I have juned the gymnasium here. It's a wonderful place. The grounds are super, there is a great golf course. Haven't stayed, but have had some great food here.

Hotel and rooms clean and comfy bed. Food very nice. Golf course is top notch and makes you think your way around. Great place for golf stay.

Lovely hotel and surroundings. Nice and relaxed. Restaurant a tad pricey but probably what you would expect from such a place.

Friendly staff and lovely facilities. The treatment area is particularly good with very professional staff. Pool is a touch small but everything is good quality and the staff are all friendly and helpful.

I visited the hotel on a spa day with my partner. We were welcomed at the leisure reception and told about the facilities that we could use. The service was friendly and professional. We used the gym which had modern equipment and was clean. The changing facilities and the lockers were also modern and clean. The pool area was a little dated with some stains on the walls. The jacuzzi wasn't bubbling and we were not told about this. We had lunch in the zest restaurant which was good quality for a hotel, the waiter here was also friendly and polite.

Very nice exterior setting with the park and architecture of the ' manor '. The rooms are clean and cosy. It contains the standards of the English hotels that give a typical look to the building or you can find it obsolete (shower mixer and old sink). An idyllic setting for a wedding reception.

The pool side of things is tired looking and could do with a lick of paint. Staff in the Zest bar are very good. The spa seemed pricey compared to Waterton Park spa in west Yorkshire.

Nice enough place, but don't trust much of the info on their site. No min fridges, the one restaurant is only open on friday/Saturday but you can make reservations for it on the website for most day. Staff were a mix of helpful and clueless. Ice machine was broken for the entire week. Found a broken pint glass in the smoking area the 1st morning and told the front desk, no one cleaned it up. Place looks nice but that is about it. Can hear people in other rooms pretty clearly.

Stayed here during the festive season and loved it. Very cosy and hospitable, the staff are just lovely and hotel itself is beautiful. The lobby was delightfully decorated, and the room itself was spacious, clean and well maintained. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!

Booked a spa day. Hotel grounds are beautiful. On arrival hotel receptionist was helpful and guided us to the leisure area. Staff at the reception in the leisure were very accommodating and helpful. Massage and facial was amazing so was the therapists. Pool area was a bit of a letdown as there were swimming lessons going on and hot tub was a bit overcrowded. Sauna and steam was average sized.

Enjoyed the golf course and the leisure centre here several times. Course reglects the local topography with plenty of changes in elevation, fair greens and has always been in good condition. Leisure centre has a 20m pool, a very large jacuzzi, a steam room and a sauna. I didn't use the gym.

Very nice. We had a good day. Excellent gym, good size pool, great aquarobics session and lovely ladies in the spa.

A very nice hotel in Shipley, Yorkshire. There is a leisure centre with a spa which can be used by guests of the hotel for free. There is a big swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna and steam room and areas just to relax. There are two restaurants but the main one is not open on Mondays and Tuesdays. The food is tasty and you will get a good portion. There is a good selection of options for breakfast as well. The rooms are quite big, clean and very well equipped. The bathroom is a bit dated but there is nothing wrong with it. Staff is very friendly at the reception and also in the restaurants and the leisure centre. I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy this hotel and its amenities and offerings.

Very disappointed. Feel a right chump. We had gone for a special wedding anniversary break and booked for the evening meal and breakfast. Not cheap by any means. The hotel has no nice lounge to sit in, tired looking, not grand as would be expected. We were told on sitting down for our evening meal that we would have to pay extra for almost 50% of the menu! No table cloths, no bread on the table, we were so unhappy and felt totally ripped off. Hollins Hall thinks it is better than it really is. Save your money and go somewhere else, not here. Adele, Mansfield.

A fabulous hotel which allowed us to bring our very large dog to. A great swimming pool of bigger proportions than many hotel pools. Plenty of choice for breakfast and in the lounge for lunch. Access to Golf course and public footpaths for dog walking. Staff very helpful and friendly. Will be going again.

Room impeccable and service very very good. Check in was polite and efficient. Breakfast was mostly cold and lots of other comments were heard of the same sort. The only let down. Bed was incredibly comfy and a very pleasant nights sleep.

