easyHotel Berlin Hackescher Markt

This was my first time staying at an easyHotel, I wasn't expecting much, and to be honest, feared the worst, however it was a very good stay! The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the room itself was very clean and comfortable. The bed was really nice, lots of space, clean and comfy duvets and plenty of pillows. The toilet and shower were both clean and the shower was really powerful and sensitive to temperature change. It's quite close to all the main tourist attractions and for the price, I'm really really happy. I'll happily stay there again!

The hotel is in a good location, very close to a lot of restaurants, pubs, and next door to a 24h store.
The rooms are very very small though. To me, it was enough as I only stayed two nights and was there only at night to sleep, however I would not recommend it if your travelling with someone or are expecting to spend more time in the room.

Absolutely as advertised. Perfect if you’re not spending a lot of time in your room. Nice shower, comfortable beds and neatly cleaned. Only problem we had was that our particular room was the most dusty place I have ever layed my eyes upon. After dusting off anything, 30 minutes later it would again be completely covered in dust.

The cheapest hotel in a central part of Berlin. Small rooms, comfy pillows, very little storage. Ensuite shower and toilet, although with frosted glass walls, so not very private. Not stylish, but clean.
Helpful staff. There are lockers here that can be used after you check out, which is very handy.
Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance, and public transport is readily available.

Rooms are very tight, but clean and smart in usage. The bathroom is mostly tinted glass, which is okay if you’re with someone who will see your silhouette while showering. The hotel area is very nice, safe, and interesting. Many good restaurants for breakfast/dinner nearby. It has lockers for storing your belongings, but bring a lock with you to save €5

The hotel is in an amazing location, literally 2 mins walk from Rosenthaler Straße underground station. There are plenty of eateries nearby as well as a few bars also. The hotel staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was clean, with A/C/heating, TV, shower room, free toiletries. The room size for me was great as a solo traveller, rooms may be a bit cramped if more than 2 people I guess, but for me it was perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

Really fantastic location with very friendly and helpful staff. Had to ask for several hot water bottles to be filled all hours of the night and they were all happy to oblige.
Tiny room but we were expecting that and it was perfect as a place to crash in the middle of the city.
The room was clean and the shower pressure was fine, the only issue was that the shower stall leaked onto the bathroom floor a little bit, but this wasn’t a dealbreaker.
For the cheap price and the location, friendliness of staff, and cleanliness, it made for a great short stay in the middle of the city. Would definitely book again!

I have a reservation for early September, I have contacted the hotel to tell them that I have been cancelled flights and that please give me a travel voucher next year and your answer is NO. How open borders are, they say they can't do anything. They let me change dates until December 31, 2020 paying 39 euros but it seems that they do not realize the situation that we are.
I've told you that I don't mind paying the $39 whenever I get a bonus to spend during 2021 and your answer is that you're very sorry but can't do anything.
It's not fair for them to keep my money when it's not my fault that the flights have been cancelled.
I do not recommend this hotel or any of this chain at all.

I don't put a 0 because I can't. We haven't been to the accommodation. We have been cancelled flights by the Covid and we are unable to travel and the accommodation has no flexibility at all. A NO from the beginning was his answer. We've sent you the canceled flight and they keep saying NO. On top of that the only option they give you is to pay 35 euros to be able to change the dates in a situation that is of total uncertainty. They take advantage of the situation and do not give facilities unless you drop more money. I do not recommend at all this accommodation that takes advantage of a more than complicated situation…

Booked at easyHotel Berlin Hackescher Markt for the Lollapalooza festival in September, which was just cancelled due to COVID-19. Was told by the hotel my reservation is non-refundable, the festival cancellation has nothing to do with COVID-19 and they are refunding people only while the borders remain closed. Called Booking. Com to which they stated there is nothing they can do as they are not even allowed to contact the hotel directly because the hotel specifically stated they don’t want booking. Com to contact them. Could be a bit more empathetic during this pandemic. Even the airlines gave me a voucher! Not a good look for this hotel. I hope my bad reviews cost you much more money than you are stealing from me, and more than likely many others, that need to cancel for the same reason.

If your on your own with no luggage, and only want to stay one night. Then it’s ok, no drawers, no chair to sit on, a shelf about 4” wide to store stuff, no room cleaning g unless you pay €10, the room is about 12” wider than a double bed, you literally have about 6” to walk down the side of the bed before you get in and out.

For a short trip quite ok.
