is steps away from everywhere you want to be and the service is spectacular.

Very short walk to Circular Quay and the Rocks. Right in the middle of where you want to be! Top shelf hotel. Get the rate with the breakfast buffet included — it is awesome! Too many choices to mention with terrific baked goods and pastries.

Nice rooms with all the standard stuff you need. Helpful and friendly service. Outside of hotel looks a bit dated (currently being renovated) but inside is fine. Great central location of your want to explore Sydney on foot.

We had a great stay here! We came on our honeymoon, and we were greeted in our room with a complimentary bottle of wine. Perfect location for visitors. Close to the train station and The Rocks. We also had an awesome view of the Sydney Opera House from our room. The staff was friendly and very kind and helpful. We'd love to return!

Truly a first class experience. Rooms are update, comfortable, top notch. Staff is helpful, warm and friendly. There is no detail forgotten. In a beautiful location overlooking the harbor. I had a beautiful view of the Opera House.

High vaulted ceiling entrance and lobby is a welcoming and generius space that is exciting to enter. A black Ferrari is on. Disolay in the lobby at present that adds style and prestige. I was just visiting today u have srayed overnight in the past and attended many functions here and always pleasant and memorable. Recommended.

Well what do I say? Having lived and worked in Singapore and eaten and stayed at the Four Seasons in Singapore I'm a bit disappointed with Sydney. The rooms are lovely and clean and staff are happy to help. But disappointed with having to pay to park a car when in Singapore its included in the price. Swimming pool isn't that big and you are in full view of those driving over the fly over and heading down from a hotel opposite. Maybe I've been spoilt in Singapore but not what I expected.

This place has one of the greatest views of Sydney Harbour. Both the hotel room and bathroom were very spacious. Staff very accommodating and friendly. If you valet your car, make sure you allow ample time for them to get it as this seem to take a long time. No I wasn't impatient :-) Overall, a wonderful 2 night stay.

We recently celebrated my husband's 79th birthday at the property (always a favourite place to stay in Sydney for us) and everything was perfect. Lovely room, great customer service, and excellent dining opportunities. However this time the hotel staff in the Pei Breakfast area outdid themselves. The Manager, Michael, has everybody trained to perfection and therefore one of his team, a delightful young lady, herself a trainee, alerted him to the fact it was my husbands birthday. Within a short time he was presented with a birthday card, signed by ALL the staff in the restaurant, and a special plate with "Happy Birthday for 79th" written in chocolate, and four amazing chocolates. It meant so much and will be remembered for a long time. It should also be remembered that in similar hotels of the same standard, with all the fantastic flower displays, gilt and marble, all technology, something so simple as a personalised card, a simple and sincere warm greeting, actually defines the property from a good hotel to a GREAT HOTEL! We will be back for the big 80th in March 2017!

Attended a conference at this hotel and was well taken care of. Staff were always available, polite, and one even offered to make a coffee for me when he noticed I was struggling with full hands. Conference space was setup well, cleaned and restocked between sessions, and overall quite good.

This once premiere cbd hotel is now very tired and no doubt in line for a knockdown/rebuild given the site value. Much of the quay iarea s awaiting a renewal which could trigger a fix for the 4 Seasons. Small rooms. Dated interior decor. Attentive staff unable to compensate for for a building that, like your grandmothers kitchen, appears `on hold' pending something new to happen.

I have worked at tourism business from 1998-2008 at ROBINSON CLUB Soma Bay — Red Sea — EGYPT, so my eyes would see different small details more than normal guest, I can confirm : Since I had the first welcoming from the Hotel bellman, I knew that every small detail inside the hotel is good, and it was. F. O. Agent was fantastic, uniform, spirit, the helping & welcoming attitude, delivering information with a smile, all made me comfort before I see my room 2804. Hotel design is fantastic, rooms are very clean, very organized, the HK department is doing a great job, the welcoming note on room TV with my name, the room setup & furniture is great, room is very relaxing, room supplies are A1. And just to mention, I had my booking originally with Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Sydney but I had to cancel it because of a call with their reservation team, when I was asking for late checkout, but the attitude over the phone from whoever answered my call, was enough for me to cancel my booking and I was lucky to do that, to know a special place like Four Seasons Hotel Sydney. I had to do late check out at 02:00 PM due to my business trip requirement, my request of using hotel facility to have a shower and change was accepted with a fantastic smile from F. O. Agent.

F service attitude is good, room decoration is also very sweet, just inside Chinatown, Little further.

My wife and I stayed here last month and simply loved it! So close to everything around the quay, including public transportation to all corners of Australia. The views of the harbor, bridge and opera house are magnificent. Check in was a breeze; we were even able to check into our room at 9 am after an early arrival in Sydney. The housekeeping staff was top notch and kept the room absolutely spotless.

I attended a lunchtime talk here on a Friday and it was exactly as I expected. The staff was polite, neat and friendly. The 2 course lunch was great and AV for the function had no issues. Apart from being able to hear next doors function sing the national anthem and God save the queen, it was a good lunch.

I first stayed at Four Seasons Sydney on my wedding night, The service was wonderful, the view from our room was breathtaking, and every moment of our stay was beyond my expectations. When we arrived, there were platters of food waiting. Described as "light refreshments" in our honeymoon package, we could not believe the amount of food that had been prepared. After not eating a full dinner, we were well fed after eating everything on the platters — a selection of gourmet savoury and sweet snacks. As we do not drink alcohol, we asked for a non-alcoholic alternative which the hotel organised for us before we arrived. We have returned on our anniversary every year and have never been disappointed.

Went there for a drink and it was absolutely stunning! The place is so peaceful, I really loved the decoration with all this wood! But the drinks were even better. Very nice staff as well.

Best creme brulee in town, italian style quiet bar in the foyer for visitors to chill out good location at circular quay price reasonable.
