We spent 6 days in this beautiful resort and we had the most wonderful time. From friendly and helpful staff, great location which was close to everything to an amazing pool we spent hours in… we’re glad we booked Iririki for our first trip to Vanuatu and we definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to come back.

First time staying at Iririki and we love it. They have gone above and beyond in service during our stay. We’ve got an island fare room and it’s beautiful and comfortable. We’ve been treated like royalty and nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful staff here… we wanted to enquire about other rooms for a future visit with other family members,,,, Tim went and got keys and gave us a personal tour of the different rooms available and it was no problem or drama at all. We had a wine cooler in our room and we asked how to make it cooler for milk etc, within 39 minutes we had a mini fridge delivered to our room! House keeping are wonderful and staff are amazing here — especially the Azure restaurant and infinity bar…

A great island with pools and snorkelling and plenty of bars and places to eat — rooms over the water and amazing listening to the water lap below.

Many visits to Iririki over the years. Great staff access to great snorkelling spots all around the island and a 3 min ferry over to Port Vila.

Wonderful and great place and wonderful peoples and so friendly and so cleaned and safe.

Had an emergency and need to change dates of travel. The resort wont change dates even at a time thats suited for them wont give a reason. We paid 1200 each and a 900 upgrade … dont worry we wont be thinking of recommending vanuatu let alone ypur resort will not be on my travel list anymore.

The perfect family holiday. We had the best time and will definitely go back. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Snorklers cove and the pools are great. Kids club is awesome and the cocktails are amazing.

5 stars Just got back from our honeymoon and our first trip to the resort. It is not our last! We fully enjoyed every moment. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Pools areas are amazing for lounging around at. Prices for food and drinks are comparable to all resort living. This place is a must!

We only stayed a few hours but walked all around the island. Swam in the Sunset pool, had a cocktail at the swim up bar and checked in for a look at the casino. Accommodation looks luxurious Thank you for your hospitality, we had a lovely afternoon out.

Facilities are good. Great location! Love the hotel ferry. Few tweaks needing to food and housekeeping or expectatipns — but loved the stay.

What an Amazing and Memorable Holiday! A truly relaxing and restorative 2 weeks spent at the Iririki Resort and Spa, Vanuatu with friendly and caring staff who met our every need. A particular huge thank you to Freddie and Timmy who ensured our chosen tours both with the resort as well as with other tour operators, went off without a hitch. Anything at anytime these guys were only too happy to assist resulting in a wonderfully stress free experience. The Splash tour was outstanding, a must do for all. While days on the island were lazily spent snorkeling and kayaking (so much to explore) in the beautiful aqua lagoon surrounding the island, and then kicking back around one of the sunset pools while waiting to take in the beautiful sunsets that occurred every evening. Adrian the operations manager, always overseeing everything ensured all ran smoothly even giving us a lift to breakfast one morning! Steve, the manager had a very calming and welcoming manner and all the staff including the students were always so pleasant and polite. Staying in a self contained apartment was invaluable as we were able to cook ourselves therefore, saving money as meals throughout Vanuatu can be quite expensive if eating out every night, and instead spending on fun filled experiences. A convenient 5min boat trip to the main island dropped us off in the centre of town handy to markets and shops. The island and accomodation is kept clean and tidy with beautiful gardens throughout.

Very quite and peaceful. The resort is based on a small sland across the way from downtown Port Villa where the local hustle and bustle is. Amazing dining hall and pool area that looks across the water to other islands. Absolute paradise!

Beautiful location, lovely restaurant setting with a quiet pool/bar/restaurant zone for adults to escape noisy little people hehe. Menu was of the standard western variety which was a bit of a let down but the cocktails made up for it Perfect snorkeling spots and beach bar.

This is where I went for my honeymoon The place is crazy beautiful Lots of fun Definitely get a waterfront villa if you can It's so worth it And a quick word to the wise Don't drink the water like I did or your going to have a bad time.

What a fabulous resort. Accommodation great, restaurants great, setting great. Its a fare judgement when you meet people from Byron Bay that come here for a break. Would recommend this Resort to anyone.

Beautiful resort. Very close to Port Villa but just far enough to seclude yourself away from the world. Fantastic and spacious rooms. Plenty to do around the island and the staff were absolutely wonderful, catering to our every need. Will definatley be back.

Nice day off a cruise ship, close to the main part of town, easy and free boat trip over, good pools including swim up bar. Food decent too.

Great location and over water rooms are fantastic, only let down by the staff unfortunately… They're friendly enough, but they have absolutely no idea about hospitality. They're unprofessional, unhelpful and have no clue about etiquette. Food in the Azure Restaurant and Infinity Bar & Cafe is very average and you don't always get what you order, it's a bit Mickey Mouse… Overall it was Ok, but it has the potential to be great with the right staff and management. Also the security deposit of over $700+ AUD is absolutely preposterous and unheard of anywhere in the hotel industry!

We stayed at Iririki for 7 nights at one of their ocean view apartment room. This was our second visit to Iririki. Last time we visited in 2011. The staff are friendly, humble and very helpful. They always have a smile on their face. Their GM "Steve" greeted us and was very polite. This is a very nice island to stay in and relax. However, the food and drinks were overpriced (almost 4 times the price you pay on mainland). With such a high price the food was very average. The… room and the facilities have aged since we visited in 2011 and I feel they need some TLC. For instance the decks around the sunset pool were aged and screws in some areas were popping up.
My brother had an accident on our third day and there was no first aid kit he could use at the reception. He was looked after at the sunset area though but the first aid kit they had was a shocker. He asked for some betadine wipes at the reception later that afternoon for his wounds but they had none so he was told to go to the drug store at mainland and buy some. The island was very empty and quite. I think with some ongoing renovations and maintenance, review of food quality and pricing, this can be much better place. I hope my comments can be seen as constructive criticism which management can take on board.

