3* Star Hotels in Progreso near Progreso Beach3*

This hotel is mid. Let me start with the pro’s: great location on the malecon, straight across the beach.

On my first day staying at the Hotel Scappata, not only did they kindly store my bag for hours before check-in, but they went above and beyond to help me. I had ditched my bag with them to go check

Beautiful place. Dining room has open windows and gentle breeze. Good food. Rooms are nice and clean and very cool.

This is a hotel in a beautiful old colonial building.

The rooms are ok the staff was great. But be forewarned. This hotel is right on the beach. There is a fair amount of noise in mornings and nights and during the day.

Rooms were clean. Great last minute one night find.

Nice fridge.
Wide easy to climb stairs but no elevator. Not a priblem for us but could be for some.

Very relaxing beach. Clean with places to eat steps away from the beach.
Using ride share was easy to use. There are rental options for umbrellas, chairs and tables.

Good solid wiwi close to the beach (on block) and hot showers. Hard beads thou! And the price was more then it should be compared to Merida. Staff was extremely helpful thou.
