Good Restaurant. Number 1 on the Tripadwezer rating. Crowded. The Waiter forgot to give the order for one of the dishes. So there was a delay. Overall not bad.

I decided to eat at Platan based on the positive reviews on the internet. But overall I was disappointed. Pros: the place is clean and the design is nice. Cons: — the food is three times more expensive than in the local restaurants; — I bought a lamb kebab, which normally is cooked on the grill in the other restaurants, but at Platan is was soaked in oil and it seemed reheated in the microwave oven. — the rest of the dishes I ordered were reheated in the microwave oven; Personally I would not recommend it.

Oh, well, better than this restaurant I in addition seen. The best staff, the best decorations, live music, and the library of Russian classics is something, in General, if you are in Samarkand, you definitely need to go here.

An average by all means, good food, moderate prices, clean, but nothing to write home about.

Literally the cleanest toilets in the whole city. Service was good too. If you're a tourist in Samarkand I recommend this place.

Good restaurant with decent menu: delicious main dishes & desserts. Beverages and alcohol are not overpriced. Went there on Wednesday evening, even then it was quite busy & there was live music.

Decent food. Music as well. No non-smoking areas.

Very delisious and rich meals. They accept visa and master card without any problems. Strongly advice this place.

Overpriced (by local standards). 1 extra star for having literally the cleanest toilets in the whole city. Service was good too. If you're a tourist in Samarkand I recommend this place.

Great choice of food and interesting atmosphere with old gentleman singing Karaoke. Price is also very reasonable. It's in Russian town which is worth a visit as well.

Fun restaurant with nice salads and other food. Music and dancing in evening. Make a reservation if it is Fri or Sat.

Food was fantastic, some of the best we have eaten in Uzbekistan. Service was also great. The restaurant were also able to arrange a taxi immediately upon leaving.

A bit pricey place. Tasty samsa, great fresh salads, local beer much better than we expected, shashlyk portions smaller than usual. And, um, great toilets — we've already spent a week traveling around the country so we missed liquid soap and hand tissues :)

Its probably the best place to eat in Samarkand. Very good and tasty food. However, some of their staff is not polite. Highly recommended.

Went to a restaurant on the recommendation of friends over the barbecue. After 16 minutes after the landing, brought the menu. After 55 minutes after landing, brought the first dish of the ordered — salad "fresh". After 1 hour 10 minutes after landing, brought the soup. After 1 hour and 20 minutes after landing brought dishes (2 chicken kebab, 1 pork and 1 lamb, 2 skewers of vegetables). All the kebab meat was served on one large platter (the lamb kebab was barely warm). Kebabs of vegetables were also served cold on the same plate. The output of the bones of kebabs of chicken and lamb made up of about 60% of the dishes. Dinner was finished after 1 hour and 40 minutes after landing. The Manager explained to us that it was necessary to say that we want the kebabs was served separately. Without any compensation offered was not (to the bill included the fee is 10%).
