Fortune Hotel

The experience was good. I had enough space and a good sleep. I was happy with the tight security and the good customer care provided.

It was nice place and room continued basical every thing. What I didn't experience was the bar and restaurant.

Don't stay here, cheap but not cheerful. There's always something wrong at this hotel. Constant power cuts, the only building on the block, it must be the hotel's fault. The very dishonest manager lied about bringing power back at 6.30am. Imagine staying at a hotel with no power… Then said it would be back at 9. Power didn't come back. On top of this, there are faulty doors, to he rooms are not secure. There are many mosquitoes even on upper floors. There are gaping holes above the doors due to broken glass that hasn't been repaired. No mosquito nets in rooms. Rat droppings everywhere. Fan is useless if there is no power, ditto internet, plugs, lights, water heater etc. Bad water pressure. Restaurant is awful. Breakfast is kind of funny it's so bad. Location definitely not for the feint hearted, dangerous and very noisy. Much better value at other hotels. Even at just 50, 000ugx this is bad value. Avoid!
