Highly recommend.
We don't bother looking for alternatives. We know the qualities of Weeke Barton and why would we look anywhere else. It's just a wonderful place to chill out with excursions to the moor. What's not to love? The pubs around there give one so many eating out options. Can't recommend Weeke Barton highly enough. Jo and Sam are delightful hosts.

I stayed at Weeke Barton (Kota Room) for one night, the night before my wedding.
Firstly, the location. Wow. It truly felt like you were in the middle of nowhere, plenty of grass areas to sit and enjoy time outside if the weathers good (I enjoyed a cup of tea outside when checking in), and all well maintained.
Service: I was greeted by Jo when I arrived (and the very friendly Winston! ). She showed me around and explained everything to me. She was very accommodating, sorting breakfast early for me and accommodating a late check out (and my hairdresser and photographer arriving in the morning). They’re on hand for anything you need just a text message away. Thank you so much Jo!
The room itself was spacious, clean, beautifully decorated with lovely amenities and an incredibly comfortable bed! I made use of the honesty bar in the house (a G&T) which was also lovely and a great idea!
I would absolutely stay here again if visiting the area and would recommend to anyone thinking of staying!
