We stayed there for 2 nights. The hotel is very clean. The location is great. And the price was perfect. Also very helpful stuff.

Whenever my husband and I visit Uganda, HBT is our first stop before venturing into the country side. The staff are friendly, helpful and honest. My husband and I forgot important items in the room and there was no need for stress. The staff contacted us, they kept the items until we were ready to collect them. The rooms are big and clean, I like the decor. It feels like a home, very comfortable. The food is good. The tea? Now I know the difference between ugandan tea and english tea. The first time I tried Ugandan tea, it was too milky. Will definitely visit again.

Nice hotel at Convenience location and easy excecibility to other places… Courteous and smiling staff…

Basically a decent hotel BUT some clothes disappeared when the room was cleaned and management (reception) not concerned about reported theft.

It's an awesome, homey place to be. The staff are friendly and always ready to help. There's a variety of foodstuffs to choose from at the restaurant and if you're feeling lazy you can easily order in. The rooms are always spot on clean, free from city noise, with OK Wi-Fi and the hotel is situated perfectly within easy reach of so many of the town shops, cafés etc. I would definitely stay here the next time I'm in kampala.

Best location in Kampala City Center — easy access to all main roads. The quality of the bathrooms is fine, but could be better. The beds are among the best in Kampala with 4 soft pillows.

It is a nice place to sleep while you are in kampala although the staff needs to pull up their socks.

I wud really recommend everyone to go there for parties, lunch, chilling, its such a great place. I held my birthday party there but trust me, de decoration was breath taking, food was so delicious. The staff was so patient wid me en mai sturbon gals. We had fun to the fullest. Manager Deborah yo the best, yo so hospitable. Nt forgetting the prices were so fair. I seriously didnt spend much yet had fun to the fullest. Thou improve on yo sound system oths wise Russel cafe yo de best eva, yu gave me a memorable day wid mai friends. Promise we wil come back.

It's a Hotel in the heart of Kampala. Very nice, and convenient @ very economical rates.

A home in the middle of the city. Provides a quiet serene resting place with easy access to any kind of office. Free Wi-Fi, spacious rooms, gym, great restaurant with hot and fresh food. Great smiles from the team who are very helpful. Twenty four hour service both kitchen and bar.

This is so far the best place in Kla, free unrestricted Wi-Fi, supper friendly and professional staff … this is awesome.

Great, convenient location. Friendly staff, very nice breakfast with amazingly warm service. Good restaurant with terrace and very kind servuce Reception was kind to allow for early check in on arrival. We have had a bit of a mishap with our card reader locking room door so we had to move few rooms down the hall. It was quite inconvenient since we hadn't slept for 30 hrs but hotel manager David was kind to offer us a free dinner to offset this inconvenience which we'd accepted. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a great alternative in Kampala.

The hotel is nice and clean. Good price-quality ratio. The restaurant is good also. Good service. The place is nice and very clean. There is a very nice African clothing store. The price-quality ratio is average, the prices are excessive for the quality of the food.

Good hotel. Rooms are good. Options of vegetarians are not there. Lift issue is at peak. Climbing 4 levels all the time is absolutely tedious.

This could be one of our fav Kampala Hotels. The point that make it tick are location within CBD, easy access to all major roads, shopping and government offices. Internet connection recently improved but only available to guest rooms and some spots in the lounge. Elevator being added and when completed, this will be another added bonus. Last but not least, you get 3 star service at 2 star rates.

Very clean and friendly daily maid service and the cafe Russell has a good menu and breakfast is included, there is a selection of shops in the complex including a forex money exchange. There was no lift at the time I stayed but I was told it was under construction. There is also free Wi-Fi available. In a good central location a few steps from Kampala road. Overall I had an enjoyable stay at this very friendly and reasonably priced hotel, on my next visit I will stay here again. Highly recommended.
