Munyonyo Resort is located in same area of speke resort. It is a very nice resort located in Bank of Lake Victoria in Munyonyo area, Kampala. It is very well decorated in combination with trees, gardens, sculptures, grounds etc. It has hotel, restaurant, conference hall, bar, spa, marine drive, pony camp etc. They have very large car parking area. You can enjoy lake victoria beauty from this resort.

Lovely resort right on Lake Victoria, friendly staff and delicious flavours of food. I was fortunate to be staying at Suite 112 overlooking the lake. There's room for improvement in terms of Wi-Fi coverage. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

One of best hotels in Kampala; A little outside town, but along the lake making for a serene atmosphere. Besides lodging, its known to host major conferences and important guests and fun activities on the lake.

Nice place for conference having leisure at your own time. Shows of lake Victoria beautiful land scape and nice suits. Enjoy boat ride and horse riding.

Lovely place to stay. Their swimming pool is to die for you. The grounds are well maintained. They could do a bit better in room cleanliness. Breakfast is not their strong point very little choice.

It's spacious, with good accommodation and food variety. More than enough parking, secure, and has even a huge place for jogging and relaxation at the beach side. Separate place for relaxation as well. Quite costly but good.

That hotel has amazing views and structures but do not try to eat the lakeside restaurant. The service is below average. You have to pay cash, sometimes the dj plays loud music and you have to buy coupons to get drinks — the fish is good though. Can't go back there. Additionally, they charge 3000 pp at the gate on Sundays.

Fascinating lake view and a spacious enormous grass covered area to chill with friends children and family. It also has a huge area fit for jogging and some physical exercises. Very nice meals and adorable hotel suites. You can also take up different activities like horse riding and boat cruises.

Located along the world largest Natural fresh water lake, Munyonyo commonwealth Resort gives it's guests a breathtaking view. They boast fresh Tilapia out of the lake to the frying pan. The structures are well built with a state of art. The best place to be in Kampala. Always great being there.

Has the best of literally all world's, the service is onto the dot. Everything seems organised and the staff sure work like pros. They also offer a number of payment options, and there also exists a visa ATM inside the hotel premises. Fascinating to say the least.

Excellence at its best. Spacious, exotic place by the waterfront with ample parking and good amenities — accommodation, meeting and conference rooms, leisure gardens, swimming pool, restaurants and bar. Exclusive spaces and also common places for the general public. The marina is an additional feature.

Great outdoor space (I use it more than the actual hotel). Fancy Olympic size pool and fitness centre. Great for pet owners as they seem to allow you to bring in dogs during hours when the beach doesn't have people. I take the dogs early morning.

Amazing resort with a beautiful view of Lake Victoria. The rooms are well decorated and have an aircons. The Olympic size pool is absolute bliss to swim in. The buffet is relatively good but the service might be a bit laid back. If you are ordering from the menu I would recommend ordering Indian food — absolutely delicious.

Formally known as Speaks Resort Munyonyo, Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort Hotel a name adapted during the 2007 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) held in Uganda is by far the best hotel in the country. It is at the top end of the market and offers unrivalled world class services.

Rustic quiet and upmarket resort… Good food, awesome views off the lake. Marina and equestrian centre.

Great place for relaxing on a Sunday with friends and family at the picnic grounds just next to the lake or Olympic size swimming pool or steambath and sauna or gym… Just lovely.

Best hotel in Kampala, great ambience :-) The hotel was build for Commonwealth meeting that's the reason it's name is common wealth restaurant. The hotel is very nice. On the other side of hotel Victoria lake is there which gives very nice view. It's about 20 km far from Kampala city, hence try to not depended on Uber.

Great place for relaxation and meetings by the side of lake Victoria Huge green campus and great food. I can vouch for Indian vegetarian food only.

Its beautiful and customer care is great not forgetting the security because there is surveillance cameras everywhere.

Located on the shores of lake Vitoria with a great view of the lake. The meals are great with nice spacious rooms.

Place is quite big/spacious, but it didn't feel like home. It got a little lonely. There was no touch of royalty.

I have been there thrice. Once for staying and twice for day visits. It's a lovely place to visit and stay. Food is good with lots of variety and good preparation. Staff is friendly with very good hospitality. There are few activities you can enjoy with your family and kids.

Amazing place near Victoria lake. Swimming pools just besides the lake, nice restaurant with many meal options, a place to stroll around and relax. I just recommend it!

The rooms are clean, cosy, airy. Wi-Fi is available and works. Warm water is available. Provision of a kettle and tea/coffee in the room. AC is the room as well, though mine failed to warm up the room. Breakfast is a variety of lots to eat. There are boat cruises as well if you can afford them. It is great for a small getaway from town or for business in Kampala.

Amazing resort at the Lake shore, with a spectacular beach, lovely rooms and condos, great lawns, the spa services are on point and soothing. The food and services are almost addictive. It's a place you'd visit over and over again.

This is a max 3 star international resort, but with impressive facilities and lovely lake views. Staff are friendly and super helpful and tipping, although not expected, is encouraged as staff do not receive any of the built in gratuities. The Indian food menu is definitely recommended.

This place is great to relax and unwind. The food is also good. The restaurant has 2 menu choices. One is Asian other is western. The prices at the restaurant are comparabke to most quality restaurants. The cleaning staff were extremely polite and thorough. The main problem I have with this hotel is their Wi-Fi. It really sux. Shame in the management staff.

This hotel-resort is like paradise. The hotel is located next to Lake Victoria in Kampala, Uganda. There are beautiful scenery, cute bugs and monkeys all around. The food is delicious! Especially the Indian cuisine, not surprisingly. I would like to send special thanks to the chefs there for doing their jobs perfectly. The staff in general is friendly; when you smile at them they smile back even bigger. One cute fact: since the resort is so enormous like a village, there are golf carts that take you to your room and back. They are like cute little taxis in the hotel. The rooms have mosquito nets, so you feel safe inside at night. The swimming pools are must see. The one close to the entrance even has bar seats inside the water where you can sit order drinks from the bar there. Overall, an amazing stay.
