The hotel has an incredible staff that makes you feel that you are with friends. David, Peterson and Michael are awsom ppl. It is a perfect hotel to relax and have a great time.

My favorite place to stay in Uganda. Nice, relaxed atmosphere, good location, beautiful rooms, really good breakfast… Small but nice pool to dip in. The staff is the best and will do their everything to make you feel at home. Been there four times within 10 months and will be back ASAP. Keep it up guys! … ❤️☀️

My family and I stayed here and the staff and owner were wonderful! It is a beautiful, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. I can’t recommend it enough. They also have a NGO discount as they truly value people who invest in Uganda. Definitely worth the trip.

Beautiful little guesthouse with professional staff, warm ambiance, clean rooms, and a lovely pool. Tea and coffee all day, and though they don't have a restaurant, there are plenty of restaurants nearby, or they will order delivery for you. The owner stopped by to ask us how we were doing and we had a pleasant conversation. We'll be coming back.

I stayed at Source of the Smile Hotel for one night last week. The place was lovely, the customer service excellent! Didn't try the swimming pool because it was quite cold, but it looked great. The staff called me while I was on my way asking when I was arriving, and offering to order food for me so that it was ready by the time I arrived — great! Definitively coming back next time I'm in Jinja :)

Had an amazing stay at the Smile. Lovely & helpful staff, clean rooms & the pool is a nice spot to chill out. Mattresses are also super comfy to get a good night sleep.

Nice hotel in de center of Jinja. Our room (5) was big en clean. You can hear the monkeys while you're in bed. The staff is very friendly. Only breakfast is included, they have no kitchen for warm meals.

A great little hotel, beautifully furnished and attentive service. Elliot greeted us with a kindness and friendliness that I haven't ever experienced from a hotel owner before. I highly recommend that if you come to Jinja you choose to stay at Source of the Smile.

Stayed there several nights. One room did not have AC. I happened to get that room. The cost of the room was not adjusted. Not pleased with that part. Other than that it was very clean. Great breakfast.

My wife and I loved staying here. Although just for one night we had a fun and relaxing time. The owner is super friendly and is very interesting to chat with. I was asking about the bottles in walls and he talked me through the whole process. Food was good and the pool, although small, is really nice. Our room was on the small side, but the recycled art and happy atmosphere and great service meant that didn't matter.

Amazing! I was blown away by the very unique art, warm/relaxing decor made locally and mostly from natural materials. Simple, yet so beautiful, and to top it all up… the best service. Every person I met (both the staff and the guests, yes the guests) was polite, smiling and warm. We even became friends with the owner and his family. At the end of our 4 night stay (ours was a family vacation — my spouse and I plus our 2 kids), I felt like I'd been at the home of a very wealthy Friend/Relative and not at a stranger's guest house.