Resort is on a small and beautiful island in harbor — perfect location — easy and quick boat ride (that runs more or less non-stop 24/7) from central Port Vila. So you have access to all you want and need to do while feeling sufficiently removed and on a "resort". I've been to Rarotonga and Fiji several times and was very impressed with this resort and Vanuatu overall (Efate). Vanuatu is definitely a developing country, but the less frequented and developed feel (off resort — comfortable Iririki) adds to the cultural experience doubled with the desired "fun in the sun" experience, too. Definitely recommend this resort and considering Vanuatu as a vacation spot. Just keep in mind that this will not be an overcrowded and over developed 5* Honolulu (HI) like vibe. ;)

Am staying here now on a family holiday with my wife and two young kids. We love the resort and are staying in a deluxe pool view room with self cooking facilities if needed. The resort is currently at full occupancy you never like it’s overcrowded. There are enough different areas for people to enjoy themselves (kids pools, adults pool, beaches, gym etc) and the island is so close to the central market and mainland vía a free ferry that runs constantly 24/7. There’s also free Wi-Fi, great friendly staff and golf buggies running around the island to take people where they want. Highly recommended if you’re considering a visit to Port Vila.

Unsufficient number of staff or not trained well as room service and food preparing takes so long time. Wifi gets disconnected very easily… also TV connection is very weak. I loved the snorkeling cove of the hotel there plenty of fishes and an arch with corals in deep sea. Nature is great, its service have improvement points.

Room is fine but the photos certainly make the place look better than what it really is. You need to go to the outer islands for the best beaches in fact you cannot say that Iririki has any decent beach. Vanuatu is extremely expensive as their dollar is well over valued and they need to chop it in half to compete with the likes of Fiji or Rarotonga as they are far more realistic in their pricing structure aligning with Australia and New Zealand dollars rather than as Vanuatu does aligning with USA. We also feel Fiji and Rarotonga have better cultural flavour.

Great island getaway, lots of privacy. 24 hr Ferry service is very convenient.

Location, location, location — amazing how once you arrive at Iririki Island Resort just how you go into a state of total relaxation. Thanks to all the staff for their friendliness and happy feel as you enjoy your meals and move around the Island. So many activities to do through the day and then great entertainment every night. So close to all other activities located in Port Vila, a great place to enjoy a holiday in Vanuatu.

We spent a week here for our honeymoon. The staff were friendly and the bungalow was comfortable. The food and service were excellent. Loved the seafood platter and the daily buffet breakfast. Happy hour was great to try out all the cocktails. The snorkeling was good as well. The only negative was no hot water and no water pressure from third day onwards. Would recommend the snorkeling day trip as well. We will be back. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special! Andrew and Angela.

Great place for a Holiday. The most friendly people you could ever want to meet are the people of Vanuatu. The resort is on an Island and has constant shuttle boats for free across to the Mainland. If you are looking for upmarket Holidaying this is not for you but if you want a clean and picturesque place with relaxation thrown in this is the place to go. It's down to Earth attitude and the locals will just about do anything for you. I will definitely return again. Well done Iririki Island for looking after your patrons well.

Iririki resort would have to be the friendlist place I have visited… the staff were fabulous and even the other guests were extremely friendly. I think the the little ferry trip gives u the chance to chat to others. Would definitely stay there again!

Easily one of the best resorts in Vanuatu. Set on a island called Iririki in Port Vila Bay. Port Vila is a very beautiful place and you can make the most of your holiday and stay in a water front bungalow very nice luxury plus. Strongly recommend.

From the stunning French lady that welcomes you into the Resort … It just oozes beauty and class… Please try the 1500vatu day experience and you won't regret the experience. Sean Paul will look after you and the staff are very welcoming. Well worth the stay or even a small visit.

We spent three nights here last year after it had just reopened. It is a beautiful place. Their waterfront bungalows were a perfect place for us to honeymoon. They even had a complimentary bottle of champagne when we arrived. We loved the friendly staff and delicious food up at the restaurant. The spa has an amazing view, however, I think one one of the masseuses was probably still in training at the time and my wife did not enjoy the massage. All in all though, it was a wonderful experience. Peaceful, friendly and very relaxing. It is absolutely worth it.

Awesome resort with a lot to do. You can stay on the main island and buy a pass to take a ferry over to Iririki for the day and use the pools, bars and restaurants.

Was lucky enough to stay there for a week with my partner. What an amazing place it is. The accommodation and service at Iririki is first class, the scenery and the surrounds are simply breathtaking! For the price, and the convenience of only a short flight across, I'd pick this over anywhere in Thailand and Bali every time.

We stayed at Irirki for 2.5 days in a water fare, don't spend extra on a water fare. We has a fantastic weekend away, the people were very friendly! However. The water fare that we stayed in, the TV didn't work the TV reception was terrible and regardless of being told some one would be around to fix it, no one came around other then to do an inspection, not to actually FIX the TV. The air conditioning unit was also leaking the entire stay. We tried to book into the spa to get couple massage but to no avail, our first booking was cancelled because the massues was leaving early then we couldn't work any other times around our schedule. Breakfast hours are from 7:00 am-10:00 am however our tour started at 7:00 am so we either had to be late for the tour or miss out on breakfast. We opted to be late for the tour. Port Vila is absolutely beautiful and the view from Bali Hai is amazing — don't go to Port Vila with any expectations and you won't be disappointed. Cocktail and Happy Hours up at Bali Hai are a good time, Karaoke and fire dancers are excellent entertainment for the evening.
