I had the opportunity to have dinner yesterday in his restaurant, the delicious food, the mojitos combined perfectly, the terrace is very nice, and Mr. Luis' attention was 10, my friend had a very good birthday, thank you very much, we hope to return soon.

A very comfortable hotel my wife delighted with the attention of all the staff and facilities of the hotel very rustic and beautiful part of the hotel was in remodeling but that did not prevent us from enjoying its facilities that go back to another time the very rich food and the terrace back very beautiful for a pleasant night, all the very friendly staff we will return to the water stone hotel.

Nice stay attentive staff. Despite the remodeling we enjoyed our stay. The receptionist Diana is very friendly!

The place is in deplorable conditions, the rooms are full of moisture and mold
There is no cable or telephone, no hot water and the place counts a terrible hygiene because there are parts that are full of dust, the bathroom with tartar and the pillows and mattress are full of yellow spots and other guests' hair.
It certainly isn't worth half the price it has and has facilities that could be even worse than a fourth-rate motel.

I loved it. Has a vibrates old. Diana the girl in front desk is a charm. The service is very good and the hotel is beautiful. Without a doubt I will come back.

Excellent food and very good atmosphere with a view of the cathedral!

The first night we stayed we decided to dine at the hotel, we ordered pizza and a salad, the salad takes me a lot and was very bad to pay $150 for pure lettuce, was reported to the waiter and he apologized saying it had few ingredients and dressing that was Gourmet, as if I had never order at any other restaurant a caesar salad, to the pizza or gave us plates and I had to ask for everything, sauces, napkins, etc… is not happy.

The staff are very helpful the location is perfect. There is no Elevator.

Has all the basics but extra friendly staff. Love the location. Parking is a pain for all local hotels but the staff helps.

Stayed with a group for a week and couldn’t have been happier. The food was excellent and the staff was extremely accommodating to our schedule. I still think about sitting in their courtyard in the evenings sharing drinks as the evening cools off. It’s location is perfect for seeing the festivities during the Mayan Cultural Festival in September.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the rooms were very small and the room was very clean and the breakfast was very good and the food was very nice… Very Careless the hotel.

It is in the heart of the city, the crafts that there are in great variety and the people that this disfrutandl of the history, customs, language, everything is beautiful…

The second & third floor of this Hotel, there is no internet. Only internet on the first floor. I had to ask for an extension to charge my cell & lpad. One plug for the entire room, the hotel is over 70 yrs old. Needs upkeep. Air — cond. Needed a charge.

Great food. Great staff. Beautiful courtyard restaurant. So glad we stumbled across this place.

The staff is VERY helpful, and always ready to help. The location only about 50 meters away from the Zocalo is fantastic. The pool and bar area is great too. The room was large enough, clean, and the beds were comfortable. Now the only down sides. The bathroom was a little antiquated, and the pool closing at 7:30pm is too early. But I would not hesitate to go back. Good job Piedra de Agua!

The dinner in the cava was wonderful, the food delicious and the attention luxurious. My congratulations to the chef and waiter who attended us, definitely a beautiful place for a special celebration.

The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are beautiful. They have a little restaurant in the lobby. They have a small pool in the back of the hotel with a nice bar. They even have a spa inside the hotel. But they don't have very many plugs for phones. The beds are very stiff.

Beautiful hotel with open, courtyard concept. Acomadating and friendly staff and delicious pizza. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with decorative canopies. Crazy high ceilings. Felt very luxurious and colonial. There is a nice little open air bar / restaurant out back. Small pool and hammocks too. Cooking staff seemed to struggle to get food out promptly. "Five minutes" could mean anything, from 20 to 40, which made it difficult to plan. That is the reason for the lost star. Regular and generous tipping seemed to result in faster service, which shouldn't be a surprise. Good location and proximity to Centro action. A good gordita place is a few doors down if you are into more authentic food experiences. With the exception of pizza and Mexican eggs, I found the food at Piedra de Agua to be pretty boring. Probably because they kept serving us confusing versions of Italian staples. I would have liked more Mexican. Would definitely go back for the location alone.

