We have recently stayed at Crescent Lodge in Livingstone, Zambia, and it offered a comfortable and convenient stay for exploring the area. While it’s a modest option compared to some other accommodations in the region, it provides everything needed for a pleasant visit to this incredible part of the world.
Location:
Crescent Lodge’s location is one of its main advantages. It’s just a short drive from the iconic Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, and is also close to the center of Livingstone town. This made it easy to explore the falls, visit the local markets, and access the nearby restaurants. The lodge is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, offering a peaceful environment after a day of adventure.
Accommodation:
The rooms at Crescent Lodge are clean and practical. While not luxurious, they are well-maintained and come equipped with the essentials, including air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and comfortable bedding. The décor is simple, but the rooms feel spacious and homely. The bathrooms were also well-kept, with hot water available at all times. It also has push shower which is a relive for the Muslim travelers like us. For the price, it’s a great value option for budget-conscious travelers.
Service:
The staff at Crescent Lodge were warm, welcoming, and eager to help. From the moment we arrived, they were available to assist with anything we needed. Due to some unavoidable reason we had to check out at 4 am in the morning.
Room service needs a lot of improvement, gyser was put off could not get hot water early morning.

Do not stay here, please. They tell you that due to power outages the air conditioning and the fridge do not work, which is not true. Other hotels turn on a generator and they do not, only for a couple of hours to save fuel. Sleeping in the room is impossible and you can not open the windows because mosquitoes come in as there are no mosquito nets. Do not be fooled. We have made a complaint to booking, attaching videos in which you can see that while the hotel opposite here has electricity, this one does not. They sell you a service that they do not provide. Please, may this be of service to other customers. Don't be fooled by telling us that everything is already fixed as they told us the second night. Greetings.
