A fun concept and the design was great. Terrific service! Needs refreshing i. E. Towels are stained and a little bit shredded.

Upon arrival my wife and I were hesttant on our choice as it is a 15 min walk from the central square (where most things are). The pool seemed small and we were just weary on our choice.

This is a special place. It's very old and beautifully decorated, and the pool is a cool oasis on a hot day.

Great spot! It is a great price for just needing a place to sleep. Juan Carlos was very accommodating and kind. I appreciate his help and recommendations. It is very much a local boutique feel.

Great location between the centro and the paseo. Super friendly service and a great place to relax with the pool and patio. Full kitchen available for use too.

Escentrice Hostel is really cool and stylish. Also the people who work there are lovely and helpful. I had to check in 6am, which was okay. They have 24h front desk.

Giving 4 stars because of the very nice staff, and the relatively low price point. The hotel is old, and can use renovation front to back. Don't expect any luxuries here.

If you are looking to visit Merida on vacation and want to have access to the central market and square, while not staying directly on the square in order to experience a more authentic, local stay

Great place located in downtown Merida but not too far from the airport. Walking distance to the square with restaurants and food offerings close by. Rooms were spacious, clean and nice.

Would have liked more than two bottles of free water for our 5 day stay, but everything else all good. Terrance rooms with plunge bath are a real siesta treat in the hot hot weather.

Not the most social hostel and a bit of a walk from the city centre. Shared dorms are small and didn't have any windows, free breakfast was nice but had mouldy bread one of the days.

By far the most beautiful, comfortable and well kept hostels I’ve stayed in. Especially for the price, you cannot ask for more.

Looks just like the pictures. The dark haired girl at reception is incredibly friendly.
Mind you that the pool is too small for doing laps just a quick plunge.
It is a very instagrammable place.

There is an exceptional staff working here which suggests the employers are fair people. I have always enjoyed the fact that it is a smallish hotel owned by a Mexican family.

Fabulous option for the price point. Room was bare and spotlessly clean. Basic amenities, but had good water pressure and not too soft bed. AC worked. Staff was friendly. Great location.

Food is very average for the price you pay. Bit over expensive. Service is friendly but could be faster on the terrace. There are better options available for breakfast near by.

Perfect location. Room was ok, but sometimes the tap water was coming out green and really bad smelling. One morning there was no water from the tap.

This hotel was so lovely to stay at with so many wonderful things! First, the building is historic — originally a home over 200 years ago.

Great location! In the center of Merida with walking access to anything you could want. Active night life with sing dancing and music at night. Beautiful shopping area and beautiful architecture.

The hotel is comfortable, very well-located (only 4.5 blocks away from the city centre), and clean. It is managed by Fer and Nancy, who are super friendly and welcoming towards all tourists.

It was a very nice stay. They even let us check in early. Same as all the other reviews, the bathroom is incredibly tiny and little space between the edge of the toilet and the wall.

I needed a retreat from my house in Cholul and Hotel Boutique Casa Azuli was the perfect choice. The customer service was impeccable!

The rooms are great and spacious, the only complaint about them that the bed are small 180cm*140cm, bearly fit a couple.
The hotel is nice and comfy.
