Nice Location and friendly staff.

We had an excellent stay at Papaya hotel! We only had 36 hours in HCMC, so the location was perfect-very central. The room was very modern, clean, and we had a view of the pretty city hall. Our room was upgraded, which was so nice, it was the only time on our 3 week trip that it happened!

Keeping in mind the lowish cost, its not too badly appointed. The finishing touches are a bit disappointing. Once you settle into Saigon, you'll then understand its the culture of this here not to be top notch, unless you go ritzy. Every night without fail, I could here a rat running around in ceiling. Food, while it will do, the eggs were consistently warm to hot, while the bacon and sausages without fail, cold. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. In closing, I wouldnt stay here again. Luck luck.

Very good hotel for reasonable a price. The rooms are quite big, modern and clean. The coffee on the ground level is nice and offers drinks and food. If you are up for shopping the markets (Ben Than and Saigon Square) — this hotel is right in the middle between them.

The hotel is in a fantastic location — perfect for Ben Thành Market and Don Khoi areas, although the street outside is a little busy so ask for room on a higher floor. The reception and restaurant are both pretty small but our room was reasonable, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was fine — an offering of several set meals. My criticism of the hotel, however, is based on the staff: from the receptionist, to the bellboy and waiting staff — everyone (with the exception of the room maid) was cold, disinterested and unwelcoming. For that reason, I think we would look to stay elsewhere if we were to return.

A very nice and modern hotel in the District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City. Our room was clean and attractively decorated, the location of the hotel super suitable for City Explorations! Great criticism for us however was the staff and especially the breakfast: at a la carte breakfast only one of four set menus (e. G. Continental) can be chosen — changes or additional orders such as A fried egg costs extra and for Vietnamese conditions also very much. In addition, per guest only one drink is included in the breakfast, i. E. Either a coffee or a juice — both together only possible at an additional cost. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Where we encountered cordiality and courtesy at many other places in Vietnam, it was unfortunately a rarity at all to get a hello, even if you greeted the staff several times — not to mention a smile! Very sad and our experience also very untypical for Vietnam.

Cozy, new hotel. Small but comfortable room. The hotel is located in a modern building, the windows of our room were overlooking one of the main shopping malls of Ho Chi Minh City (the building is worthy of particular attention). The room was very nice and the breakfast was very nice. Breakfast was good. The hotel is within walking distance of all the important attractions of Ho Chi Minh City. The only minus-a strange noise at night in the ventilation system, someone crawling something, but it lasted no more than 15 minutes.

Really nice and clean room. The hotel was built in 2017, and everything is very fresh and modern (yet cosy). We stayed here for 4 nights and were upgraded to the largest room type (on the 4th floor), which was big, spacious and nice. The staff is friendly and overall we had a really nice time here. The hotel is located close to the market, within walking distance to almost everything. Will definitely chose Papaya Saigon if I go back to Saigon.

Really nice room. They upgraded us for our honeymoon and decorated with rose petals. Breakfast tasty. Only room temperature water from the shower — not too bad as it is warm in Saigon currently and only stayed 1 night but would be annoying if staying longer.

Strongly Recommend! Having 2 perfect night at this hotel which located just a few minutes walk to Bin Tahn Market with a lot of street food and fruits stall in the night time. Room is new and modern. Breakfast provided and staffs who work here is nice!

Really reasonably priced, good location and absolutely lovely staff who couldn't do enough for us. The rooms are spotless and modern. Would stay here again.

Nice place with a reasonable rate for stay. A plus for this place is the hotel located in the central of District 1 — heart of Saigon!
