Cheap Hotels in Montevideo

It is simply a great experience. Lovely, welcoming personal in a charming old building. The rooms are nice, even a little back in time but very clean and a comfortable bed.

Not a bad hotel, although it could definitely use some renovation. For a short stay of two nights, it’s fine. There is even a small complimentary breakfast available for guests.

Cute little hostel with a cosy common area and lovely staff. Our room was ready in advance and they allowed us to check in earlier. Very cool experience 😊

Tremendous grime curtains. The receptionists are daring old men. They charge you things that were not stipulated in the rates.
Pay a little more and go to another you are going to save the bad time.

Every good location, just around the corner is the main shopping street, near the old town and main tourist attractions and market, bars and restaurants, an do the staff here very nice!

Really good for a weekend, the interior was cozy, amazing roof top, was clean and selene welcomed us very friendly.

The location just around the corner of Parque Rodó is good considering the Montevideo old town is a rather gloomy place especially after dark.

The staff are really very especially Michelle who gave us ton of information about the city and was able to give helpful tips. There is always coffee and tea (just clean your own dishes).

The facilities in this hostel are good but the staff are phenomenal. Super friendly and professional. Fredorico, Niloleta and Ita, thank you for making our stay in South America the best one yet.

Larger than usual rooms, playground. Great attention from its owner Alejandro and the receptionist Joaquína. A privileged location in the center near places of interest.

It is a big hostel, be ready to climb some stairs. There is no breakfast! Google says breakfast is included but it is not.
Beds were clean and cozy. The bathroom could do some improving.

What makes this hostel great is its great location in the old city, the friendly people, comfortable shared spaces kitchen, terrass and living room.
