Spectacular. I wanted to try everything and ordered way too much! You can tell the food is fresh and carefully chosen. The waiters were very polite and friendly.

Best restaurant in Samarkand! The crispy eggplant salad is not to be missed! The best eggplant preparation I ever had. The beef stew with vegetables was also delicious. Make a reservation.

Very polite staff, I would like to mention the guys at the reception separately. Cleanliness in the rooms and in the common areas, a good restaurant nearby at reasonable prices.

For some reason there is no daily cleaning. You have to ask for it to be cleaned. We came to the conclusion that a hotel without a restaurant is not convenient for us.

I arrived early in the lovely city of Samarkand from Tashkent by Afrosiyab and took a short taxi drive to the hotel.

I had a very pleasant stay in Samarkand.
The front desk staff were very kind and welcoming, and all the hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

We were a group of 60 people from the Uk and I must say this Hotel was very beautiful and modern. Great service and good help whenever you needed it for a taxi or food.

We really enjoyed our short stay in this hotel. Staff was great (really enjoyed Umar at the front desk… but others were also great). Our room was nice and breakfast was really good.

We loved our stay at Grand Samarkand Superior. Wifi was great, good gym, delicious breakfast, great shower pressure, spacious and clean room.

Good sized room for a basic hotel. TW was YouTube only, but we could get some news in English. The bathroom worked fine as did the nice windows on our corner room.

Izumrud Palace is the kind of small, family run enterprise that deserves our support. Room was clean and spotless, newly refurbished and everything was in great working order.

We spent two nights at Volidam Hotel and had an absolutely great experience. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, especially at the reception.

Wellness Park Bactria is the best hotel we stayed in, the reception girl Mushtariy was so helpful and attentive.

Overall it was good, however, there are certain things that can be improved.

Hotel is situated at nice location with Eternal City walkable distance and airport 20min drive. The surrounding is calm and lush greenery.

The hotel is exceptional! The location is perfect, very close to the main city sights. The breakfast was amazing—delicious and diverse. There's a complimentary spa that is also excellent.

I think we may have been in the older wing. Rooms were nice, large. The evening that we arrived there was no hot water in the shower, but that only happened once.

This hotel is a little jewel close to all the attractions in Samarkand. Staff is super nice, rooms are well cleaned, and breakfast is good. The area is very quiet.

Was visiting uzbekistan for the first time and off course I had to travel to samarkhand, had no prior knowledge about the city and going by the reviews booked a room on Al madina hotel.

During our trip we had select East star hotel as our basis for exploring Samarkand.

The room layout and facilities are adequate but not maintained. Our bath leaked everytime we showered. Language barrier was apparent but not the hotels problem as we are the foreigners.

Good place. You have everything you need. The breakfast is not only Swiss, it's simple.

Perfect location by the railway station, especially when arriving very late. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The AC worked great too. Excellent Wi-Fi. I would stay there again.

Overall a great place to stay. Comfortable, quiet, nice swimming area (real heated pool). Rooms rather small.
But breakfast needs a real improvement, especially for the rates paid.

Highly recommended hotel once you visit Samarkand, Uzbekistan. They are 7th month old in the business. It's a family own and the owner, staffs are very accommodating.

Nice restaurant serving breakfast. TV playing calming music was quite calming and relaxing. Receptionist was nice. Rooms tidy and wonderful! Easy to navigate to.

Our stay at Astoria Plage in Samarkand was wonderful! The hotel is very pleasant, clean, and well-organized. The staff went out of their way to help us with anything we needed.

Wouldn’t ask for a better stay!
