Hotels in Exeter with Breakfast

We have just returned as first time guests from a 2 night stay at The Ley Arms. We’ve tried to think how our stay could have been improved and have come back blank.

A lovely pub and restaurant. I found the staff to be, without exception, welcoming, courteous and helpful. The food is well-presented, of excellent quality and was promptly served.

Lovely staff. Comfy room. Very helpful. Fantastic breakfast very accommodating. Very helpful for dietary requirements. Amazing shower in room. Will be back.

Lovely village pub with rooms. Room was nothing fancy, but clean and tidy, and perfect for a night while working away. Food (both dinner and breakfast) of good quality.

The exter court hotel, what can I say, our Christmas Day dinner was one of the best. From the time we walked in. We were met by a very friendly merry Christmas.

What a superb Christmas Day Lunch. Ten in our party and every one of us had an absolutely great lunch.

I am staying here for business for 3 nights. A colleague booked for me and when I read a couple of reviews I was apprehensive but needn’t have been!

For the price you simply cannot do better, yes the beds aren’t the most comfortable and yes the water pressure in the shower isn’t great and yes smokers congregate under the no smoking signs at the

We stayed only one night as we were on our way to Plymouth. Nice and friendly staff. Could choose between a „traditional“ room above the pub and a „modern“ one.

A rather quaint and lovely premises on the main street.

We booked the Devon Hotel for a wake. It is a convenient 10 minute drive from Exeter & Devon Crematorium (we seemed to be against traffic which was very busy going towards Exeter).

I had my experience of Devon Hotel today in the heatwave as a corporate visitor. We were 'hot and bothered' after a 2hr journey.

Nice clean room. Food was good & the staff were very friendly 👍

Stayed one night. Locals were great and welcoming. Quiz night in the bar well attended. Warm welcome on arrival from a first class landlady. Rooms dated but more than adequate.

Excellent location in Exeter. Hotel is slightly quirky as was originally an old eye hospital. So makes it much more interesting than a modern purpose built square box!

Another amazing stay. Love my visits here. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. Beautifully furnished rooms, comfortable beds and good facilities. Lovely welcome at reception by Toby and Paul.

We had a five day stay at Premier Inn St Davids Station. It was clean, comfortable and convenient. The staff were both pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was enjoyable and the price was reasonable.

Well this is the best one yet, I paid a little extra for the Premier plus room, coffee machine, fridge and a super shower, well worth it as we were staying a few nights.

We stayed here 2 nights. Spacious apartment comfortable warm well serviced. We breakfasted in their cafe and the food was very good. We will be back.

We had a fantastic experience! The BBQ menu was incredible – every dish was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. A huge compliment to Adam, the chef, who did an amazing job.

Ideally located just of the M5 motorway making it very easy to get to and avoid city traffic. Car parking included in your room rate with plenty spaces. Staff are very attentive and friendly.

A very comfortable hotel, that caters well for people with mobility needs. Fresh and modern. Room minimalist, but has everything you need and very comfortable.

Superb stay, Fantastic, welcoming reception team. Jazmin (the Head Receptionist) is just amazing, so, so helpful as is Nova too. Jazmin works INCREDIBLY hard too — it was noticed.

Amazing stay and perfect location!
We do not get a chance to go away much due to work so we very much were looking forward to our stay at Hotel Indigo in Exeter.

Good value for money. Breakfast and parking included. Good location as close to Exeter quays with its pubs and restaurants.

We booked here for 3 nights for its close proximity to Exeter. It was around a 15 min walk. The hotel itself was very pleasant and we had a twin room at the top.

Good hotel that is centrally located. The room was nice although we were switched as the family room had an issue with the bed. They upgraded us which was nice touch.

I celebrated my parent’s birthday and requested a special wording written on the glass. Beyond my expectations, the writing was beautifully done.

Situated opposite Exeter Central this is ideal if you want to travel by train. Car parking is £12.50 a night but is limited. We arrived at 12.30pm and there were a few spaces.

The Rougemont hotel was delightful! We were checked in by Veronica, who was most helpful and embodied what customer service should be — kudos!

Lovely stop break on our way down to the coast! Great coffee, service and local sausage with proper orange eggs! Scrummy!

Used the countess wear as a stop off night on our way to Cornwall, all the staff were lovely, and helpful.

Stayed overnight to break up to trip to Cornwall. Picked it because it was the cheapest in the area. Was pleasantly surprised.
