Berlin Hotels near Bernauer Strasse

My family stayed in two rooms in July 2026, and we cannot say enough good things about the location, the facilities, and the staff. The rooms were clean, in good repair and had nice amenities.

My husband and I had a lovely 4 night stay at Hotel Kastienhof. It is a clean, quiet, comfortable hotel in the Prenzlauerberg neighborhood.

We had a wonderful city break in Berlin. We were greeted on arrival by Maria. She was welcoming and gave us so much helpful information re Berlin.

We had a lovely time celebrating my mum’s birthday at the Gate Garden!

Just spent a week at the Circus Apartments in Berlin. I really enjoyed the stay in a very clean and well equipped one bedroom apartment.

We had an amazing stay with our one year old kid.

I loved my stay at Hotel CALMA Berlin Mitte! The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean, with thoughtful, modern design made that everything feel calm and inviting.

We stayed here for 3 nights in 2 x M rooms. Rooms were a great size and overlooked the courtyard so were nice and quiet. We enjoyed the underfloor heating in the bathroom.

What more do you need for a city break, plus cool locations all around and a quick connection to the city.

Downtown Apartments Berlin Mitte is a great option for accommodation when visiting Berlin.
We booked a ‘Bright Outlook Room’ which was generous for 3 people.

The rooms are well appointed and comfortable with style and atmosphere. If one doesn't feel like venturing out it is still a pleasure to just remain in the room. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

This is a very nice, affordable hotel. Beautiful lobby, very nice staff. Cozy bar.
Our room was very nice, though lacking in power outlets near the beds. Came with a fully equipped mini-kitchen.

Great location, beautiful building, wonderful atmosphere.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Berlin. Loved the atmosphere of the hotels. Rooms are cozy and interior is beautiful. Staff is friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back.

What a treasure! The feel of a lovingly maintained bed and breakfast in an historic building, but the privacy of a hotel.

Great hotel.

Spacious room. Great location, close to metro, tram and bus.

What can I say? We had the most fantastic studio apartment facing out on to the street, perfectly located for the underground and a range of different amenities such as shops and restaurants.

I was staying here for a week, and I love the hotel! It's perfectly located (only less than 5 minutes walk to the metro station), and close to all of the main tourist attractions.

Rooms are clean and well presented.

Perfect spot for a stay in Berlin. Spent 5 nights here and it was great. Close to public transport, most things to see in the area in walking distance.

This place is offers elite level service. The rooms are amazing and the staff cannot do enough for you.

Wouldn’t ever stay anywhere else in Berlin! Unique rooms, great location, perfect and personal service. A plus is the kitchen! I just love Gorki Apartments ♥️

Clean.
Quiet.
Helpful staff.
Central location.
Amazing (! ) breakfast, very "vegan-oriented".
Nice gym.

I stayed here prior to a work week so this was a leisure stay and I was so happy with my pick. This place felt so homely from check-in to check-out.

Stayed here 4 nights. Basic, but super clean, friendly, secure and great location. Restaurants, bars, supermarkets, U bahn all very nearby.

Amazing location. We barely left the neighborhood because everything was within a short walk. The room was quiet, lovely courtyard just outside the door. Large comfortable bed.

We have just returned from a 3 week trip to Europe and our stay in Berlin was an absolute highlight — and our accommodation at Brilliant Apartments was a major reason why.

Great find in the Berlin area! My husband and I were traveling for the marathon with his brother and we needed a two bedroom place.

I really enjoyed my stay in this appartament. Very good located, u are in the heart of the city. Super recommended.

Perfect spot. Close to several stations and an easy walk to the city center, with plenty of cafés, food options, and bookstores all around.

Just back from a 4 night stay at this hotel. Lots of positives. Very clean and very comfortable bed. Really good location, close to restaurants, bars and station.

This was my first time staying at an easyHotel, I wasn't expecting much, and to be honest, feared the worst, however it was a very good stay!

Everything was near perfect, except the soft bed and the lack of space to put our shower gels in the bathroom. Good location, too.