Not an overnight guest but an attendee at a Wedding Reception. The event hall was lovely as were the bar attached to the room the only down fall for the hotel is that the bar is overpriced, £5.25 for a Kopperburg really overpriced. I understand you gotta make money but that's a little steep.

We were attending a local wedding and stayed for one night. The staff were very efficient and helpful. The room was quiet and clean, and the bed very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable, food is superb, staff very friendly. Untill our last morning. I went with a coach tour, while we were having breakfast they were taking the plates etc while we were finishing our last mouthful. Made us feel unwelcome.

We stopped in a family room with 2 children under 10. We all loved the excellent swimming pool, Wi-Fi and restaurant. It's also located in a lively part of the country that we're keen to explore, so will be back.

I was a day guest at Hollins Hall. The spa treatment was really good but I was extremely disappointed that the salmon sandwich I ordered to go was tinned salmon. Tasted foul. £8 for a tinned salmon sandwich and half a tub of butter slathered on the bread, I'll pass on the food of there's a next time.

Nice quiet, picturesque location with pleasant surroundings. Staff friendly and accommodating to a point; that point not being allocating a room away from the late night noise of a wedding that kept my wife and I awake when we had to leave early the next day. Others in our group did not hear the loud music as they were in rooms away from the noise. If staying here, be sure to ask for a room isolated from the late night noise of some party.

Fantastic hotel and great staff! We stayed over for a family wedding and everything was absolutely perfect, better than we imagined. Lovely spacious room with cosy beds and great facilities (good selection of tea and coffee! ) Beautiful surroundings too. Would definitely come back!

Although the property does have a distinctly 90s feel, that somehow adds to the charm. The staff could not have been more attentive. I've somehow ended up with silver elite status, which seemed to get us an upgrade to a twin double room even though I wasn't strictly eligible. The food in the bar was excellent. The pool was great and very quiet and relaxing.

Had a lovely stay. All staff really friendly and efficient. Enjoyed drinks and dinner in the bar, relaxed and informal. Went swimming late on and so peaceful and relaxing. Nice changing rooms and good towel/locker system. Room good size and clean/comfy. Bit outdated but overall great.

Fabulous round of golf on a dreary day. The course was in fantastic shape and looked very well. The greenkeepers even helped find my ball when it went slightly off course on the 10th.

Good facilities and friendly staff.

The staff were wonderful from check-in through breakfast the next morning and when we checked out. Our room was on the ground floor and we had our young son with us. We were offered a ground floor room in a quiet part of the hotel so as to have less noise and avoid taking the buggy upstairs in the lifts. The room was a standard double room with a woodland view and enough space for a cot if we had needed one. The room and bathroom were very clean but the bed was a little soft for our comfort. This isn't necessarily a negative, just personal preference. Breakfast was a buffet with the usual choice of cereals, pastries and cooked bacon eggs etc. It didn't stand out as fantastic for the extra cost vs a room without breakfast but it did the job. We'd stay again if we're in need of accommodation in the area in future.

Enjoyed our stay. The room was massive, and clean. Only down side was it was overheated and we couldn't turn it down. Even with the window open, it kept me awake. The staff were great and the breakfast had a lot of choice.

Enjoy Hollins Hall, especially the pool and Jacuzzi. Fitness Classes fabulous aswell.

Lovely location for Bradford Salts etc Golf there if u are into it. Just off main road easy to get to lovely place.

Hollins Hall could be termed a resort course attached as it is to the hotel but with multiple tee options and big undulating USGA greens it can be beefed up to accommodate the pros, it has hosted EuroPro events in the past so it’s a good test of your game. More recently it’s host for the enthusiastic amateurs of The Trilby Tour. Before playing it’s wise to practice your putting those big greens can be hit in regulation but their speed means two putting is no formality. Set on high land the course offers good views across the area but wind is a factor on many holes particularly the 6th, 10th, 11th, 16th which are invariably into the wind. Notable holes are the downhill 9th, signature viaduct hole 14th and risk and reward 17th. A score can be made at here but just as easily slip away from you. Hollins Hall can usually be relied on to be open when other courses in the area are closed due to bad weather and don’t used temporary greens or tees.

Room is okay. Have free Wi-Fi but not good signal at all. Very convenient to the Oxford street and the Hyde park.
