Money was stolen from my hotel room already the first day. The hotel did absolutely nothing to help me and I never got it back. I have travelled quite a bit in uganda and have never experienced anything like it! I tried to talk to the manager but I have only been waiting in the lobby and he never showed. The receptionists did not believe I ever had the money (even tho I had proof) meaning they think I am a liar. I was not taken serious at all. It made the rest of my stay very unpleasant because I was constantly worried about the belongings in my room. In the safe most valuable items like a laptop and camera do not fit. So either you have to bring them all the time or risk that the staff takes them.

I love this place, the pool side staff are the best, the pizza’s are great too BUT the worst experience Ive had are the gate men. They are always asking for money, Ive become a weekend client there cause i’m taking swimming lessons but whenever I get to the gate, the gatemen get annoying, they despise Ugandan clients and i’ve heard some friends’ complaining too. Last weekend they saw me with a foreigner who was their guest so they wanted to take 50$ from him at the gate, when I was leaving at night too they thought he had given me money, for God’s saké I thought a hotel is free for anyone to go in especially if this client has come to support ($$$$$$$) Please work on that. Thanks.

I have been to Lake Victoria Hotel for 3 nights, and I had a memorable experience: although the hotel amenities and facilities were not that fancy and the breakfast buffet was too modest and humble (to be honest), this was completely covered by a genuine hospitality from all the hotel staff, starting from front desk to housekeeping to restaurant waiters. I had also the chance to socialize with the property manager Mr. Mustafa who is a very hospitable, friendly and nice-to-talk-to gentleman. He was also asking several other guests about their stay. The hotel has a nice clean pool, and good pool tables for pool table players. You might see a lot of insects in the hotel, but it's everywhere in Uganda because of Lake Victoria, and it is generally harmless (these insects have a life-time of only 24 hours). The Equator is almost 30 minutes drive from the hotel, good to visit. The hotel is a two-floor property, and through my stay it was a peaceful place where you can have a quite good night sleep.

Beautiful hotel located near Lake Victoria. Nice views and lots of fresh fruits. Rooms are small. Last time I stayed and had an awful smell in the room, something like mold. Staff is quite friendly but too slow. They confuse rooms, they forget requests, and restaurant staff is also very slow. Could be better, saying honestly.

The best hotel in enttebe and Uganda. They understand customers very well… they have excellent services like gym, swimming pool. Powerful Wi-Fi and beautiful gardens with the breeze from lake victoria.

Nice size room, clean and very helpful and friendly service! The reception helped me locate a medicine in Kampala, which was not available in Entebbe! Then they arranged transport of it to the hotel!

Lot to be desired. In need of an update in rooms, Wi-Fi and check out procedures. A nice location though. Spa is good.

The hotel is satisfactory, but it is supposed to be one of the best hotels in Entebbe. Extras are poor, internet is terrible despite complaint, gym opened late every morning. Good is good. Staff is friendly. Fix the extras and rating would improve. Bit noisy on ground floor.

Nice setting and pool area, but bulding and some rooms need update/renovations. It's a matter of luck that everything works to perfection. One time there are issues with A/C, others with Wi-Fi, others with beds, others with smell or mold. The view in rooms 127 to 140 is a big container. Laundry service is outstanding. Elevator out of service for months now. Gym is outdated but massage parlor is ok.

Employees so nice and gentle! Rooms are comfortable. Swimmingpool-area beautifull, Breakfast is very basic but outside restaurant deliver good food!

Not a bad place to spend an afternoon by the kids or adults pool. I guess the circa 7m diving board is the star attraction. The staff are friendly and the food is above average. Just go & have fun.

We had a great relaxing week staying at the Laiko Hotel. The room was of a good standard and was kept perfectly clean by the friendly and courteous staff. Room was sprayed daily to make sure there were no mosquitos to spoil our holiday. Food was good and plentiful. We would definitely stay there again in the future.

Hotel reception was not able to give me UN rate even though I showed my UN ID card on check in Water was leaking out of the toilet during my whole stay. No refund on bad prepared food, raw potatoes, chewing gum meat. Showers and toilets at the swimmingpool are falling apart Mattresses on poolside are dirty, needs to be changed.

Every thing is good in general, however there is a little bit in their service, I wanted to play billiards which they said that the keys of it with the manger and the manger was not around and they don't know when he will back! We are not in an office actually they need to be more responsible.

Very nice old british colonial style building. The accomodation is perfect.

Nice size rooms. Very dated. Needs a refresh. I haven't stayed in other places nearby, but this decor would have been fantastic in 1980. Great swimming pools!

Expensive rooms 230$ for a double. Very nice rooms, great pool and garden area. Great band in the evening, made our evening wonderful. Food is really good, big sizes. Breakfast incredible. Poor bar service, no knowledge of cocktails on their menu… Would be worth returning if the price was more reasonable for bed and breakfast.

Comfortable and friendly staff. Uganda at ease. Lake Victoria shore is just a walk away and its safe to walk there.

Overall a nice place to relax by the open-air swimming pool. The restaurant menu is westernized, both in terms of offered meals and prices. The gift shop is highly over priced and offers pretty much the same items as other local shops.

Pool is great, can visit for 20000 shillings if you are not a guest. Is a great place to spend an afternoon.
