Montevideo Hotels near Palacio Taranco

Top of the top, the concept is incredible, great value for the price. And the service was incredible, special shoutout to Nelson who made us feel so welcome.

A clean and beautiful hotel with a cultural theme, located in a good area near the port. Breakfast offers a limited selection, but the quality is quite good.

A GLOBAL TRAVELER’S FIND OF A VERY PLEASANT BOUTIQUE HOTEL in Montevideo’s Ciudad Vieja👍👍👍👍.
GOOD VALUE, quiet.
Very amiable staff: reception, breakfast room and housekeeping 👏👏👏👏👏.

The location is wonderful and the room was a really good size and clean. Breakfast was good too.

Hotel worn down, working infrastructure with comfortable mattresses, Wi-Fi, TV and hot water. Very well located. Good value for money.

It is simply a great experience. Lovely, welcoming personal in a charming old building. The rooms are nice, even a little back in time but very clean and a comfortable bed.

An absolute gem of a boutique hotel in the old town! The hotel and rooms are absolutely beautifully designed and decorated. The hospitality of Jerónimo was even better.

My wife and I stayed here August 25th-28th, 2025. This is a fantastic hotel and we'll stay here during our next visit. Nancy and Alberto were great.

It was clean, had very good heating and Good Wi-Fi. They should add safe box in the rooms. The breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And they offer free parking.

Wonderful hotel in Centro area, breakfast included, free parking. Paid USD 64 for standard queen bed, June 2024

I am in Montevideo often for work. This trip I brought my family, and decided I wanted something different than my usual hotels. Puertovideo Aparts did NOT disappoint.

Perfect accomodation to explore Montevideo!
Pro:
+ Comfortable and clean rooms with a lot of space.
+ Pretty cheap for what you get!
+ Everything in the ciudad viejo is within walking distance.

Lovely hotel, great rates. Incredible room, and almost on the beach. I love it!

We stayed a couple of nights in this modern hotel with sleek designs, a short way back from the sea front.

Great place to stay in Montevideo. Clean, comfortable rooms with good AC, good area of the old town close to anything you need.
Social area is spacious and breakfast is quick and delicious.

The staff are really very especially Michelle who gave us ton of information about the city and was able to give helpful tips. There is always coffee and tea (just clean your own dishes).

Very good attention and hygiene.

Nice place to stay and explore. Within walking distance of the top attractions of what's to be seen while in Montevideo. Kind helpful staff and a comfortable room with a king size bed.

The hotel is located in the Ciudad Vieja and is close to plazas and the Museo del Gaucho y Monedas. The staff were extremely helpful.

Staff were really really nice and genuinely helpful and really went out of their way to help me.
Especially Leo at reception and Fernando in the restaurant.

A member of the NH family of hotels. Staff is excellent and attentive. The location good and hotel comfortable. The building itself is showing signs of age and in need of some attention.

Good room and service.
It is a big hotel and many things happening all the time. Many people coming and going.
Lobby was always crowed and noisy.

The room okay not too big but it's okay the location perfect during the day close to everything but the area during the night not very safe I can't say it's dangerous noo but not safe the shower very

Every good location, just around the corner is the main shopping street, near the old town and main tourist attractions and market, bars and restaurants, an do the staff here very nice!

In my months staying at the hotel I received excellent treatment from both the concierge and cleaning staff. No complaints⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The location is a 10/10. As well are the views you have from the rooftop and balconys. The building itself is old but charming, looks great from the inside and the outside.

Couldn't recommend a better place! The team is amazing. Special shoutout to Victoria for the amazing drinks, recommending places to visit, and setting up the weekly social events.

Wonderful small hotel in the heart of the Old City with extremely helpful and friendly front desk staff.

The hospitality of this hotel is unmatched by anything I am used to in latin America.

Good taste in its facilities.

Super complete, both in service and in facilities!

Cute space, very much that Montevideo-style design with the skylights, high ceilings, adjoined sections of the building with plenty of stairwells and aesthetics in the walls and ceiling and floor.

All excellent and very quiet hostel.