This was the most remarkable experience in terms of being immersed in the cultural experience. The history, the sights, the food, but mostly, the people, were beyond wonderful. The staff were welcoming and attentive; the rooms were quaint with beautiful "Princess Style" netting; the whole hotel was a beautiful setting with a lovely patio out the back to relax and enjoy; the food was incredibly fresh and delicious and added to the whole Mexican experience. The staff was so wonderful, it was a really a family by the time we went to leave, everyone even hugged goodbye, it was so touching and really sad to leave. Thanks to all the staff for the incredible experience! So, if you are looking to really experience what Mexico has to offer, I highly recommend!

Beautiful building, but needs a lot of work to be considered boutique. Beds are very uncomfortable, AC breaks regularly, bathrooms need repair, towels are small and rough on skin, housekeeping comes regularly but inconsistently replaces the right supplies. Staff is excellent, food is excellent, free bottled water, cute shampoo and soap bottles in the bathroom, excellent water pressure and temperature, pool/hammock are is cozy and pleasant. I would recommend starting here with the caveat of the above issues.

Small space but very cozy.

The staff is amazing! The hotel was a transportation in time to simpler, more elegant era. Beautiful and welcoming. A few feet from city center and the most beautiful architectural views. As a first timer to Mérida, this was an excellent introduction.

Boutique Hotel, very well maintained, with elements of decoration pleasant. The staff is attentive and the owners are always near, looking for support.

Celebrated another anniversary at La Piedra de Agua restaurant. The staff was amazing, never overdoing, however inquiring as to our needs when necessary. All the plans and scheduling ahead of time including the table, special recorded music and actual live music, the flowers kept in the fridge, and the cake were ready with the proper details that was brought in by the the team even if it was not on the menu. A welcome that made evryone feel special and the wood fired pizza with arugula as requested was amazing. When we have special moments to celebrate or clients to show the beauty of the wonderful Merida this is among the first choices.

Great little hotel in the heart of the historical center. The hotel is a historical building itself. Small but nice hotel in the city center with restaurants, bars, theaters around every corner. Staff is great, food is good at hotel, & drinks are good at bar. Music on weekend nights by the pool but pool is very small. Good hotel, great price.

Beautiful!. The services offered are very good, the beds are comfortable and the pillows giants. The interiors are of old house. Lack to take care of some details of interior. Excellent option to stay. Good Quality/Price ratio.

We had a fantastic evening in the bar here. Service was exceptional, music beautiful, food tasty and drinks fantastic! We have been travelling for 3 weeks now and this was our favourite evening by far. Beautiful views of the cathedral towers too!

The food was really good, a little bit expensive but the experience worth it because you have and amazing view. The service was very attentive!

You are downtown so no complains about traffic noise and small rooms. It definitely could be cleaner. Floor of the room and some parts at the restaurant were dusty. That's something I hardly experience at hotels. Internet connectivity was also a challange. Staff was very friendly, helpfull and attentive.

In general the hotel staff are very friendly with the exception of the new hostes who was very descortes (a girl with glasses that is not of Yucatan, and I seem never to have seen her there, now that I've gone on several occasions) in the world of the hotería and service you can not behave in this way, at this time we don't went so well, I am very desepcionada. I have stayed many times and had always been super great until today. We arrived and were not able to give me a crib for my baby until the second night obvious the first we did not sleep taking care not to fall off the bed that moves a lot, also leave a milk of my baby in the refrigerator that someone (I assume the toilet) sleeping bag and or shot without asking for apology, the room phone never worked when you try to call on different occasions, or when you try to ask for room service, or when I tried to ask for help with the luggage and to finish already almost out the new hostes went to touch my door to threaten that if we don't go out on time would be an extra charge when my husband was already down looking for the car, and they knew I alone with the baby and luggage juggling bone thanks (as if it were a hotel of fifth category) rooms clean as always and the amenities also. Not if the service is declining or it was just too much bad luck our. Honestly I hope that improves.

Beautiful hotel I really loved it the only thing was the restroom would not fush, and hot water some times would not come out, we ate at the restaurant the food was very good but it took too long to serve, other than that it was beautiful I liked the bar and the pool area, very nice for the price.
